Dupuis Htg & Air Conditioning

This company did the installation of the central AC system in a spec home I purchased in 2005. The heating and cooling systems have never worked properly. There are 3 units in the home. There is a 4 ton and a 2.5 ton down stairs and a 2 ton upstairs. The cooling line for the upstairs unit was placed in the incorrect location. This resulted in the line being damaged when the dry wall was installed. The upstairs is always warm and the AC runs constantly because it is under sized. We had another contractor repair the units in 2006. At the time we learned that all of the R21 had leaked from all three units because there were valves that were not completely tightened which allowed the coolant to escape. The 4 ton unit has had 3 blower fans burn out because the intake duct is too small. The most recent mistake we discover involved the condensation pan on one of the units. A drain pipe was never connected and the pan overflowed and leaked through the ceiling below. Unless you enjoy being hot and spending money to correct mistakes avoid this company.
