 + -1 moreKarl Handy arrived a bit early and was totally finished by our assigned appointment. He was very professional, knowledgable, friendly and courteous. I think he even went above and beyond because not only did he clean our chimney but he also repaired the cracks in the bricks at no extra charge. There was no extra cleanup for me when he was finished. He did it all! The whole process took less than an hour. I would recommend him to everyone
Description of Work: "The Handy" came in, inspected the chimney, then retrieved his equipment from his van. He was very professional in that he was concerned about his machine wheels leaving tracks in the house. He wiped the wheels and other equipment down before bringing everything in. He then proceeded to lay down a big dropcloth in front of the fireplace to catch any soot and dust as he cleaned. The whole process was quick. He used a brush with several extenders to clean the whole chimney (and we have an extra tall one). He kept scrubbing till no dust fell from the stack. He then proceeded to sweep all of the dust up into a bucket, scrubbed the bricks inside the fireplace and then repaired several cracks in the bricks. When he finished, he vacumed all remaining particles in the door track and on the screens. He left the whole area better than he found it. I thought he did a great job, and would recommend him to anyone. He made the whole process painless. We were worried that we would need a lot of repair work done. It helps to have someone who knows what he is doing to set your mind at ease!

 + -1 moreThe company is a one man operation. The man was here when he said that he would be. He was courteous, friendly, knowledgeable, and well prepared. He offered information and made appropriate suggestions. He was not rushed but finished his work in a timely manner.

 + -1 moreThere was a team of 2 men. They arrived right on time, they worked separately; one outside did the outer inspection and the other one did the cleaning and inner inspection on the chimney. Very quick and efficient.
