Acadian Windows and Siding LLC

I am updating my review. I originally had an issue with some minor damage done to the window casing when the windows were installed, which would be expected. I truly believe this company's normal course of action would be to alert the owner to the damage, and repair and paint, assuming the homeowner has paint to match. The install crew that did our house did not follow this course of action. However, upon alerting the management of the company, and the owner came out to look at the work. He not only repaired the damage and cleaned up any problems, he also framed out 3 windows that had damage at his cost. I can unequivocally state that the owner of this company cares about his firm's reputation and his customer's satisfaction. He turned a somewhat unhappy customer, into a referral source. Kudos!

The representive was on time for the presentation and was very professional even though he was filling in for the actual salesman. The day of the installation the crew was also on time and knew what to do. Each person went about their job without any direction from me. They were considerate of my possessions. They also helped me when I couldn't remove or move something by myself. All in all I was very pleased with the company and their crew.

Even though it is not cost effective for them to install just 2 windows, they worked with us anyway and were extremely understanding of our budget concerns. The installer was quick, courteous and cleaned up after himself in both rooms. We were very impressed with their level of service, attention to detail and their willingness to be flexible to get the job done.

Great! There were some minor drywall issues (totally normal for this type of job) but they immediately scheduled the repairs and took care of it.

All the contractors were both expedient and professional. Also, continued the job as a heavy lightning storm was approaching, then made the necessary steps to make sure the insulation would stay anchored to the studs, because wasn't enough time to put up the siding. I have other house projects in mind and would not hesitate to use Acadian windows and siding again.

Very fast workers, cleaned up after, have used them 3 times, very pleased with their product.

It went great ! They worked like I do, and I am "old school," that is, I try to give more than expected. For example, when I gave instructions to the installation crew, I was not specific enough. I told them all I wanted to have to paint was the 3 doors. They took me literally and metal clad all the door frames and headers. I did not know that could be done, and I was pleasantly surprised. It looks beautiful. I found 2 little areas that I thought might need attention, and when I called, they had the foreman out the next day - first thing. No problem correcting the concerns. I was so impressed with their work, I will use them on future projects.

They completed the work in about 2 1/2 hours. Windows look great! Used drop cloths, and cleaned up well afterward.

The guys showed up at nine and were able to install all but two windows and the patio door before the rains hit. The next morning they completed the job before noon and after some additional sealing the windows were inspected and the guys cleaned up everything, This is my second time using acadian and I was very happy with the results both times

Overall excellent experience. Initial sales visit was no pressure with a good demonstration of all of the features of the windows. I had a lot of specific questions regarding energy numbers some of which were not able to be answered immediately but I was proptly given the information through follow up calls and email. Big reason for final choice of Acadian was their own installation crews. Brian's crew could not have been better. Arrived when they said they would and got right to work. Lots of care taken to insure both interior and exterior of the house stayed clean throughout the process. Can't imagine a crew doing a better job at being neat and clean. One window was ordered incorrectly but the problem was addressed immediately and the correct window was ordered and installed promptly. Highly recommended. Quality windows with superb installation at a very competitive price.

All things considered, I'd say it went very well. They replaced all 18 windows in one day, and then 2 hours the next morning. The workers were professional, the quality of the materials used in the manufacturing of the windows puts Window World to shame.

We could not be happier with the service Acadian has provided us. From the initial presentation and proposal process to the installation and cleanup it was first class. Approximately one year ago they replaced two sliding glass doors, one huge picture window and 5 other windows. That job went very smooth also. I called to have them quote to on the remainder of the windows (13 additional) on our two story house, they responded immediately. Additionally, they honored the price that I had paid per window over a year ago. Once the windows were available (approximately 2 weeks) they called to set up the installation date. They called the night before to make sure everything was still on for the next day. The installers arrived right on time and they actually sent two groups of installers to get the job done quickly. They started at 8 am and were completely finished, windows cleaned and the work site spotless by 2pm. The installers could not have been more professional and I would recommend Acadian Windows and Siding to anyone who needs windows replaced.

