Called at 6:45am. Was here at 8:15am! Replaced fuse and weak capacitor. Working fine now. Happy with service. Would hire again.

Dusty's Service came out the same day I called regarding our A/C issue and returned promptly the next morning to complete the repairs. I would definitely refer them to anyone needing A/C repairs or service.

My AC unit was under-performing and the temperature would creep up to 80 by the end of the day, so I contacted Dusty's due to their good reviews. Dusty's Services LLC sent a technician that, after a very short inspection, charged me to change a capacitor and add 2lb's of refrigerant. However, the service did not improve the performance of my AC unit at all. In fact, it felt like it got worse. I subsequently contacted a different AC contractor, who, after inspecting my AC unit, advised that I was still low on refrigerant, and validated his findings by showing me the readouts on his instruments. After the second AC contractor (not Dusty's) added refrigerant, my AC problems went away. I feel like Dusty's was a complete waste of money.

One of the two units in the house was blowing hot air. I sent a message to this business through Angie's List. They are a local business and were rated highly on the list. They called me at my contact number the next business day and came out that afternoon. The unit needed a new capacitor. Their technician replaced it and everything was working in about an hour. I'd use them again.

Dusty came out on a Sunday afternoon. He quickly found which unit was leaking and fixed the problem promptly. I would highly recommend his company.

Workers arrived promptly and their work was very neat and professional.I was in the wholesale side of the HVAC business for over 20 years and have seen a lot of installations. Dusty's people did an excellent job.

They have done some work. They are good, I haven't had problems with them. It was a couple of a hundred dollar bills, it wasn't a whole lot. They were prompt, polite, courteous and they answered all my questions. They left the area spotless.

Dusty was great. I got home on Thursday night around 7:00 p.m., found the house to be hot, AC not working. Called Dusty's Services. After hours at his shop, his phone was answered by voice-mail. I left a message on his voice-mail. Dusty personally called me back within 2 hours. [Responds to after-hours voice-mail!!] Arranged for him to come to the house next (Friday) morning "before noon." On Friday morning, he arrived around 9:00 a.m., worked efficiently and had the system repaired within 1 -1/2 hrs. Great service.

I found water stains on a ceiling and called Dusty. He answered the phone at 7:30 in the AM! A technician was sent to my house the same morning. Called me to say they were on the way. Prompt. Diagnosed the problem with the coil and supply bonnet. It was rather involved and they had to work with past "patch up" jobs. Dusty came out also to help. They explained the situation thoroughly. We had them service the system at the same time and they made two recommendations of which we did. Courteous and professional. Took photos to illustrate issues.

Dusty is great. They are very professional.

