He was late every time and his work was poor.

Todd started the job late and continued to show up late throughout the job. Due to the quality of his work and relationship he created with our tenants we had to terminate the job early. We paid half up front and he insisted on getting paid for the rest of the job (that he did not finish). He was rude and threatening on the phone and completely unprofessional. I would stay clear of this man and his business.

The work was started on Monday and nearly completed by Thursday (the only things remaining after this time were small, such as putting pieces of the window blinds back on). Todd showed up on time the first day. I had worked with him on a project before and gave him access to the house to come and go as needed. I trusted him to do this and he did not disappoint. He was there working hard each day, sometimes as late as 9 PM and all of my belongings were as I had left them at the end of each day. I discussed with him up front the paint colors and types of paint I wanted and he purchased the paint for the job. His estimate on the amount of paint needed was spot on - when the job was finished he had very little left over so there was no waste in paint cost. He also supplied me with a small can of touch up paint. He took care to cover the furniture and floors with plastic and drop cloths as well as put all of the furniture back where it belonged. I only had to make minimal adjustments to replacing the furniture when he was finished just to make it suit my liking. I assisted him with moving one large piece of furniture and it hit the wall when we were moving it but he quickly patched and painted over the blemish on the wall. Todd was careful to do 2 coats of paint on the walls and he said he always does that, even if it is not a color change. His attention to detail was noticeable - there wasn't paint left on the floors or furniture and the walls and trim all had even lines and thick coats of paint. He even did some extra things such as caulk around doors and in the corners of walls to make the application smoother. When the job was going on and when it was over he asked for my feedback and was quick to correct anything I noticed.
