Bautista's LLC

I would like to lodge a formal review and complaint against Willie Bautista and his company Bautistas LLC for stealing personal property from our front porch. On July 1st, my wife and I were wrongfully evicted from the duplex that we lived in since March 2011. My mother in law lived on one side and we lived on the other side of the duplex. We had some belongings on the front porch under a tarp. The landlord knew we had stuff sitting on the porch and he was fine with that since we were helping my mother in law move. The landlord had multiple people from different trades walk on the porch and nobody touched or took anything. Willie’s employees were hauling the trash away from the backyard for a couple of days. They also removed a pile of plants that we dug up with trash that was sitting right next to the porch and they did not touch anything until the last day they were there on July 18, 2024. Willie’s crew was hauling trash away and brining in new dirt to lay in the yard. Willie and his employees saw my wife and I going by the stuff on the porch for numerous days and could clearly tell it was not trash. My wife and I walked out my mother in laws front door and notice every single thing that was on the porch was gone. My wife and I noticed the owner Willie driving a skid steer in the front yard. We walked up to Willie and asked him what happened to all of our stuff? Willie looked at my wife and I and literally started laughing. He then said, “weren’t ya’ll evicted so why does it matter to ya’ll?” Willie does not know my wife nor myself and does not know anything about us. We asked him again where was all of the stuff that was on the porch covered up under a tarp? Willie looked at my wife and I and said, “your stuff is in the dump because it was trash.” He then continued to laugh and said, “call Mr.Ray the landlord because he is the one who told me to throw everything on the porch away and that it wasn’t his problem.” That is when Willie started to get offended and told my wife and I “ya’ll must not know who I am or who I know do ya’ll?” We took that as a threat because that’s exactly what he was trying to do. He was trying to intimidate us by saying the landlord was coming kick us off the property and by saying he will have me arrested for no reason. As soon as i called 911, speaking with the dispatcher Willie said he’s calling the landlord to kick us off the property immediately. He then tells us since ya’ll have been evicted good luck finding a place to sleep. That is when Willie called the landlord Ray Cummings and told him, “he needed him to come over immediately to handle these people that he evicted” and he then told the landlord, “I want you to have them both removed from the property now.” Willie then tried to provoke me to say or do something just to get me in trouble. Willie continued to laugh and repeatedly said, “Mr. Ray is coming kick ya’ll both off the property” He made a comment that he would have me arrested! Shortly after a police officer arrived but it was not one of the police that 911 dispatched instead it was his buddy that he called who is a police officer. His friend police officer showed up and Willie immediately started lying about me and wanted me to be arrested! When it was just Willie and his friend police officer there i decided to go Inside since Willie was trying to have me arrested for no reason! That is when my mother in law went outside and stayed with my wife while we waited on the police who were actually dispatched to arrive. Moments later the landlord Ray Cummings arrived. Ray stated that he told Willie’ “do not throw anything on the porch away and that he was not kicking us off the property.” He then said, “well I thought it was trash!” The next day as we were loading the U-HAUL truck he returned the lawnmower with a broken wheel, a chair that was broken and one piece of furniture and then said, “no hard feelings!” That is not acceptable. You do not just throw someone’s belongings away especially when he was told not to do so. Again, this guy and his crew stole all of the stuff off of the porch and clearly lied to us by saying the landlord told him to do so. Willie Bautista and his crew are THIEVES, LIARS, and TERRIBLE PEOPLE.

I used Bautista's from February 2015 to December 30th 2015. I had minimal problems with the crew at Bautista's (they used round up in areas I specifically asked not to use it, they would cut the grass during or right after a rain and cause ruts of mud in the yard killing the grass in that area). Willie, the owner, always corrected the problems promptly and professionally. But beginning the week of Thanksgiving bigger problems began. The crew showed up on different days than usual without notifying me hence they could not enter my backyard because I keep it locked and only open it the morning of their weekly visit. I asked that they notify me if there is a change so that I can make sure I unlock the gate but it continued to happen. My backyard did not get any service on those occasions. The crew, I guess angry with me since I had called the owner, on their next visit left the backyard gate wide open. They usually pushed it closed. My Yorkies got out and one was almost hit by a car. If my neighbor would not have seen the dogs and informed me this could have ended in tragedy for my family. I have security cameras and have seen them use the blower to blow large leaves from my neighbor's maple tree INTO my garden instead of picking the leaves up. I believe the owner has good intentions but he is not in control of his grass cutters.

They come on a regular basis. They are pretty up-to-date with their work and make sure nothing can get out of control. I will continue to use this provider again in the future.
