Custom Concrete began in the decorative concrete industry in early 2000. Since that time there have been advancements in application techniques, allowing us to be more creative. We can now create very realistic finishes resembling stone, marble, slate, flagstone and more costing substantially less than natural materials.

David stamped our porches a little over a year ago. We were so impressed we did the front porch too. He had the best price, did excellent work. He is not just a salesman, he actually does the work with his crew. All very nice and professional. We had another contractor who messed up our front porch and we hired David to redo it.
Description of Work: We recently added an outdoor kitchen and wanted to have a nice finish on our porch floor to compliment it.

Dave was great to work with. He came to first appointment timely and provided estimate on the spot. He started work when promised. The workers were all professional. I was comfortable leaving them in my yard all day while I was at work. He secured the yard each day before leaving. They completed the job when promised. Our backyard went through a huge transformation thanks to Dave. I would highly recommend Custom Concrete.

Started by getting three estimates. All were within $200. Custom Concrete LLC was the middle bid. The project presented to the bidders was somewhat simplified in order for the bids to be comparable. Then met with owner (David Roccaforte) again, at my request, to work out the actual job details, schedule, and when payment was required. We settled on rectangular paver stone look for the front walk and large irregular paver stones with a border on the back patio. David was a good listener of our ideas, then made suggestions on how to achieve the effect. Although I had expected the price to rise from the originally bid simplified project, David stuck with that bid. We agreed on 10% to start with the remainder on completion and acceptance by me. I did not need this to be done quickly, but did give David an end date for completion. The work was performed well within the agreed time period. We were very happy with how the front walk turned out. Keep in mind that this is an artistic product in shape, color, and texture, and the result comes from the efforts of the craftsman. That said, we were not happy with the somewhat rougher texture applied to the back patio. We discussed this with David. He explained that other clients had liked this less formal look and he was surprised we didn't care for it. Here's the important point: David fixed the back patio look with no complaint, no delay, and no extra cost. When dealing with artistic products, there will be occasional artistic differences. David responded very professionally to our concern and he leaves us as very satisfied customers. I recommend him and would use him again.
Description of Work: Applied skimcoat of polymer concrete to front walk and large back patio, then designed paver stones, applied stamped forms, stain, and clear sealer. End product was that the patio had the appearance of large flat paving stones with concrete groat.