Each time I hired them, they have showed up when they said they would, they were professional and surprisingly quick, and their workmen were clean and friendly and I had confidence they knew what they were doing. So, far all of the work they have done is holding up beautifully. I think they were very detailed and did not do any sloppy work at all. I'll be calling them today to get a bid on siding.

We live in an older New Orleans style home and nothing is "standard" size. Acadian had to deal with multiple customized situations. Craig the owner won us over with his professionalism, great design advice and commitment to excellence. The window crew came first, very prompt, professional and worked like a well oiled machine. Within 2 days we had 17 beautiful new windows, 4 of them being a bay window arrangement. The siding crew was just as dedicated. Our house is beautiful. We could not be happier that we chose Acadian and intend to use them again to replace the rest of our windows. What a first class company!! Oh and I almost forgot. They work on Saturdays too!

Best experience we've ever had with work at our home. From the first phone call, everyone was prompt, extremely nice and easy to work with. The windows are beautiful and will surely add to the value of our house not to mention the savings on heating and cooling costs. The lifetime warranty is a huge plus. The crew just finished the installation and I couldn't wait to share how happy we are. Their work was first rate. They protected carpet inside and landscaping outside. They made it such a pleasant experience and left everything so clean. Really appreciated their professionalism and friendliness!

I could not have been happier. They did a great job installing. They were clean and protected my wood floors. They accommodated my schedule and my cats needs. After a lot of research and meeting with different companies, I found their windows to be a superior product at a reasonable price.

First three people arrived as scheduled. They completed the job in an hour and a half. They were extremely professional and courteous. I cannot say enough about their skills and knowledge of what needed to be done. There were no issues or surprises. They protected the floors and furniture with tarps and did a great job of cleaning up afterwards. I would highly recommend Acadian Windows and Siding for window replacement. They were prompt, efficient and completed services rendered by contract. Would use again. Craig the owner was responsive to any questions and checked his installers work. Very happy with the services provided. We need more companies that follow through on the services they provide.

The window replacement was excellent. The workers worked constantly and did a very professional job and we couldn't be happier. The windows fit very tight and really insulate the inside of the house. They are very attractive and function very well. The dormer siding and insulation went equally as well and look great. The men worked very hard until they finished. The doors were a little more tricky and were a bit harder to put in. The suppliers were rather slow getting the doors to Acadian, but Craig repeatedly kept in touch and made sure the job was done right. He and the office staff always answered the phone and knocked themselves out to satisfy us in every way. Neil, the sales representative, was very knowledgeable and kept in touch as the jobs were being done,as well. Craig, the owner, came out several times and inspected everything and made sure everything was done to our satisfaction. We were very pleased with the way he handled everything. Although it was the supplier's fault that the doors were a bit slow, and not Acadian's, Craig discounted the door job...something that no company has ever done for us!! This is a one-of-a kind company! This is about the only company I have ever used that did everything we asked. Everyone was very polite, friendly and competent. I highly recommend them!! They go above and beyond what is required to be an excellent company!

I am so happy that my husband and I chose to use Acadian Windows and Siding. They were recommended to us by my mother who had recently had all of her windows replaced by Acadian. She had consultations with a few other window companies who just could not match the quality and price that they could offer her. I believe Acadian even took a torch to the windows for my mother to prove how well insulated the windows were. She really did her research and mother always knows best! My husband I were only going to replace only a few windows in the most drafty areas of the house because of our current budget but we really wanted to do the whole house. We sat down with the salesman Mr. Howard and were able to set up a financing plan at a very low monthly cost, which I am happy to say will be offset by our energy savings. He also suggested some vertical windows witch I am thrilled with and feel like they offer a much prettier view. My windows were installed one week later and all in one day. They said to be careful for a while after the installation in case of small glass shards but I mopped my floors after the service and have not found a single one and has been a month. When the service providers came to my house they were very polite and courteous. They were very thorough and approachable. I always have lots of questions and they were happy to answer them. You can tell they had lots of experience and training. The service provider told me if I got any seep holes in the caulking around the window sills to just give them a call and they would come right back out. This sometimes can happen in older homes. I had only one small are where this occurred. I called Acadia and spoke with the Office manager Mr. Himmaugh . He asked me about my experience and satisfaction level. He had some one come out the very next day and remedy the problem. I really have to say that they are a very professional Company with stellar customer service! The entire experience was great. We called Acaidian Windows and a representative came the next day. He was very professional and provided a very informative demonstration of their product. After we agreed to use his company he did a comprehensive evaluation and gave us an estimate. He indicated about how long it would be for the windows to be built. As soon as the windows were ready we were contacted and a time and date was set for installation. The workers arrived on time and were very proffessional and efficient. We were having a considerable renovation done, and other workers were there. The Acadian workers were able to work around the others and completed the work in a timely manner. We checked most of the work before the workers left, however the next day we found some caulking that was wrinkled and not very attractively applied. We called Acadian and they came back the next day with more workers and they re-did all of the questionable areas. They were very responsive to our needs and concerns and were very sincere and pleasant to work with. The product is fantastic. We have noticed a reduction in our power bill and it's noticably quieter than the previous windows. I would highly recommend this company.

