The first job was $215 after the supplier and manufacturer paid $300 toward the inspection and repair. The second job was $670. That one kinda hurt but it was August; They came right out, and I felt very comfortable with the abilities of the tech they sent as I had met him before. I would definitely hire Tiger Air again.
Description of Work: Tiger Air was actually selected by the air condition supply company that provided our A/C system. The system was installed by a different AC company (Not Tiger Air). We had high humidity that the two new A/C units couldn't bring down. I checked the wiring and noticed that the original installer had wired it wrong. (The wiring diagram was in the manual and easy to follow). The AC company that installed our systems (Not Tiger Air) had miswired our high efficiency unit, setting the 2 stage A/C unit as a single-stage heat pump. Yeah, not good. That's why the supplier and manufacturer offered to pay $300 toward the inspection. Byron from Tiger Air came out and, although he had to fix someone else's mess, rewired the system and got our AC units working great. I had to get Tiger Air out for a different issue, when a brazed fitting leaked coolant (a manufacturing error). Again, Byron came out and did a quality job. He was very respectful. I could tell he knows his job very well. The price was reasonable to maybe slightly high, but the alternative was to have the original installer from the other side of the river come out. I wasn't going to risk it. Sometimes you get what you pay for.

Technician was prompt courteous, and effected the necessary repairs. The only problem is he repaired the transformer on the condenser in the attic, and cut the system back on without ever going out to check if the outside unit was working. So we had air blowing on the inside but never would cool. My wife went out and noticed the compressor outside wasn't blowing and was making a humming sound. So I called him back and he apologized profusely, came right back and changed the compressor blower motor.. I didnt really care that much but I'm just going to report the facts. So the end of the day I was charged $750 on a Saturday for a new transformer, and compressor motor, and 1.5-2 hrs of labor I don't know if that's expensive but it seemed like it might be

Unfortunately, over the six months since the install, we've had some problems with the system. TigerAir has been excellent in responding to these problems and standing behind their product. They've been attentive and excellent in their response anytime we've had to call them.
Description of Work: We purchased a new a/c system the end of March 2013.

They have a very good plan where they come twice a year for a certain amount of money to completely check the heating and air-conditioning unit. They also give me 10% off on parts. I think that they are absolutely excellent. They are great at what they do. Their technician, Byron who usually comes out to my house from Tiger Air Conditioning Svc Company is particularly good.
Description of Work: I last used Tiger Air Conditioning Svc Company about a week ago for a maintenance check service for my heating unit.
