Window World of Baton Rouge

Job went well. Window world sales man showed up and measured and explained everything to us. A few weeks later one man crew showed up with 15 windows in his truck and knocked it out and did a fantastic finish job and cleaned up after himself. Zero complaints and would recommend to anyone. 6 hours/ 15 windows/one man/ great job

We got 20 windows with the vinyl wrap. the windows look great. But who ever done the caulking done a very horrible job. They sent people to fix it, several times but they didnt know what they were doing. Made it worst.

They did not finish but charged me. One window is separated. One window wood exposed. Some don't lock. Some missing caulk. They keep saying they are coming. They give me a time and don't show up. I'm worried about the safety of the windows and water damage to my home

The sales rep was friendly and knowledgeable. When the windows arrived, the installation crew were so superb! I am impressed with the high quality of the windows and the amazing look.

The salesman Chandler Green as well as the installers were very professional. The work was done as promised and I highly recommend Window World of Baton Rouge. The installers Ricardo and his crew removed all trash when the job was completed.

This is my second job with Window World. I did my home 2 years ago with Dan and was very pleased. So I call Dan and he advised he retired and connected me with Per, Who handle my mother's home from selections to insulation with no problem. Great, really quick and professional

I had 17 windows installed by Windows World. The quality of the windows appears excellent. Installation was accomplished by crew of 4 over about 6 hours. Installation went well and windows appear to be well installed. One concern is that the caulk lines are wide in some windows and may indicate small measurement errors. When installing replacement windows into fully brick home, the replacement window must fit into the smallest dimension. This also may explain some but not all of these wider than expected caulk lines. My biggest concerns with job are easily fixed by Windows World with better training of the installation crew. On demolition of old spec house aluminum windows, a torch is used to loosen the tarry adhesive used in these windows. If care it not taken this tarry material can be splattered on drywall surfaces near the window as the glass and frame are removed. This stuff is very diffidult remove from any surface it lands on. The clean up after the job needs to be improved. It was not terrible but could have been great if crew spent an extra 15 minutes. Some areas were not well swept up. After the job is complete, the crew should remove the three big labels on each of the windows. I asked for this to be done but it was lost in translation so I did it myself. Also and finally, the last step a window installation crew should do before leaving the site is to clean each and every window inside and out to remove caulk, grease, old window tar, sweat, etc that are inevitable parts of this type of project. It was a big hassle to do this after the fact particularly after spending thousands for the installation. I think many and perhaps all these issues were related to the fact the this job was large and 2 more jobs were still scheduled for this crew that day. So overall I am satified with the project and would still recommend WW but I hope the local Windows World of Baton Rouge francise does read this review and will make some simple upgrades to the training of their installation crews. In anycase new Windows World clients should be aware of these issues and be prepared to closely manage the installation phase of the project and make sure you are are fully satisified before letting the crew offsite.

It went very well. The crew arrived at exactly the time i had been told and they worked very efficiently and were very professional and competent.

They did a excellent job. From salesman to front office thru installation and price. I couldn't be any more satisfied. The installers came on time, cleaned up after job was completed. I had very little paint touch to do afterwards. The price was way below the lowest bid. I highly recommend Window World!!!

Awful, a comedy of errors. They asked for a down payment of 50%, then charged my credit card twice for the whole charge. I had to call them to get 1/2 the charge back. The windows were delivered in a couple weeks. 1 of the 3 windows was incorrect, not what I ordered. A few weeks later, they called and said the corrected order would be delivered on July 5, 1.5 weeks in the future. July 5 came, and no window arrived. Late in the afternoon, I called both the salesman and the office and asked where my window was, and when would it be installed. They both said, we'll call you back. They didn't call back. I called them both 2 days later again, their response was, we will call you back. I waited over the weekend, and called on Monday, and asked where my window was, and the person I talked to said it would be delivered on Friday. I also asked to speak to a member of management, and the response was, "we'll call you back." The window came on Friday and was installed. While they were cleaning up, they sent the one member of the crew who spoke virtually no English and asked for payment. I told him I would pay him the next week, AFTER a member of management called me. He didn't understand, and got someone who actually spoke English. I told him I wanted to speak to a member of management before I paid, and I also told him SPECIFICALLY do NOT charge the credit card they had on file because it was already over my limit. The next business day, they charged my credit card. I disputed the charge before it ever hit. Several days later the Production Operations Manager called me with an attitude and asked me how he could help me. Like 4 times after I told him I wanted to know what happened for me to not get my window. He finally admitted that they had not done their job. Then I said fine, I did your job for you in getting my window scheduled - I might still not have it had I not called my salesman and the office at least 7 times. I asked for a partial refund. He said they don't give refunds. I asked to speak to his boss, and he said he wouldn't give my a refund either. Then he said I was being ugly and playing games and he hung up on me. I assure you, I wasn't playing games. I really do think I deserve compensation for doing their job. I've since sent them a check for the balance to the orders with a brief review of my experience. I don't I'll ever hear back from them, but If I do, I'll update the review. Update It's rather interesting that I'm complaining about you never returning my calls, and your response is to call you. If you were really that interested in me as a customer, I would think that YOU would call ME. I'm rarely not by my phone. You've never once called me when I wasn't home. I've called you over a dozen times for services that should have required only 1 call on my part.

