Acadian Windows and Siding LLC

I had earlier submitted an unfavorable review but my opinion has changed since they have done everything that I asked for. I received a call from the manufacturers office ( the people who actually build the windows) In Arkansas and they said it was their fault (not Acadian Windows) the windows were delayed because their hero glass equipment was broken. A very nice gentleman (Joe) from Acadian Windows came and corrected everything that needed to be done. The windows are now installed and they are beautiful. Everything works great and I am very happy with my new windows. My rating today for their services would be very good.

Excellent work. My sales person (David May) walked me through every step, including prices of different options. They were able to schedule and complete the work within about a week. The siding looks great. The men cleaned up afterwards.

Great! One of my big bay windows didn't meet their standards when it was delivered to their yard, so they re-ordered it. They called me in advance of the installation to inform me of this. Top notch product and service.

My overall experience with Acadian Windows was fantastic! From the beginning when I first called for an estimate all the way until the job was completed. They were able to work with my schedule so I didn't have to miss any work throughout the process. The salesman was very nice and informative and never pushed for the sale. The installation was done very thorough and only took a day or so. While the price might have been a little higher than competing companies the quality of their window stood out beyond all the others. So for me that made it worth it. I highly recommend this company.

Everything went great I especially appreciate my salesman Joe who helped me save a few dollars on a few windows and show me how to make my front windows look amazing. All the windows came in on time and were installed in one day with no problem and the crew cleaned up everything behind them. I would definitely use them again but I probably will not have to since these windows will last me a lifetime!very satisfied customer with the best looking windows on the block.

Acadian just made our backyard enjoyable again. We have horses behind our property and they cause terrible flies whenever we have a gathering. We used Acadian in the past and saw them at the recent Home Show in Superdome. I told them our problem and they recommended enclosing our porch with a sunroom. Well they finished yesterday and my wife and I couldn't be happier. Today I'm having a birthday party for my niece and boiling crawfish for about 20 people. Before getting this room there is NO WAY we could've done this without being malled by flies. The installers were great and Carey helped me change things around from the original design so when I add our pool in a few years things would make sense. I have Windows from floor to ceiling and big French doors so I can open for gatherings. Bottom line is anything I've called Acadian to do has gone excellent. It's one thing to pay someone for doing work. When you call Acadian you pay for a service and they all want to do the best for you and your family. I wish there was a way to upload pictures to Angie's list so you could see for yourself.

WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND THEM. After losing our home in a flood, it was necessary that we replace every window. Though there were other, considerably less expensive vendors, we went with Acadian Windows, based on several outstanding recommendations. Our experience was terrible. Our windows are incorrect (and ugly) because of a miscommunication. When we pointed this out, after having already spent nearly twice as much as another vendor, their solution was for us to pay another $1k to make them remotely attractive (which they said was their cost). So basically we are stuck with windows that were more expensive, not what we wanted and then cost another $1k. (And they were not uniformly installed so installing interior blinds is a major problem.)

Great crew, professional installation, and debris removal with respect for interior and exterior of home.

I was told on the phone they would not come out for one window! I explained that it was a vey big and expensive window but that was all I needed. They said sorry we have a four window minimum. I asked to speak to a manager thinking the receptionist didn't understand what I needed and was told "they are not available to speak to you". I then asked if there was anyone else I could speak to and was told "it won't do any good because we have a four window minimum"". I think not being allowed to explain what I needed was rude and stupid. I call another Angies list company and was allowed to explain what I needed and I was told "we will be glad to help but you should be aware the glass by itself will be fairly expensive" I was very pleased with that response as I knew I was dealing with a knowledgeable person.

I had Acadian come out and enclose my car port. I was worried it couldn't be done because of the odd pitch on my carport. But i was blown away by the end result. These guys were punctual and professional. They answered all my questions and addressed all of my concerns before they started work. I would highly recommend Acadian for any enclosure you are looking to do. They impressed me.

Arrived on time for sales pitch, very professional and detailed. Provided several options on types of windows and assisted with the design in replacing a plant window and a bay, They arrived on time and installed 25 of 27 windows on the first dat. The 3 that were not installed were measured incorrectly and had to be remade by the factory, (factory error). The only other issue was we chose rain glass for three bathrooms. When the windows arrived, the fain was flowing side wards, not up and down. It took about 3 weeks to get the replacements. Overall satisfied with the service and the installation. Price was competitive with other suppliers. I chose Acadian Windows because of the professional attitude of their staff. I would recommend them and plan to seek estimates on other work.

Received excellent information on new windows from Craig Ricks, had all my questions answered and had them ordered. Came in timely and were put in timely as scheduled. Work done was very professional and he took his time with the windows (didn't rush). Even though my job would be considered small, I appreciate the time Craig took with me. Would highly recommend.

They were professional, on time, and did good work. They missed a few items like caulking around a high window but immediately and cheerfully addressed all the details I pointed out. On the down side, they did trample a garden ornament when they started hurrying because they ran late. On the plus side, they noticed a smudge on the inside of the double pane window that I hadn't seen and ordered a replacement and installed it.

Bottom line is that when I need more windows replaced, I will have them do it. They are very concerned with customer satisfaction. There were a few problems along the way but they made every effort to fix everything I was concerned about. The Vista windows they sell are very well made and were part of the reason I chose them. Of the two vendors I was considering, they had the higher quality windows and better overall reviews (and no bad ones) although they had fewer reviews. While installing the windows, they noticed one that had not been properly cleaned internally at the factory. They brought it to my attention, ordered a replacement pane, and came back out to replace it with no prompting or questions from me. I'm very particular and they addressed all my concerns promptly and courteously, including returning on an extra trip to address something I noticed later.

