I would not recommend them to anybody. The contractor at R & D Builders & Design hardly ever showed up. The job took longer to finish than what it was supposed to be. His prices are very high and more than what was estimated. The electrical was poorly done that we've had problems with it ever since. He did a poor job.

They were horrible. The contractor had the attitude of "his way or no way". Like many construction projects, he was late, but then wanted his payment promptly. His workmanship was very poor and refused to stand behind his work. The house ended up sliding due to the construction, which was not suppose to happen, and refused to fix any of the problems. We have had trouble with the hardwood floors, cabinets in the kitchen and was not caring about the customer at all.

Contractor required payment in advance for work. Work started in December 2005 with an agreed completion date of March 31,2006. Contractor seldom came to inspect the work, and result was poor quality on floor installation in downstair room, many electrical problems. In addition, electrical work went over by $11,000 of estimate, and many discrepencies were found on billing dates and when work was actually done. I have had to since go back and rework some of the elecrtrical. I told the contractor that I would not pay the additional electrical because I received billing for days the electricians were not on site.