Very good. They showed up when they sad they would. They did a good job of picking up after themselves.

They can't do everything they advertise. They should be able to custom make the large windows. They couldn't do the window in the front. We priced around, and I could have gotten a much better window from another company but it would cost me a lot more money and it wasn't worth this house.

Gil and his crew were great. They removed all the normal windows and installed new ones quickly and they looked beautiful. The small master bath window (18" x 44") custom rain drop style came ot the box broken. They had not removed the old window so no problem there. A new window was ordered. When the new window arrived, it was installed poorly. Informed installer and Window World.Lack of trim, could see caulking. Window World worked with us until we were happy. Gil came out and finished it up today. 11/11/15.

Great experience. Salesman, Jason Segreti, defined exactly what, where and when to expect installation. Mr. Segreti follow up throughout the process, providing me with timely update. The installing process was also excellent. A team of five installers, lead by Mr. Agamino, were extremely efficient in their efforts. Clean up was also very good and appreciate, Considering the warranty offered by Window World, this total experience was outstanding.

We bid the work to 3 different installers and Window World was much less. We were able to get 5 widows for less than the other installers wanted for 4 windows. However, getting the work scheduled took too much effort on our part. Once the windows were delivered to their warehouse, we received an email that someone would now call us to schedule the work. After waiting several days and no one had called yet, I did what the email suggested. Namely, I called them and scheduled the work. According to their advertisement, they were supposed to call us between 8 and 9am on the scheduled day to give us a time of arrival. No call came until about noon. They apologized and said that the rain had delayed them and they could come out about 3:00pm. They didn?t show up at all that day. So I called the next day and the day after without getting a response. The weekend came and went and still no call back. So I tried again and finally spoke with someone who said they wouldn?t be able to come out for another 3-4 days. It was obvious at that point, since we only had 5 windows, that our work was being used as fill-in. I resorted to threatening cancellation and was able to get the work scheduled for the next day. This time they called ahead and gave us a time frame that they met. The installation went relatively smoothly. The installers were quick, cooperative and communicated well. After they left, I did a closer examination of the outside work area. I found the wood framing had some minor damage which I had to repaint. Also, there were a few minor areas where the caulking could?ve been more thorough and I will need to correct. But, all in all, I got what I expected; but not what I had hoped for.

PERFECT!!! The entire experience was wonderful. I knew from the start to choose Window World because 4 of my coworkers had used them. They have the best warranty and service of anyone in the area. However, I am a price shopper so I called out two other window companies. Having 3 window companies out for estimates was cumbersome due to the fact that the other salesmen were very pushy which is a huge turn off to me. The other two local window companies charged over $1200 more than Window World and didn't have as good of warranty or service! When we scheduled our appointment the ladies in the front office were very friendly and helpful. Mr. Jacob was our salesman. He was very courteous and was never pushy. We felt very comfortable with Jacob in our home. Jacob was knowledgeable and explained all the window options. It took three weeks for the windows to be installed. Our installation crew was Mr. Rick. He did an excellent job installing our new windows and cleaning up. The install was completed in one day. Our home now looks better, is quiter and is much more comfortable. Its been two months and we already see a big difference in our heating bill!! Don't waste you time with anyone else. Window World is the best choice and I will gladly recommend them.

The factory made one window about 10" too short, so it had to be reordered requiring another month to get it in and installed. The installer grossly under-estimated how long it would take to rip out the old windows and install the new ones, so they were caulking after dark. They did tell me that if I noticed problems with the caulking job they come and redo the it. They did recaulk all of the windows when they finally installed the last window. I was horrified by the mess the mess they made when they ripped out the old windows and storm windows, however, the did a great job of cleaning up. All in all I was pleased with their work.

Once they arrived the installation went well. However, they were late and they didn't call to say they would be late. They did apologize. From the salesman to the installers they were very knowledgeable. The windows look awesome.
