H Soft Perkins Computer Center

I called Perkins Computer Center to discuss cloning my hard drive to a SSD. The owner, Mr. Dean Harrison, was very friendly and appeared very knowledgeable about my computer job. I made an appointment to bring the computer to his business between 1:30 and 1:45 pm Wednesday. He informed me that they had recently moved to a different address and gave me that address as 8211 Goodwood. I arrived on time and found a group of suites at the address, but none were named ?Perkins Computer Center?. Mr. Harrison had not given me the suite number. After thoroughly searching the names posted on the outside wall of the building, I called the business number Mr. Harrison had given me from another business in the complex. Mr. Harrison did not answer so we left a message. After waiting for a call back and receiving none, I left. I Later, I spoke by phone directly to Mr. Harrison and explained to him that I had spent over an hour making the drive to his business at the appointment time, that he had not told me the name of the business had changed to HSoft, that he had not given me a suite number and that he had not been available at the business phone number during my appointment to provide directions. Mr. Harrison took absolutely no responsibility for this confusion and in fact blamed me for everything. After hearing his denials, I stated my intension to list this complaint on Google and Angie?s list. He stated that I could write to ?my little heart?s content?. Mr. Dean Harrison never attempted to explain, apologize or resolve my complaint. It is reasonable to expect a service provider to give the current name of their business, suite number and to be present at an appointment time. Therefore, I would highly recommend AGAINST doing business with Mr. Dean Harrison, HSoft, and/or Perkins Computer Center. Despite having very good computer sense, Mr. Harrison seems disdainful of customers, he relies on denial as a means to resolve problems and his behavior lacks professionalism.