On 12-4-14, my a/c quit. I thought it was the thermostat, which I tried to replace with a Nest thermostat. It wouldn?t work because of no power (no common wire came to thermostat). I called Dusty. They came on 12-6. Rewired and installed the Nest thermostat, replace a transformer, and did some other work. They said everything worked fine and left. They promised to come back to do some other work involved in the safety of the A/C. It worked for 12 hours, then stopped working. I called them, and they came back on 12-8. They rewired (2nd time) the thermostat and also completed the other safety work. The unit worked until 3-16. The Nest thermostat had an error message that it was not getting power. Dusty?s crew came out on 3-17. They replaced a transformer (2nd time ? how many transformers are there?), did some more rewiring (3rd time) and said it was fixed. They started to leave, and before they did, I looked at the thermostat and saw that it had the same error message. They had actually prepared and given me a bill for $150, saying that the unit was fixed. As I showed them that it wasn?t, They worked for another hour, then said it was fixed and gave me a bill for $267. This time, it only took me 3 hours to realize that the unit was not fixed ? the condenser was running constantly, whether it was on inside or not. I called Dusty the next morning, and he came out that afternoon (3-18). After working for a couple hours, rewiring the thermostat and outside wires again (4th time) and determined that the problem was the Nest thermostat. He replaced that with a thermostat of his own, and the unit began to work again. The next day I called Nest. Upon their recommendation, I reinstalled the Nest on my own, we went through several diagnostics and determined that Dusty was correct and the Nest was bad. Nest replaced it, I installed it, and the unit is now working correctly. The question remains ? what caused the Nest to go bad? Did it just die? Or did the multiple rewirings have something to do with it? I don?t know the answer. I chose Dusty?s for two reasons. He was listed as a Nest authorized installer, and he had good ratings on Angie?s. But he showed little knowledge of the Nest, even saying he didn?t know a lot about them. Plus, on his visits, he badmouthed Nest thermostats saying several customers had had problems with them. I was a little disappointed that as an authorized installer that he would have that attitude. Although he got everything working at the end, it was not with the thermostat that I had bought, and he had installed. As an alleged authorized Nest Installer, I felt like he went so far and just gave up on the Nest, fixed it like he knew how, and left it at that. I feel like he should have tried harder to get the Nest replaced. Pros: Dusty answered his own phone. He was prompt in coming out. Properly diagnosed the fact that the Nest was bad. Cons: Each time he came out, it required two trips. He did not properly check his work. Not knowledgeable about Nest despite being on their list. (Possibly a Nest problem ? I have contacted them about it.) Overpriced in my opinion, but hard to tell as his bills were not itemized. His 4th visit was no charge (that?s a good thing). $826 total charge for maintenance is almost as much as I paid for the outside unit a couple years ago.

Called Mr. Dusty on Monday morning after realizing A/C problem. Got his name/number from Angies's List books that come to house. Saw he had a wonderful rating and a coupon and decided to call. They came out within 1.5-2 hours after my call. Fantastic Service. Will call them for all my future check ups or maintenance needs.

AC went out after a power outage Saturday evening but did not really realize until Sunday 8/17/14 morning. Called Mr. Dusty when I got to work Monday but could not leave work until 2:45 pm, so I told Mr. Dusty I'd called back and if he could send someone I'd leave work and meet them. I did call back and Mr. Dusty said someone would be out. Two service techs showed up and went right to the outside unit and checked the electrical box and then the outside unit. Also checked the inside unit but found no issue there. Change capacitor and topped refrigerant. Mr. Michael and assistant were very friendly and professional, good folks as my mother use to say. Work took less than an hour. They made sure the house was cooling down before they left. The bill was $304 and with the $25 coupon from Angie's list I actually paid $279. I knew in advance I would be charge a service call of $95. When I told my co-workers of the total bill, they said for a capacitor and refrigerant that an added $209 was somewhat high. ($304 total - $95 service call = $209 for capacitor and refrigerant and any labor included. The bill was not itemized. This is why I rated the cost a B. The one thing I know for sure is that they are reliable! a big plus in my book and I am now a cool cucumber.

Checked compressor unit, cleaned coils, checked operating pressure, replaced leaking evaporator coil and recharged system.

Very professional; estimated time of arrival, said he would call in advance of arriving. Estimate was accurate, he did call prior to arrival. Arrived as expected, quickly diagnosed problem, which was an electrical short not directly related to the AC/Heat system. Provided invoice with detailed description of problem.

I thought the visit went really well. I would definitely recommend him because he was so thorough. I will probably call him when the weather cools down so I can replace the duct work. Also, he came really quick and he kept calling me with an update about when he was going to arrive. He was very considerate in that way.

Super experience. Called Dusty around 7:30 AM and left a message. He responded within 5 minutes and told me he would likely be able to make it to my house around Noon and would call and let me know. He called back at Noon and said he would be here in 30 minutes. He arrived when he said he would, spent about 2 hours working on the problem. Explained everything to me clearly and left me with a working unit.

The charge was reasonable. Good work, and no problems since.

They are punctual. They do a good job and they clean up after themselves. They explain everything they are going to do. I have been satisfied with the work they have done.
