My central A/C was not cooling on April 2 and called to schedule a service call. The technician, Dean, arrived late that afternoon and after a quick inspection he said that I had a freon leak and recommended that I replace my entire A/C handler at a cost of $2900. He called Coburns on my behalf and told me that it was no longer under warranty. He recommended a 3 1/2 ton air handler even though I only had a 3 ton condenser unit outside. Of course he quoted me a price of $4900 for a complete system replacement. All of this because there was a leak in the system. He NEVER mentioned replacing just the evaporator coils I called another A/C company recommended by a friend the following Monday. I was told that there was a small leak and and that he could recharge with freon and it would probably last another 4 years or so before needed to be recharged again. When I told him that Glaze wanted to replace the entire A/C handler he was shocked and told me that was completely unnecessary. He told me that only the evaporator coils needed to be replaced. He called the manufacturer and found out that the handler was in fact still under warranty for 4 more years. He ordered it for me and installed it two days later at a cost to me of $500. Much less than the $2900 Glaze wanted to charge me to install a new, and unnecessary A/C handler. I learned two lessons from this ordeal. One, never call an A/C tech who works on commission late in the day on a Friday on one of his last calls. Two, NEVER use Glaze for anything . Ask around and find someone reputable and sincere instead of being gouged like I almost was by Glaze.

Can't say enough great things about this company. Mr dean came out after hours to get my a/c back up and running. He was knocking on my door within 20 minutes of talking to him, was very courteous, did a quick and quality job and best of all didn't charge an arm or leg. By far the best in the area.

Glaze personnel were very professional and knowledgeable. They replaced my central air system in four hours and they have a very good warranty. I will recommend them to all my family and friends.

Excellent service, very professional. I was not disappointed. Mr. Glaze did not charge me for the service, as I have a strange issue with my system which refused to happen while he was here. No worries though, as I have confidence he'll be able to fix the issue once the a/c runs more frequently as summer approaches.

These people came out on Christmas Eve and did not charge me an extra charge. I overheard the technician talking to Mr. Glaze after the job was completed and Mr. Glaze wanted to be sure I was satisfied with the job. I certainly was.
