Very very disappointing. I emailed three very clear photos to the woman I talked to on the phone who was actually seemed very helpful. I just needed them to replace a corroded outdoor faucet that was stuck to the pipe, and she emailed me back that it would take about an hour. But When the plumber arrived I had to tell him what the purpose of the visit was and I knew he hadn’t seen the pictures because he told me he couldn’t replace it or even cut the pipe (which is true b/c it's old steel, not copper), instead would have to go into the wall and it would be a huge deal and much more expensive. I would never have scheduled them if I know they couldn't fix it within an hour (that's why i sent the pics). So he spent maybe 2 minutes on a partial fix, talked with me a few minutes and said he was going to try to get his manager to come down on the price. He went out to talk to him on the phone and more than a few minutes later finally came back just to tell me they wouldn’t go down on the price--a ridiculous $125 for almost nothing. He just loosened the handle and I had to take the part to hardware store and replace it myself. Under no circumstances would I use this company again.

Can't thank them enough. The two men on the job came by right away and fixed a broken standpipe. The pipe is between the meter and my main shut off, and with it broken the house had no water (also water was inundating the yard until it was stopped at the meter). It now looks and functions better than before. Again, very grateful.

They called me when they were on the way. They were on time. Spent time with me understanding what I wanted and advising me on a path forward for each job. The jobs were all done efficiently and without delay. Pricing was very good.

Manager was rude and arrogant. Told my client that he wasn't going to help fix the damages after his manager agreed to make it right.

Perfect. David arrived on time, was professional, and courteous. We had a couple of other plumbing companies come out and get estimates on the cost or repair. One said a new unit would be needed, and one said they did not know if a part could be found. We called B & D on a Thursday afternoon, and the hot water heater was repaired early Friday morning. I would highly recommend B&D Plumbing in Denham Springs.

Very knowledgeable, not cheap but fair for the work was done. We looked very hard to find a plumber and were very happy with our choice.

I provided new fixture hardware, plumber provided labor and new parts for hot water line. He arrived on time, worked steadily and completed the job in a timely manner. I was very satisfied with the work provided.

Everything went fine as far as the work goes. The plumber was very professional, skilled, and efficient. The only reason I rated punctuality a B is because there seems to be substantial miscommunication amongst the workers. I called Tuesday, Sep. 8, and scheduled an appt. with the receptionist(?) for that Friday. I specified that the appt. had to be after 1:00P because I couldn't get off from work until then. I got the first call from the plumber Thursday morning saying he was on his way to install a water heater; I had to tell him our appt. was for the next day, and not for a water heater. I got a call Friday morning from a plumber saying he was on his way, and I had to again say the appt. was for after 1:00P. I got another call around 12:45P from the plumber saying he was sitting in my driveway. So, I had to leave work early and rush home.

Sewer backed up into tubs, sinks, etc on a Sunday morning. Called them and were at the house in 45 minutes. Were 2 of the most pleasant, courteous men. Had my problem taken care of in an hour. Would highly recommend.

We were very pleased with B & D's knowledge, responsiveness and patience tackling this job. This particular job was really a nightmare from start to finish (with absolutely no blame on B & D). After a lightning strike damaged our tankless water heater (among other things) we were forced to deal with our home insurance company and the manufacturer of our old water heater to try and find a suitable replacement option, which is easier said than done in a wonky 85+ year old home. We were so restricted by the cabinet space our water heater resides in and the lack of access to necessary venting components, that we actually had to return one replacement unit that wasn't able to be installed properly in the space and configuration we had available. B & D's service tech pointed us in the right direction of a supplier that finally helped us find a unit that could be installed successfully. We are very grateful for B & D's patience working with us and our insurance company through this entire process. From the initial repair service call to the final installation of a WORKING unit, everyone we interacted with from their company was extremely courteous and helpful. Their techs really went above and beyond on this one. Yay for hot water!

Have used Band D in the past. Good services.

My Hot water heater has a bad rotten egg smell. I have tried numerous time to replace the anode myself. But I could not loose the 3/4" connection. So I decided to hire a professional plumber. I telephoned Band D plumbing and ask to talk to a knowledgeable person so I could adequately explain my problem and nthey could bring the needed tools. The receptionist would not cooperate. She insisted I tell her about my problem. Her resonse was to schedule a crew. I told her again I wanted to speak to a professional before sending a crew so they could bring the correct tools. She began to act as though I was a "nut' or "crackpot". I finally got voice mail to one of the professionals. In left a detailed message about my problem.This guy never returned my phone call. Eventually another company did exactly as I asked. I talked to a professional on the phone . He sent a crew with exactly the tools needed. I was treated with respect. All in contrast to Band D plumbing.

Worked quickly, on time, and finished under budget

Service was very prompt and efficient.

They showed up when expected and replaced water heater without problems. There was some confusion about the appointment with the inspector and he showed up without me expecting him but I rescheduled and it was completed within 2 days.

B and D gave me an estimate for re-routing my kitchen/laundry room drain (which was cracked under the slab of my house) around the outside of my house and re-connecting it to the main drain line. The initial estimate was $2, 800.00 - the middle estimate of the three estimates I receive. A work crew arrived on the scheduled date. No one told me this would be a multiple day job, but the crew quit work around 2:00pm in the afternoon - because of the threat of thunder storms. The trench had been dug, and new drain pipes placed in the trench, and 1/2 of the trench covered with dirt. The crew did not make any attempt to cover the open trench with a tarp or other cover, or communicate with me that the trench should be covered. We had a heavy downpour, and the trench filled with water! The next day, the two guys who would eventually complete the job, said we needed to order a cubic yard of sand so they could put it in the trench and absorb the water. They knew of a company, and said it would cost $235.00. We called another company and got the sand delivered for $135. The sand got dumped on the sidewalk in front of my house. The two guys used very little of the sand, and my two sons ended up shoveling most of the sand and moving it to my backyard! It took another two days for these two guys to finish the job. One of the guys did very little work - and constantly had to use the restroom because he said he was diabetic. The final insult came when they tacked on a $385 charge for shoveling the sand! Wow - did I feel taken advantage of! Had these two communicated with me, I would have gladly covered the open trench - completley avoiding the need for the sand! The little amount of sand they shoveled should not have cost $385 in labor! I don't know how this charge was determined, but my son's actually shoveled more sand moving it to the backyard than these two! These two workers are slow - especially the one who talks all the time (sharing too much personal information) and going to the restroom frequently because of his diabetes! I will not be using Band D again.

B and D Plumbing provided a decent service. The guy who came for the service did a good job. However, the one I talked with for the estimate was not professional at all.

They job was done very quickly and in my mind, for a reasonable price. It has been a couple of years since it was replaced and it is holding up very well. There has been no problem whatsoever. I will use this company in the future.

I challenged the charges and offered an alternative based on the time the workers wee on site plus 1 hour for milage plus materials. They accepted my payment.

They did a good job with the plumbing but I thought that they should have cleaned up their mess.

Came and eyeballed the job and gave an outrageous bid. Didn't even get in the attic or check out the areas to determine amount of copper needed to install the gas lanterns.
