Darrel and his crew were a very sharp crew. They showed up at 9am as they stated and worked diligently until every branch was in one neatly stacked pile. As you know tree trimming is pricy but remember you get what you pay for. Darryl was reasonable and insured and he took care of my property with a fair hand shake deal. They will be back in the summer to remove two large pine trees, I'll let everyone know how they do.

The staff was courteous but I was not completely satisfied. What we discussed beforehand was not quite completely finished. There was one large tree that was not shaped at all. I didn't discover this until i came back from being out of town. I tried calling and left messages with no response. Certainly a different scenario than before when this company was trying to get hired for my job. I would not use them again.

I decided the price was way to high for my budget and also they did not have worker's compensation insurance in case one of their employees was injured on my property while doing the work.

Overall, they were flexible and easy to work with. We ended up rescheduling our first appointment to the next day after they got held up at another job, but they came and got everything done during the day while I was at work. They removed everything we'd talked about and cleared out all the branches and leaves from the yard. A good job!

Total process went well.

While driving, I saw a pickup truck advertising "Hayes Tree Service" because I needed to have a tree cut down and stump grinded, and other trees trimmed. I contacted the company by telephone a few days later and made an appointment to have its representative come to my home to give an estimate for services. The representative was very prompt and polite; however, during the visit I asked whether the company had current worker's compensation and general liability insurance. He replied, "general liability yes; but no worker's compensation coverage because it was too expensive. I advised him of the financial liability it would create for me if an employee was injured on my property while doing the work. He said that wouldn't happen. My response to him was "but suppose it does"?

The work was good; they got the work done, cleaned up afterwards and hauled the debris away. They did all of the work in two days so I will use them again in the future if necessary.

Overall, it went very well but there was nothing that stood out about them. They were fine. We would recommend them to our friends and family members. They came promptly and came when they said that they were going to come. Their services went well but the price was a little too high.

Hayes Tree service performed the work and we are very happy with the results. Having had many a tree serviced in past years I was quite worried about this one. Mr. Hayes' experience and know-how spared us the high risk and his people made the job look easy. The huge root ball laid down gently as if an angel were easing it down. No damage occurred to the property, our sidewalk was saved and everyone worked safe. Mr Hayes and his people were friendly, knowledgeable and very respectful of our property. I would not hesitate to use him and again and very happy to have chosen him for the work. Mr. Hayes and his crew were on time, and did all that was asked when the quote was given. We were very satisfied with all the work.

These guys came and expertly removed this problematic and tricky tree. They came out on the Friday before the July 4th holiday and removed this tree with artistry. It fell at the only possible angle to not damage anything else. Mr. Hayes not only ground up the stump from the felled tree, but also a large one next to it! The crew raked up all debris and leveled out the topography. Mr. Hayes is very polite, personable and professional. I so appreciated the service that I offered him some figs from my tree. As I was retrieving them, Mr. Hayes actually brought his stump grinder to another part of my property and ground up three or four other stumps left over from Hurricane Gustav. All this without my asking, and without a charge. . . . other than some figs! The next morning my driveway was flowing with water. An irrigation pipe had burst. I called Mr. Hayes and on July 3 he came out with a crew. There really is some question as to whether or not the tree removal caused this break (nothing else had gone on in the yard the day before), but I was mightily impressed that he'd come back out so quickly. Mr. Hayes said he'd return Sunday July 4 and try to fix it. He did not return, but it was a holiday.
