Dan perfomed the inspection in about 3 hours. I met him at the house near the end of his inspection. He was very thorough, professional, and friendly. He was very willing to go over any of the significant issues he found during the inspection and discussed possible solutions or the significance of the issue. He also discovered on his last inspection for me that the home was actually older than it was advertised because the age of the hot water heaters (while in good operating condition) were original and aged the house at least 3 years older than first thought. I was very happy with Dan's work and would use him again.

My Realator connected me with this company with high recommendations. We met at the house I am buying and he performed the inspection then explained in detail all of his findings, as well as recommendations on upkeep of the home. He then emailed my Realator and I the home inspection report, with details and photos, in a timely manor.

We paid Dan to inspect a home prior to purchase. During the exam he did a thorough testing of the walls for moisture and insulation with a special tool. This cost extra even though we did not ask for it. But Worse than that, the report included no results from the findings. Also discovered were faulty outlets, the slop of the floor and leaks in windows, but again the report included none of these findings, only vaugeries. Dan was very polite, and I don't think he had negative intentions, I just think you need to be very clear with him as to what kind of information you want in the report. Also, in hindsight, there are several things wrong with this house that he should have caught. Other professionals come over and see these things right away.

Dan was excellent!! He did a really thorough job! So thorough that we got thousands of dollars off of the purchase price.

Dan was about 2 hours late for the appointment because 2 of his horses got loose and had to caught them. His inspection was very complete. I had do a mold report and a test for heat loss. He found that there was no insulation above the unit.

Dan was referred to me by a co-worker as being a very conscientious home inspector. I was on a very tight schedule and needed the inspection and the report turned in as quickly as possible. I called Dan and he was able to come out on the date that I requested even though I was not able to give him much notice. I asked that he supply me with the finished report within 1 day. Not only did he do a very complete inspection of the home he was also able to furnish me with the report the next day. I had no problems reaching him if I had any questions regarding the inspection. I would definitely use him again.

He arrived, got started immediately on the outside, then worked his way from top to bottom. It was a great experience for me to have experienced the best and know that everyone else is giving you mediocre service.

Dan has done really well. He is competitively priced and willing to work with you. He shows up and works with me on schedule. He does a good job and there are no problems.

Dan inspected multiple homes during our search and provided very detailed and thorough reports which helped us make a much more informed decision. At least two homes that we were VERY interested in, Dan found defects that had not been disclosed and they were deal breakers. I was impressed with not only the timely delivery of the reports but also the technology that he used throughout the inspection to detect things that may have been overlooked by the human eye alone. With his technology he was able to determine, in one home, that there had been previous water damage underneath the newly laid floors and also that there were plumbing issues that would have been extremely expensive to repair. Ultimately, Dan helped us find the perfect home, for us and we have been living here for a couple of years without problems. He was honest, patient and fair in his pricing throughout our search. I would recommend his company to anyone looking to purchase a home!

Very knowledgeable. He was slow and took his time, but I learned quite a bit, and he was not in a rush. He explained everything to me and answered all my questions.

From my past experience ( 3x) with home inspections, I have to rate Dan' Inspection as "top-of-line." Dan and his helper were prompt , cheerful and courteous. Dan was very professional and took his time to review both major and minor findings with both the seller and myself as the buyer, after the inspection. He was very professional when making his presentation and stood behind facts not speculations. Dan was very prompt ( that evening) with his final written report that was detailed with many pictures of both major and minor findings.

Overall my experience with All American Home Inspectors was great. Ken was a half hour late but then he had to come over the causeway during rush hour. He did everything I asked him to do. He also answered all my questions and gave me additional information and help.

Mr. Paradela arrived just a few minutes late, understandable since he was coming from the Northshore and the Causeway Bridge is notorious for delaying anyone's arrival times. He is very genial, courteous, and professional. His inspection of the property began immediately and many photographs were taken. A few minutes after he arrived, a state licensed exterminator showed up as well. The exterminator began inspection under the house and within two minutes returned with a clod of dirt full of Formosan termites. Mr. Paradela also immediately recognized the presence of black mold on and within the walls as well as significant structural damage. Inspection continued throughout the house, under the house, and in the attic. Both he and the exterminator were extremely thorough. Within 36-hours of the inspection, I received a 22-page report complete with many photos. I absolutely recommend Mr. Paradela and All-American without hesitaton.

First, I am a resident of St. Louis MO and had to fly into New Orleans to have my mother's home inspected. I contacted Dan because his company was on Angie's list with a high rating. Traveling from out of town was concerning, as there was little time to reschedule and / or find a replacement inspector if he canceled. My concerns were addressed as Dan scheduled my appointment. He confirmed the day before my flight and offered his cell number in case there were any changes. Dan was very personable and professional. He arrived to the site on time and had his plumbing crew meet him at the job site. He walked through the house with care and listened to all of the questions I had about the house and items needed to be remediated prior to the official inspection. Dan reviewed the home for approximately 3 hours. He provided video of the plumbing and even went into the attic (yuck) and under the house (double yuck). He had a professional contractor come out to complete estimates on the needed repairs (per my request). He summarized and prioritized the repairs, even noting items that needed repairs but could be delayed to a later time. Dan is sincere about his inspections and gave many ideas on how to renovate our house. I would recommend him to anyone who needed an honest home inspection.

Dan Paradela provided great insight about all areas of the house and gave helpful suggestions for addressing minor issues found during the inspection.

Dan was a little late for the appointment but called to let us know. His earlier appointment was in Belle Chasse and ours was in Destrehan. Dan was very thorough and physically pointed out some issues to us as well as documenting them in his printed report. He noticed some roofing issues and recommended getting a roofing professional out there. Dan's catch on the roof resulted in a $10K redcution in sales price.

Mr. Dan Paradela was extremely professional, personable and very knowledgeable. Although we hired him to do a mold inspection only, he gave us a kind of free preliminary house inspection on problems he could easily identify at first glance. He gave us a wealth of information that will probably end up saving us hundreds if not thousands of dollars. He really cares about his customers and wants the best for them. I normally do not write reviews unless I want to warn people about how god aweful someone is. However, we were so impressed with Mr. Paradela that we felt he merited a special, glowing review, just to show our appreciation.

Mr. Dan was great! He noticed the Chinese dry wall in 15 minutes, and was very nice and informative.

Called Dan the day before to set up a mold inspection at our house. Dan was very accommodating and provided the late afternoon appointment I required. We were a bit concerned that we may have had a serious mold issue, but Dan basically held our hand through the process. He did both a visual inspection and a sample collection procedure. He was pretty sure that we did not have a serious problem and kept us calm. He expedited the sample shipment to the lab which confirmed two days later that his initial instinct was correct. While at the house, Dan put on his home inspection hat and pointed out a few other issues we may want to address - at no charge. He is great at his profession and has a very likeable personality. He's got a great "bedside" manner. You can tell that he loves his profession and wants nothing but the best for his customers. Just a great experience for us.

Dan performed an inspection on a home that I was purchasing. He was very thorough with the inspection, personable, and accomodating with regards to scheduling and phone calls. He performed the inspection within 2 days of my phone call and completed the report within 24 hours. I am purchasing several pieces of property and plan to use him for all of my inspections.