I got quotes from the top 2 providers of replacement windows on Angies List. Both came out and showed off their window. I honestly couldn't tell the difference, except that the Acadian windows had a reinforced piece under the latches. Both were Argon insulated, low "E", etc. The Acadian quote was $1000 less than the other one. Acadian was local to the New Orleans area, the other was out of Baton Rouge. (I live in Terrytown, on the Westbank) Acadian promised the work would be completed in 2 weeks, except that one window was above a bathroom tub, so it took a few days longer to order "Tempered" glass for that one window, as per code. One thing I would have to deduct points for, is that when the measurement guy came out, he added $45 per window for "Capping", which is a trim piece that covers the gap around the window, where the caulking shows. It is pretty obvious no one would want that gap showing, and I feel the salesman should have mentioned it, and put it in the original quote. Even with the extra charge, Acadian was still less than the other quote. Everything went well. They were completely finished with removal and installation in 3 days, (one day was slow due to raining). It took about 2 - 1/2 weeks for the entire process, with waiting for the tempered glass. The windows look great. The noise level from outside is greatly diminished, and I am completely satisfied. Although I don't foresee ever having to replace windows again, I would use them again, if the need ever arose.

Needed new windows our electric bill was outrageous. Our house is up in age and has old wood window frames that were cracking and leaking. Acadian Windows came out and gave us and estimate that was great and had several options of windows to choose from. Demonstrated the different windows. Also had financing options. Ordered windows and they were installed in 2 weeks. They arrived when they said they would and cleaned up whatever mess they made. Excellent work and excellent product. Would definitely use then again.

The process was exceptional. This is a Class A organization. Acadian Windows came early in the morning. They did quality work.

I called various contractors that specialize in windows to look at the wooden door assembly that I had installed across the rear of my house 15 years ago. A set of three 30 inch wide wooden frame glass doors, 6ft 8in high were installed in my dining area and a set of two 36 inch wide wooden frame glass doors were installed in my adjoining den (or great room)making the rear of my house appear very open. Over the 15 year period, the wood frames and door stock had deteriorated badly and I had wood rot throughout the area. Of the several companies that responded, none of them seemed to have the means or wherewithal to replace the material in the area with a new set of glass door sized windows that would not deteriorate or rot or have hurricane impact glass that was both tinted and attractive. AS I went into my second year attempting to solve this problem, this company 'ACADIAN WINDOWS AND SIDING" were installing windows in the little town of St. Rose, LA where I live. I asked for a representative to stop by and look at my problem. Mr. Ricks came by and immediately assured e that he could furnish the materials and do the installation in a relatively short period of time at an affordable price. I hired him on the spot. The units were assembled on site. The door sections were made of fiberglass with factory colors, and the frames were made from a composite threshold material. All of the surrounding areas were covered with PVC coated metal sheeting to match the factory colors. The glass is all Hurricane Impact. We are more than 100 percent satisfied with both job and prices and recommend Acadian Windows and Siding of Kenner, LA every chance we get.
