QUALITY FURNITURE RESTORATION

My sister and I had them pick up the furniture prior to the sale and transfer of my parents' house. The pieces included a chest  of drawers including six drawers, a larger chest  of drawers including four much longer drawers and a mirror, a night table which included an enclosed cabinet and a lady's dressing/make up table also having a large mirror with three small drawers on each side.  This pickup occurred in September of last year with explicit instructions given for them to take their time and do a quality job on these piec-es. 
The furniture's original finish had been over painted with a lacquered finish and at a later point in time the lacquered finish had been scrapped off prior to a heavy application of paint being applied to all pieces.  The drawers were in need of repair along with some of the wheels.
The furniture was delivered to two separate locations in Baton Rouge during the last full week of March.  When refinished, the beautiful grain of the underlying mahogany wood showed in all of its splendor.  The staining had been very carefully applied.  All drawers had been repaired with new furniture backs and new wheels/castors installed.  I was astounded as to the transformation which had occurred. There were only minor pieces of the intricate scroll work missing from the original furniture designs.  I had been informed the paint had penetrated deeply into the wood grain.
Presented with the very pleasing results, I would not hesitate to to do the exact same thing again.  We were very pleased.
