We met with Elissa Spell, flooring specialist, at Home Depot, who was very helpful in showing us laminate flooring options and carpet. Home Depot, Covington has a great selection of both. Elissa priced out the materials, and Home Depot had a great sale for installation of $39. for all of the carpeting, and $497. for all of the laminate flooring. Also Home Depot provides a 10% discount for active and retire military. Some of the laminate flooring had to be sent from another Home Depot store, and Elissa actually drove there and picked it up for us. We had it in the house in three days. Also the carpeting had to be ordered but came in in 7 days. U.S. Installation Group, USIG, does the installation for this Home Depot. They contacted me within 24 hours to set up the installations, and checked back with me the day before installation, day of, and also followed up as soon as the jobs were completed to make sure that we were satisfied. The installers that USIG used for our jobs were very experienced, did an excellent job of installing the laminate and carpet, and cleaned up the house before departing. Overall excellent jobs.
