Absolutely 100% would use and suggest using Precision for any and all garage door needs. Punctual, knowledgeable and detailed. I never would have known the amount of degrade on my 18yr old hardware without Windsor our technician.

The technician arrived within the two hour window that I was given and replaced my garage door springs with no problems. The garage door works fine now. The price was higher than I expected. They charged $250 for the two springs (0.218 x 24" with 10,000 cycles). Try finding a similar pair of springs online for more than $100. I was also charged $60 for a tune up special; I was not asked if I wanted this service. Lesson learned: I should have asked about their pricing in advance. I was short on time to schedule the repair, but it probably cost me more than $100.

I called the Baton Rouge number for Precision to ask how much it costs to replace a garage door spring. I was told there would be a $50 callout fee which also included a thorough safety inspection, plus $85 - $165 depending on what type of spring I wanted. When the person arrived, he looked at the garage door for a few minutes, told me that the system could not be repaired and had to be converted over to a different type, and quoted two options from $500 - $688. I told him I’d prefer to get quotes from others first. He then told me I had to pay the $50 callout fee. Now I was fine with this fee if, in the end, I’d get a repaired garage, but this was $50 for nothing! I explained to him that I was told a much different price over the phone. He said that the call center got it wrong. He was sympathetic with me and contacted his boss to see if the callout fee could be waived. They would not, so I was out the $50 for nothing. I then called 3 other companies, which all quoted within the range of $300-$400, showing that the Precision business model is probably based on this bait and switch maneuver where the customer pays the higher cost because they’ve already invested $50. Also, NONE of the others charged a callout fee and offered free estimates. And one other tidbit, they cashed the check in the same day, which is not typical for other repair companies we have used. Stay far away from these guys!

They came out the same day we called them and were able to complete all the work the same day. They were very professional and took the time to explain all of the working details to us. They even programmed the garage door opener button in our 2 cars! The door is unbelievably quiet now. We would definitely use them again!

Very quick and smooth operation. I got a phone call as soon as I made the request. The technician arrived first thing in the morning with everything he needed for the job. The work took about an hour.

Our garage door got hung up and then "jumped off" it tracks. It was hanging half off the tracks and I was terrified it was going to fall or be damaged beyond repair... It was a huge mess! I called at 7:40 PM on a Friday night (of course it would happen on a Friday night!) and they gave me an appointment for the next morning at 10 AM. The technician, Joshua, was prompt and courteous and he did excellent work. He replaced the tension cables on each side of the door, put the door back on its tracks and lubricated all the moving parts. It now operates like a brand-new door -- super quiet and smooth. I am extremely impressed and SO glad I called this company!

Called on a Monday and they were able to stop by that afternoon to give me an estimate. Door was installed on that Thursday and works just great!!

They're very good. They've come out several times. We had difficulty diagnosing my issue, and this was over July and August. They've been out a total of four times trying to correct my problems and only charged me for the first time. I ended up having to have a new motor for my garage door, and they credited me with all the other things they'd changed out. I paid a little bit for one change-out and then we found out it was really the door, so they only charged me for the difference in what I already paid. They're excellent. These people are really good. I found their prices were very reasonable. I've had people come out and look at my garage door in the past. I'm in a twenty year old house, so I've had other issues, and so I would give them an A. The thing that I liked about them was that they didn't charge me for every service and everything they did. They pro-rated everything so that in the end, even though they came out four times, the only thing I paid for was a new garage door opener. They could have charged me for changing out the sensors and changing out the plate and giving me new clickers and everything, and they didn't. So, I liked that.

Precision Door did a good job for me. They were a little higher priced than I expected but they were very responsive, professional, and clearly knew what they were doing. The tech arrived on time, conducted a survey, and offered options and estimated costs associated with each option. After agreement on the option I wanted the tech got to work and fixed my door. I have no complaints about their workmanship and service and would use them again should I have a problem in the future.

Outstanding. I called Monday afternoon and they came Tuesday morning. On time and called on the way to let me know. Found and corrected problem, did an overall check, cleaned and luubicated. One of the best service experiences I have ever had.

Precision did a great job. I called them in the morning and the garage door opener was installed later that day. The manager and service technician were very courteous and informative about the products and services. I would definitely recommend this company.

Overall, outstanding...there was even a significant issue in their service, and they made that right, too. They provided me a 2 hour arrival window, and showed up right on time at the beginning of the window. The technician called me 30 minutes before arrival to say he was en route, and when he arrived and completed his inspection, he walked me through the issues, potential issues, and then articulated clear options. He went right to work and was done within an hour with everything working beautifully, allowing me to go back to work. When I returned from home, I couldn't close the garage door - one of the cables had clearly slipped off the pulley, and we were leaving for a dinner event. I called Precision Door, and to their credit (as it was their mistake), the same technician came back long after hours to fix the issue. The tech texted me to let me know when it was completed, and he'd verified the issue was right. Even with the hitch in service, they were consummate professionals - easy to work with, easy to schedule, prompt, friendly, and when they made a mistake, they immediately made it right. Terrific team and great service.

Our garage door came off the track around 9:00 PM. I called their 800 number, and was immediately set up with an appointment for a technician to come out between 8-10 the next morning. At 7:45 the next day, the tech called to inform me that he was 15 minutes away. He showed up on time, accessed the situation, gave me two options to correct the problem. Discussed the pros and cons of each option. We made a decision on which path to take and he immediately started working. Told me it would take around 2 hours to complete the job. About 1 1/2 hours later he was knocking on the door that he was finished and wanted me to come take a look at everything. He explained what he did and how it would help the performance of the door. He was extremely professional. I would highly recommend.
