Marnix Htg & Cooling

I haven't seen him a while but I trust him to know where my key is, come and do whatever he has to do. I have used him for years because he is wonderful. I have recommended him to people. I trust him totally. His price is always fair. Sometimes he comes and doesn't even charge me. Sometimes he comes on Sunday night.

Biggest problem was getting access to the AC unit. A new roof was recently installed on the building with an eight inch wide gutter that runs completely around the building. A roof hatch was installed for access to the roof , but access from inside the building has not yet been completed. The technician had to use a ladder on the outside of the building, but could not put it against the gutter since that would bend or crush the gutter. The ladder was several feet below the gutter, and he had to climb onto the roof without using the gutter as leverage. Not exactly sure how he made it, but he did. Coming back down was also dificult because he could not see the ladder because of the gutter. The problem turned out to be a control wire from the thermostat to the compressor unit. The service call took about 30 minutes total. Although the reapir was simple, the service tech went above and beyond the call of duty to access the unit on the roof. I would not have blamed him if he had refused to take the job. This was a unit at my church where I am a pastor, and we have used Marnix for about ten years. Marnix is one of the few firms in Baton Rouge that handles both large commercial chiller systems and conventional AC systems. I also use Marnix for my home system, and highly recommend them to all my friends and family. Their pricing is very fair, their work is first-rate and professional, and their response time is very good.

The experience was very convenient. We are very pleased with it.
