Office Depot

They were very customer service savvy. I dealt with this one guy, Jeremy, and he wanted to take my computer in or take it out to the car. I left it with him and it was a Vista. Another company, virtually, had to go and get off a bunch of viruses and this was a built computer. I built it from a manufacturer. It was kind of expensive when I got it. I got it for my daughter to go to school, however she didn't take it to school with her but she played on it and went to all of these sites and it just got all kinds of viruses. It got to the point where it wouldn't even shut down. You had to unplug it for it to get down. Then things just started to disappear. Another service worked on it for days, because I had to go to work. He was virtual. So once he got out of it he couldn't get back in unless someone let him back in. I would be gone, I'd have to come home from work & jump back on it again and they were really good. One of the guys there would be working on it when I'd call back and say I'm here and he'd say okay let me back in and he'd start back to work on it. That went on for about 3 days and we got that done and he said that was as far as he could go because he wasn't here. I said thank you and I paid them. He recommended Office Depot. He said you need to have somebody look at it in my state where you can just run it in and Office Depot is pretty good. So go in there and tell them you've had it cleaned and you need to check it out. So I took it and this guy you could just see he wanted to get his hands on that computer. We don't want to throw it away. I put a lot into this because I built it but we do need to be able to get in it because my daughter wanted to go from the laptop back to the desktop. He said I looked at it and I could probably do something. I said well don't you think you could maybe override what's on it and then maybe take the hard drive out. He said let me just get my hands on it, so I left it. The next day he called me and said come and get your computer it's ready. That's how it went. It turned out to be good. The price he told me was $99 and it was $99. We went from a Vista to Windows 10. I did a write-up on him. I wanted to commend him and so I called his office and they said go on to their website and you can do that and then post it, so I did. I told him I was going to do it so I asked him what his name is, and he said just say Jeremy. I think this service should recommended and be commended. Sometimes you get people say they can do something and they get it and mess it up worse for you. Or they don’t know what they are doing and then they charge you because they didn’t know what they were doing. I was really happy. She got the computer and hooked it up and it worked. On responsiveness I didn’t have to fuss with the people that were out of town. When I got back in and called them, we had to go back through all of that to get another code so he could get in. He would say let me get the tech and that guy would come on and they would just get started. They didn’t say listen we’ve worked on this for 4 days. He just said okay let me see what he was doing because the fellow from the day before or the hour before was doing something else. They would close at 6; I'm central and they're eastern. That would mean they're going to have to start it back over the next day. Nobody fussed. If they did, I didn't hear it. That to me is good customer service. When he was told to get over there and help that lady; he did it.
