It went good. Some holes in yard from heavy limbs dropping to ground. Tried to back their big truck down my driveway and cracked the edge but you sign a waiver for that. They were in time. Did a good job and I'd hire again.

This simple job did did not go as planned. Company came out the first day and did not return until the following day to dispose of limbs. They left the limbs piled in the ditch. When they returned to remove the limbs they blocked the road. My wife was returned to the house and since the truck was blocking the road, the worker took the initiative to guide her between the truck and our mailbox. While he was waving her forward, she could hear the vechile scraping the mailbox. She reversed and the damage clearly showed damage in both directions. The worker and owner of the company claimed that the damage occurred when she reversed and cut her wheel during reversing. Scratch in both directions clearly shows otherwise. If she would have followed the workers directions, I would potentially have a scratch on front fender, both doors, and rear fender. Many of us have help guide a vechile through a restricted clearance, and it is pretty straight forward. If there is not enough room, an easy solution would be to ask my wife to park on the street until they few finished, but that didn't happen. Owner did not take responsibility when the photo clearly showed the damage did not match his workers claims. I would not trust this company on my property again.

Everything went really well. The crew was on time, they worked efficiently and quickly and made sure the work area and my yard were clean when they left. They communicated well and made sure I was aware of what they had to do and why they had to do it and were willing to answer all of my questions.

They came out timely to give an estimate. I texted him with the approval to perform the service . Then a different person called to tell me that they could not do what I had asked of them. He was so rude, I told him not come. I then texted the original man and he calmed me down and I agreed for them to do work. They performed the removal of the tree earlier than estimated which was great. That is the only nice thing I can say. I had made arrangements with the office girl to mail the payment into them as we were out of town. The receptionist called for payment before I even had an invoice and prior to the stump being grinded and removed. Once I told her the work was not complete they came out late the next day to grind the stump. However left ALL the chips. They advertise "your yard will look better than before" well last I checked I did have tree chips half way up my fence. I get another call from the receptionist asking for payment first thing in the morning, after the grinding of the stump. I told her the yard looks terrible and the tree chips are half way up the fence. She has the man who performed the work call me. He simply said they do not remove the chips. So the ad of " your yard will look better than before" is completely misleading. When I mentioned the ad to him he said that the ad is for the tree company not the service company. I explained in my original phone call to them that this is the 2nd time we were using them and that I was hesitant to do so because of the tree stump was not completely grinded and we never had returned calls or emails. So shame on me for using them a 2nd time. When explaining to a co-worker what happened she said "oh I had them come out for an estimate and they were so rude I would never use them." So my lesson has been learned NEVER use Zeigler Tree!!!!

They were there within 10 minutes of the promised time with a crane truck and truck and bobcat for removal of debris. They used the crane truck to remove the lightning damaged tree without climbing it, which I am sure was much safer given the extensive damage, and one of the other trees. All three trees were removed withing less than 4 hours and they cleaned up afterwards and hauled away all the debris. They put down plywood to protect my lawn and were very professional. I highly recommend them, and the more difficult the removal, the better I think they are. If the tree is dangerous due to damage or decay, or is in a very difficult location, this is the only service I would use because of the cranes.

They last came here in the last 2 months. I did not find them on Angie's list. I got them on a reference from a friend. They cost me $1,138. I have used them several times, this is not the first time I have used them. I would use them again in the future. They do their job and it looks like they were never there. They are very professional. They leave no refuse left behind, no trash left behind. When they are done it's like they were never there except that the tree is gone. They are insured and they provide you all those policies. The reason I use them is because tree cutting is not very safe, it's a very big tree and you want make sure that the people know what they are doing. Even if they are insured, you don't want anybody getting hurt on your property.

Recently I used Zeigler Tree Service to trim several trees in my yard. The trees are very large, very old oak trees and one of them is situated in the back yard. I was concerned about how they would be able to get to the tree in the back because the yard is fenced and the tree hangs over a pool but it was not a problem for them. I was so impressed with the care they used to prune these very old oaks. All of the people that I dealt with, including the owner of the company, the project manager, and each of the men who worked on my trees, were very professional, friendly, and extremely knowledgeable. The owner of the company returned my initial phone call within a few minutes and they were able to do the work within two days. They did a beautiful job on my trees and they left my yard cleaner than when they arrived. I highly recommend this company.

We knew about them beforehand. They've been around here for a long time. Their office is not far from where we live. I've met the owner before at a business marketing group. We didn't use Angie's List to get their name. They're very well-known here. They did an excellent job. They were prompt. They stayed on job. They cleaned up beautifully after themselves. We're pleased with them.

