This is the second time I have used AAA Locksmith Services and as before I am very pleased with their services. I will certainly use them again in the future.

Mr. Spears and an assistant came to my house to re-key the locks on my new house. I wanted them all keyed the same, so would only need one key. But one of the doorknobs was a different brand than the others so it could not use the same key. Mr. Spears informed me that a matching doorknob would be a special order, would cost $63, and he would return in 10 days or so to install it. I agreed, and paid in full up front. When I called him 2 weeks later to inquire about the knob, it was obvious he had forgotten about it. After several more phone calls, he finally arrived SIX WEEKS later with a doorknob that did not in any way resemble all the others in my house. He said the company, Weiser, was out of business and that was the only knob available. But I wasn't buying it, and told him I wouldn't accept it. He wasn't happy but agreed to refund the $63 for the doorknob, and the $10 re-key fee for that knob. But when I had not received a refund check a week later, I called him. He was very rude and informed me that he would refund my money only AFTER he had received a refund for the returned doorknob to Weiser, and he had not gotten around to that yet. So now I have sent him a demand letter trying to get my money back - if he does not pay me within a few days I will file charges against him for theft. In addition to his stalling, bringing the wrong item, and refusing to refund my money, his appearance and demeanor the last time he was at my house was very disturbing. He was so hyper and jittery I couldn't even carry on a conversation with him, his hair and clothing were disheveled, and he had dark circles under his eyes. I was uncomfortable with him having a key to my house, so I had all the locks changed again. I also found the exact doorknob I needed online for $35 and received it in under a week. He also advertises on several websites, under several company names, and claims that he has been a locksmith for 20 years. But I recently met the man who trained him just 5 years ago.

Vendor and helper arrived on time and proceeded to rekey locks. One of the door knobs good not be rekeyed; so a new door nob was needed. Vendor sent helper next day to replace door nob w/lock as he did not have one with him. I was pleased with the work done and recommended him to my Mother who had AAA rekey her locks.

Great! He came by, diagnosed our problems (two different problems), ordered the new stuff, and when it came in, two days later, he installed them, making little adjustments, and then made us ten keys. They work well now. These are two problem old doors, in a problem-ridden but fun old house. It's up on piers, and so in the rainy season it all leans one way, and in the dry season, things lean back the other way. The locks end up either beating themselves to death on the receiving door plates, if they're cheap, or simply not moving, if they're heavy-duty. Ours had been cheap, and the back door one froze so that I couldn't remove the key. We replaced them with heavy duty ones, and are adjusting the receiving plates a bit, so this doesn't keep happening. Kevin (the owner) and his son were very pleasant and knowledgeable, and like the antique fixtures as much as I do. They took the time to do the little checking and adjustments. You can tell when someone owns the business! They take care of their customers. (He also likes dogs!)

He even fixed a doorknob that wouldn't latch properly. I was pleased with his work.

****NEW UPDATE**** Unfortunately, within a week the lock installed by Kevin stopped working and I was left without a secure way to lock my home. I called Kevin, who was rather surly and told me - at first - he was busy and would "try to get out here sometime this week". I insisted the lock be fixed quickly, and he said he'd be out the next day. A young man (late teens/early twenties) showed up the next afternoon, saying Kevin sent him to fix my lock. He was too young to be bonded and, in any case, didn't offer any credentials - but I had no choice. When I called Kevin to confirm this kid was really here and had the skills to fix the lock - I couldn't reach him..........ever again. Additionally, a woman working with me in the house said that she had paid less than half the price for a proper heavy duty door lock. I won't be calling Kevin again. ***************************************************************************************************************************************** This is the locksmith you want to call! Kevin worked with my changing schedule, changed my lock quickly and charged a fair price. No drama; no hidden fees - just good professional work. Not only that, when Kevin saw the condition my home had been left in, and my reaction - he jumped on the phone on the spot and located some help for me. The gentleman he called came right away. Kevin AND John (the help Kevin called) have also told me they've rounded up additional assistance. I really don't know what I would have done otherwise. To put it as Kevin did...God put me in their path today for a reason and I couldn't be more grateful.

Owner and associate arrived timely, completed the job, were very courteous and charged a fair price for the work of re-keying 13 locks on a home and providing five keys to the re-keyed locks. The work took approximately 1 hour and 10 mintues. I would use AAA again and would recommend them to others.

After rescheduling this job a couple of times, Kevin was very accommodating to my schedule. The communication between the company and me showed great customer service. Kevin called several times and even sent me text messages when new times had to be confirmed. They showed up and got right to work and completed the job to my expectations.

The work was done quickly and no damage to the window or door frame of the truck. Very professional job. Kevin was quite pleasant. He estimated he would be here in an hour but he arrived here in 30 minutes. He called me to let me know he was going to be early, then again right before his arrival. Very courteous individual. He works by himself.
