+ -1 moreWe were having trouble with a bad first appraisal company who mistakenly required us to have an inspection of some electrical repairs and the foundation. I called Darren Montgomery at Red River, and he spent a lot of time brainstorming how to get us what the mortgage company needed with the least cost and trouble to us. Ultimately, he recommended that we and quot;skip the middlemanand quot; and go straight to the engineer, and if that wasn't enough, he'd be happy to come back and write us a letter for a fraction of what an actual inspection would cost, since technically we didn't even need one. He ended up saving us hundreds of dollars. We were so impressed by his willingness to forgo a paying job to help us save time and money, that we will definitely use him the next time we need a real inspection done. You don't find integrity like his much any more!
Description of Work: Referred us to an engineer after he realized he could save us money that way!

+ -1 moreThis was spectacular experience for me!! I wouldnot only recommend them to EVERYONE, but we would most definitely use their services again. This changed my whole perception about the house buying process. It was great working with someone that understands how houses are built and can explain things to you (major and minor issues in in layman terms) it makes you feel very comfortable with the process because you know what you are getting. Thank you Red River Home Inspection Team!!!
Description of Work: We moved to Bossier City almost a year ago and recently decided to purchase a home in the area. I will start off by letting you know that "I am a very picky person" in the respect that I am very detailed oriented and I expect individuals that I am working with to be detailed, professional, prompt, and courteous - and he was all that.... and more. I don't give out straight A's across the board to anyone, UNLESS you deserve it and they DESERVED it. On a personal basis, I don't know anyone from Red River Home Inspection, but I will let you know that they did a phenomenal job on the inspection of our new home. Yes, I could have gone with another vendor that was cheaper, BUT I wanted to know everything about this house and I feel comfortable saying that I now know it. I needed to be 100% sure that we knew all the issues (major or minor) about this house because I didn't want anything to come back and "bite" my family after the sales process was complete. We not only received a 14 page Summary, BUT we also received an 84 page Complete Report (with detailed information AND pictures). He was on the property 2 hours prior to our arrival and by the time we arrived (with our Realtor) he was able to give us detailed information about the property thereby alleviating all concerns we had with the property. Again, I know you can choose to use another vendor, BUT with your house being the biggest purchase you will ever make it's best to make sure you go to the BEST in the business and in Lousisian - Red River Inspection is just that......TOP NOTCH!!!