Great team - very responsive to our Angie's List message and subsequent phone calls. Showed up early and work completed in a couple of hours and left no trace of them even being there. Very impressed with their quick execution of the tasks. They also really knew what they were doing - at no time did we feel that the house or any other portion of our property was in danger of damage. Planning on using again!

The estimator came out on time, and gave what I would consider a good price. Tree was in a location which made it necessary to take it down in sections. The work crew arrived on time, and were completely finished in around 2 hours. They are very good at what they do. All debris was hauled off and the work area was cleaned up well. Would definitely use them again in the future; they are friendly, punctual, and great to deal with.

I was in no rush so scheduling I was flexible on timing. He called and said they could be here the next day at 8:00am. The next day at 8:00am the trucks were in front of my house ready to get started. I questioned the lead man about inspecting his tool and fall protection inspection. His reply was they inspect them before each use which was the correct answer. The took the top out of the tree cut it all up and loaded it all very safely. Then they cut down the tree bottom and loaded it also very safely. Overall I was very happy with the overall operation. The supervisor had been to my house before to look at a large oak tree and told us it was fine and didn't need to be removed.

This company did an excellent job from start to finish. From the initial visit by the licensed arborist who surveyed the job, to the actual visit by the work crew, everything went smoothly and seamlessly. Mr. Ziegler spent considerable time checking out the situation and advising us on the best course of action, after which he offered a very reasonable estimate for the recommended work. The work crew was punctual, friendly, and very efficient. Their equipment was state of the art. They took extra care not to damage the lawn. We couldn't believe how great the yard looked after they left! We would definitely use this company again - It was a pleasure to do business with them!

Set and appointment and they never arrived. I called them and they never called me back.

Not sure we know what Is/is not quality tree trimming. But, the work that was completed looked good. However, when dealing with Zeigler, pay very close attention to the contract and site plan and make sure everything you want done is listed. If not, it will not get done and will more than likely cost more than you originally planned. That was our experience and, on a $3000 job, we were asked to pay an extra $150 to do a minor trim job on a few trees that obviously should have been included in the site plan/contract. Also, make sure they deal with only one person from your family and that the same person is present when they are performing the job. If there is inclement weather, make sure they call you to reschedule so that you can be there. If not, you may be disappointed.

It was very good. They were very prompt. They’re a pretty renowned local company. They had good referrals on Angie’s List and they have a coupon for their business. They were professional. They were prompt in their service. They didn’t take forever. They got there, did what they had to do, and they finished on time.

Trimmed all the trees we discussed and a few extras along the way. We cleaned up branches and moved to burn pile. They even helped by cutting branches into movable sizes. Great company to work with!

Everything went fine. Finished on schedule and returned to grind stumps.

They were excellent. They came like they said they would and did the work. We had very large pine trees. They were able to take them out safely and did not destroy anything. They cleaned up the mess and were in and out in less than 4 hours.

Tree limb removal and cleanup (two trailer loads), stump grinding (ten), and pruning of high and broken limbs to prevent rot and falling hazard. Professional, punctual, well-equipped, good communication on-site, and very attentive to leaving no mess behind.

The tree removal went fine. Stump grinding went fine .I am disappointed at the condition the yard is in post removal and clean up.Their equipment and falling tree trunks resulted in significant indentations, rutts, piles of wood chips, and mashed grass. Hauling off the stump chips and filling the resulting holes was not part of the contract and therefore, becomes an additional costly activity for me. I have used Zeigler before and would use them again, but will be more specific about their tree trunk handling and stump grinding debris haul away next time. It should be noted that the yard was soft due to significant rain fall during and before the work. Drier conditions may have resulted in less yard damage.

I called Zeigler at the recommendation of a friend who had used them to remove several trees. When I called, I explained that I had several big pine trees close to my house that needed to be removed. The lady who answered the phone took my address and phone number. She said their estimator would be in my area on Thursday or Friday of that week. On Thursday she called me to say the estimator would be there the next day (Friday.) Friday came and went. No estimator. The following Monday, I called Mr. Zeigler at a cell phone number that my friend gave me. He assured me that the estimator would be by the next day. I informed him that I would be working that day. But, he should call me when he was at my house so I could explain what I wanted done. Needless to say, he again was a no show. That was a week ago and no one has contacted me since. Apparently they don't want my job. I will call someone else. Update: I have since received an estimate from Zeigler. Apparently they came to my home on the day I was working, but it was a week later that I finally received a phone call from the estimator. I am waiting on one more estimate before I make a decision.