The workers were prompt, courteous, professional and did a great job. I really appreciated that they used tarps to protect the flooring and furniture (and even the plants outside the windows) to protect the surrounding area. The windows are beautiful. For the most part, their clean up was excellent. In three rooms they vacuumed the area after they worked; on a porch room, they did not vacuum. A minor complaint, as they were responsive to other requests--such as making a screen more taut.

I was very pleased with the Acadian team. We had 3 companies come out and give us estimates. We chose Acadian because of what we read on a angies list and they had the most colors options for the shutters. Our windows were installed first because they took less time to make. The installers were all very kind and respectful of our home. It must've been 100 degrees outside and they never stopped working. About a week later the shutters were ready and they came an installed them. My husband and I barely recognize our home. Home improvements can be such a nightmare and every step of the way I felt everyone at Acadian Windows was commited to providing me great service

These guys are awesome!! We contracted them to renovate the exterior of our home with .new Windows ,siding and shutters. We could not be happier. Fast and efficient bottom line These guys are professionals ... I would refer them to any one

"Wow" Excellent work, Great service all the way from the Salesmen and quote to the install crew. My Wife and I called every window and patio company in town and we choose Acadian windows and siding and boy are we glad we did. Acadian went above and beyond our expectations . giving us the best windows for the best price, i did my home work no one could compare not even close. The istall crews where great they where on time efficiant, fast and very knowledgeable, making my wife and i feeling very confident every step of the way and she's not an eazy pleapleaser but the best part is our entergy bill reduced more than half so Yeah" WOW" we HIGHLY RECOMMEND ACADIAN widows & siding not conviced just ask my wife . She'll be in the sun room

Excellent work performed by competent and extremely courteous and accommodating staff. They collaborated well with another subcontracting team who was doing a stucco job simultaneously and followed right behind them to stucco around the window installs. In particular, Riley and Jamie went above and beyond to help and to ensure happy customers and a successful outcome. The house is so quiet now.

Acadian was very prompt in answering phone calls and emails. Salesman came to the house on a Saturday and was prompt. Workers showed up on time each day since our large job required two work days. Installation crew was very nice to work with and they were very neat with the installation and covering the flooring and furniture around the windows. Our installation took place on two of the hottest days in July with heat warnings in affect, and these guys didn't still did a great job. Afterwards, I did have to pick up a few nails around the yard, but mostly the area around the house was left as clean as before the job was started. The best part was that I did not have to pick up any glass!! It was a pleasure working with Acadian and would highly recommend.

Installers were punctual, courteous , professional, and knowledgeable. Took care to cover and move furniture and cleaned up afterwards. Worked quickly and respectfully.

I had gotten quite a very other estimates and had decided to use Acadian and I am sure glad I did. I love my windows! My salesman was the only one to suggest 70/30 windows on back of house (which I love). The guys who installed the windows were fast, efficient and very knowledgeable. They came in and just did everything and more. These guys go the extra mile which you don't see much anymore. Would use them again and recommend them. Again thank you Acadian!!!

Neil came out and gave me a quote on the windows and was very helpful answering my questions. I placed the order and the windows were ready as promised within 2 weeks. Robert was the lead installer with another guy and they came out on a Friday, but got interrupted midway through the job due to heavy rain. They offered to come back on Saturday am to finish the job, but I couldn't be home. I thought I was going to have to wait till later in the week to get the job finished, but Robert called me and said he had arranged a crew to come out on Sunday because he didn't want to leave me hanging. As promised, he arrived promptly on Sunday morning and the guys worked quickly and efficiently. As they were caulking the final Windows I told Robert thank you for coming out on a Sunday and that hopefully the weather wouldn't affect the rest of his week. I asked if he had looked at the upcoming forecast, and he told me that he hadn't because he found out that his sister died the day before and was dealing with the shock for him and his family. I couldn't believe that he had managed to come to work given the circumstances. I don't think he would have ever told me about his sister if I hadn't sparked the weather conversation. The crew finished the work and did a great job cleaning up. I am thrilled with the new windows and the warranty that comes with them. This company is locally owned and operated and has now done two perfect jobs for me.

The salesman was prompt, courteous and answered all our questions. The price was very competitive with others and the quality was top notch. There was one hiccup where the day they told us (and I stayed home to meet them) they didn't put it on their schedule so didn't show up, but were very apologetic and got it rescheduled. During the install everyone was professional and they were quick and cleaned up everything. We were happy with the results and the energy savings have been obvious. Just recently after our major storms we saw a leak at the edge of the caulking on one window and asked them to take a look. Even though it was coming around their caulk where some mortar was breaking up at the edge of window and not with their work, the man was nice enough to patch it. I plan on getting the rest of my windows done periodically through them.

We chose Acadian Windows and Siding over their lower-priced competitors, due to the glowing reviews on Angie's list and the informative sales presentation we received. As we signed the contract to replace all of the windows in our home, I was convinced they were the best choice. I'm happy to report that they are the best choice! Our new windows really improve the look and feel of our home, but what stands out most, is the quality of the workmanship. The installers worked as if they were working on their own homes. If not for the perfectly installed, beautiful new windows, you'd never know a work crew had demolished and removed every scrap of old window from the house. Not a trace of debris was left inside or in the yard, and they were extremely careful of flooring, siding, and other small details. I will definitely be using them for future home improvements! Take it from a perfectionist - I highly recommend Acadian Windows and Siding!
