He was more than helpful. I was very pleased with what he said. I didn't understand the deal.

I found out that the service provider had a special through Angie's list for 800 square feet of attic installation for $149.00. I called the provider to let them know that I was interested and was told that I did not need to purchase the deal through Angie's list and that he would honor the price. I set up an appointment with him in the morning hours before I was set to go to work since the provider indicated that it would only take him10-15 minutes to look in the attic and give me an estimate. Well on the day he was supposed to come, he call me 30 minutes before and stated that he can still come but he will be about 30 minutes late. I asked him if we could reschedule because I did not want to be too late for work. The next appointment we scheduled no one showed up. I called the provider and he told me that one of his guys was supposed to come out. He apologized and told me that he would come out and for us to make another appointment. Well this time he came out and inspect the attic to give us an estimate and told us that he would email us the estimate. It has been 2 weeks and we have not heard back from him yet. I even left a message on his voice mail and he has not responded.

Darren was very quick to call come out to give me an estimate on the attic insulation with my package discount before I bought his coupon in case I thought his estimate was to high. That was no problem for him and sense his off was a very good deal I did not pass it up! His guys were so courtesy and willing to go beyond what most people do to make sure they left everything as it was when they got there. They cleaned their mess up so good that you did not even notice they had showed up at all. Except if you looked in the ATTIC that is and saw the additional insulation that is. I would certainly recommend them and I will would personally use them again for any additional jobs they might do for a home. VERY SATISFIED with the work and the communication was excellent! Great job!!

Despite confirming appointment by both email and telephone, Darren Gomez (proprietor) did not show-up for our scheduled appointment. A courtesy email or phone call ahead of time would have helped me avoid missing work for the missed appointment. I also called and left Mr. Gomez a voicemail to check-in with him after he missed the appointment, but he did not return the call. Given the impressive reviews on Angie's list, I was eager to do business with this company, expecting outstanding results.

They were very good and did everything that they said they would. They cleaned up when they left and they were on time.

I was looking to talk to someone about adding insulation to my attic. I gave Darren a call and he was extremely professional and spoke with me about 15 minutes regarding my issue. I ended up not even needing foam insulation after all, but I was very impressed by his willingness to speak with me and answered a ton of questions that I had. He even referred me to someone that could help me with my problem. I can understand why he is one of the top ranked contractors regarding spray foam insulation. Based on the reviews on Angie's list I called this company on 4/2/13 to have someone give me an estimate on installing spray foam insulation in my attic. I talked to Darren Gomez who said he would be here the next day, April 3, at 3:45 p.m. We even talked about the fact that I found him on Angie's list and he got great reviews. I was at home all afternoon and evening. He did not show up nor did he bother to call. This is now 3 days after he was supposed to be here and still have had no communication. I am very disappointed since the reviews said this company was excellent.

They did a very good job. They came out and they were very prompt. They called a gentleman on his cell phone and he was out the very next day with an estimate. He came by and walked through the house. He gave me some recommendations and some suggestions. When I called them, they were out here within a week and completed the job in a morning. I was very happy with them. They were very clean. They swept off and I really couldn't tell that they were out here, other than the job done. I didn't check the price with others. It was fair and pretty much what I had expected.

The team was prompt, finished the job in one day as promised and left the house as clean as it was before the project. Excellent job, would use them again and heartily recommend Louisiana Home Specialists.

It is too early to comment if there is anything that I didn't like, but they seem to be professional. They did a good work. They did everything I wanted them to do. They were professional in doing it. I value people that act professionally.

Darren returned my initial call for an estimate within 24 hrs. and made an appointment. He was professional, honest and competitively priced. He showed up on the day of the job with staff and all the equipment and supplies necessary to complete the job. It took about 3 to 3 1/2 hours and they cleaned up after themselves and were very efficient. I would highly recommend their services.

Darren Gomez and his employees were responsive, fast and friendly. The only issue I had is that there was an area that was to be left alone/undone until an AC duct that needed to be replaced could be repaired. LA Home Spceialists indicated that this area would not be insulated, but that they would return to finish the very small area once the duct was reattached and that the small area could be insulated within 15 minutes When the duct work was to be performed, I was told (I didn't go up there) that all the insulation had been blown into this space afterall, making the duct work much harder to perform. Other than this miscommunication, LA Home Specialists was easy to deal with: professional, helpful, and excluding the actual incident with the air duct, very communicative.
