We chose Beau Maginnis over two other agents that I interviewed. Our reasons were that he showed up for the initial interview with a tape measure to get a firsthand estimate of the house size, that he has a background in construction, and that his estimate of the value of the house was significantly higher than the other two agents. The house had some ceiling damage from a leaky roof (the roof had already been repaired). There was also a ceiling crack in one location - we didn't know if it was structural or what. With his construction background, he was able to assess and explain the ceiling issues. In fact, we opted to have Beau use the construction arm of his firm to do the repairs needed to satisfy the buyer's lender. He had that work completed quickly, well, and at a good price. The house sold quickly, for the price he recommended, and without any hiccups. Beau is a true professional and is very easy to work with - we would definitely use him again!
