Description of Work: We called and asked Mr. Hebert for an appointment to review our soffits and give us an estimate of the cost for repair. The appointment was for 2/25. No one ever showed up or called. Cajun Carpentry never contacted us so no work was done. As far as I am concerned when a service company does not even respond they are out of my life for good.

Summing up my review of Cajun Carpentry is unfortunately not good. They showed a total lack of respect for their customer and no regard for their word; "To do what they say they will do, when they say they will do it ." No integrate.
Description of Work: They did not hold to their agreed upon contract. Cajun Carpentry was contracted to install the backsplash tile in my kitchen. We agreed on a labor price and my husband would furnish all supplies. The day before our scheduled appointment, I started receiving "funny" text messages from one of the owners. He wanted to move the date into the next week, because he had broken his foot on another job and had unexpected surgery. After hashing out options, it was agreed that he and his partner would come together and could handle everything needed to be done in that day. The day of our meeting, I get another text message informing me that the partner without the broken foot was flooded in his neighbor hood and had been for 3 days. Once again, asking for a change of date. Had never mentioned his flooded in partner in previous messages, so I knew this contract was over. I asked for a honest "yes" or "no" as to whether or not they wanted out of their contract as they were holding up future remodeling to be done. I received a "yes, I'm very sorry." They are a very young company, made up of two men doing these projects part-time. Both have other full time jobs.
