The company showed up on time, and did a good job. But the only issues was they mopping. My husband didn't care for the way they mopped the floors.

First, house cleaning preferences are very subjective and personal. I want to put that out there as the frame in which to read what follows. I really liked that they cleaned the base boards, steam cleaned my bathroom tile, and dusted every surface (even lifting objects). They also got up mineral stains around sink drains, which shows nice attention to detail. They arrived promptly on time (to the minute!), and they worked hard the whole time the were here. That's all excellent -- worthy of an "A" rating. What kept them from getting a perfect grade is that they did not actually wet mop my hardwoods. I had understood when I booked them that they would, but I think my understanding of mopping and theirs is not the same. They used 3 dust mops (for different parts of the house), spraying the floor, and then swishing. That process got up some dirt, but it also left some and just moved dirt around. It didn't leave me with a pristine shine on the hardwoods--the test for a really clean wood floor. The floors are definitely better, but not great. I also found some spots on the kitchen floor that I had to clean up myself with a paper towel and vinegar solution after they left--they'd just swished over them. Overall, the hardwood floor cleaning was just mediocre due to the method used. (If you have tile and not hardwoods and can have them steam clean them, I think you can look forward to better results from them--the white tile in my bathroom looks terrific--even the grout. Steam cleaning is not an option with my wood floor's finish.) Other than the hardwoods, the rest was quite good. The bathrooms were left very clean and pristine, and they did a nice job in the master bedroom. (They did not clean the windows, but I didn't ask them to, as that would have added several hours more to the cleaning time.) My other reason for not giving an "A" was the smell of their cleaning products and so-called fresheners. They use harsh, commercial chemicals (Mr. Clean/Spic-n-Span type sprays). This is very subjective and personal to me, but I detest the way that stuff smells. I spent most of the day trying to air out the house to get that chemical smell out. It didn't smell "clean" to me -- it smelled toxic. Even my husband commented on the "stinky chemical smell" when he got home--and he isn't smell-sensitive. Admittedly, if you already use those commercial chemical cleaners and don't mind their odor, you might not even notice it! I will invite them back but ask that they use my own non-stinky cleaning products (Seventh Gen, Mrs. Meyer, Method, etc.), or just vinegar solution with lemon EO. Hopefully that will leave me with better air in the home when they go -- and give those ladies' lungs a break for a few hours too. For the first visit, I let them go about their work, doing it "their way." That's the only way I can fairly assess a new service. I'm going to try them for regular visits for a couple of months, but with them using products that I supply instead of the ones the company supplies. The bottom line is that the ladies they sent were honest, hard workers, which is the most important thing. I'm hopeful that as we learn to work together, we can end up in a long-term business relationship with regular cleaning visits.

I called on Monday and was able to schedule an appointment for Tuesday at 9am. The cleaning lady arrived promptly at 9am and worked for approximately 3 hours. The work was awesome - I asked that she focus on the kitchen and bathroom, which were both in bad shape. When she left my son snapped photos of the toilet and refrigerator, both of which were spotless. Great job, I would hire Guarantee Girls again anytime I need help in the Baton Rouge area. Thanks!!

When I first started using this company over a year ago, the initial cleaning consisted of 2 cleaners. The service was great, they were thorough and I set up bi-weekly service. Once I set up bi-weekly service the 2 cleaners dropped to one and so did the quality of the service. I started noticing that the cleaning appeared to be rushed, and things were not as clean as they needed to be. About the time I was ready to cancel them, they would tell me that they were sending another cleaner because the other girl no longer worked there. I continued to use them thinking the service may be better with a different cleaner. At first the service would be great and then I would notice a decline in the quality. Also they are consistently late and not flexible on showing up at a requested time. My husband works late nights and when I needed them to show up at 10 or 11 in the morning it always seemed to be a problem. They did finally send a cleaner that I really liked but as time went on it became impossible for her to be at my house for 10 or 11. It either had to be 8 or 9 in the morning or 2 or 3 in the afternoon. 8 or 9 was too early for us and 2 or 3 was too late because this cleaner took 3 hours to clean my house. Finally, they asked me if they could send another cleaner because my cleaner just couldn't be at my house for that time! That's ridiculous! Another cleaner can make that time but not the one I liked and had been using- weird! I finally had enough and just discontinued them today. You get what you pay for - these people are not consistent or dependable. Another incident - My daughter works for an apartment complex and needed to have an apartment cleaned for an unexpected inspection. Even though it was the same day I decided to check to see if someone could possibly go out there that afternoon to clean it for her. I spoke to Lauren who is very nice and professional. She said she actually had a cleaner that could go out and clean that afternoon at 2. My daughter was so excited because she was going to have to do it herself if they couldn't make it. This freed her up to go back to work. Twenty minutes before the appointment Miriam called to say the girl couldn't be there! This really put my daughter in a big bind and Miriam didn't seem very concerned at all. Not dependable!

They were very good fast and the house was cleaned perfectly I will be using them in the future

Came in a gave house a deep cleaning. Also, cleaned rugs and draperies.

Very Well. They were a little late because of extra time needed for a previous customer. Nicole and Elena were organized, pleasant, and thorough.

general cleaning forgot to clean shower in bathroom shower curtain still had slight mildew on it overall claening was good i would probably use them again but be more observant and instructive at that time the girls were very professional initally setting up the appt was confusing but was soon straighten out by Miriam

I found Guarantee Girls through Angie's list. After going to their website and requesting a free quote, the receptionist called me back within a few days. She took some house information and gave me the quote. She was not pressing and gave me some time to call her back to select a date and time. She thouroughly explained what work would be performed. Jane and Mary arrived a little early which was nice. They were very professional. After giving them a tour and a priority list, they got to work. They took their time and were very detailed. Also, they seemed to have fun which was great. I was very impressed with the level of detail they used to clean.

Awesome job! My home smells great when they leave. Lauren is the sweetest young lady. Neatly dressed and professional. and quot;Her smile is contagiousand quot;. She works quickly but misses nothing. Lauren pays attention to details. When she left I went to my bedroom. The room was beautiful and the lights were dim. Made me want to take a nap! Great job Lauren!!!!!!

I have been useing their service bi-weekly for about a year now. My house cleaner Autum is awesome! She is very professional, has a great personality and work ethic!

This is our 3rd girl from this place. We have used Guarantee Girls for over 6 years.

There was a communication problem and they arrived an hour late to the appointment. I had another appointment sched just after the houscleanined for the carpets to be cleaned. Because they were an hour late, the time was shortened from two hours to one hour. They did a good job within the one hour they cleaned. They did offer to try and make up the time, but I was unable to fit them into my schedule before having to move. They also did offer to come out and clean my home, but it wasn't built yet. They did to make up for it, but it just wasn't available in my schedule.

The work was completed a little too fast. The work was average. The people were nice and professional.

I was moving into a condo I had carpet taken out and wood floors put down. I hired Guarantee Girls to clean up the dust after the work was complete. When they came in, they missed areas on my bookshelves and high up. In the door frames it looked as though they were not vacuumed. When the owner came out, she agreed to send the crew back out. After the same crew completed the second job, I was still unhappy with it.

I had them scheduled to come to my home. They cancelled last minute. I rescheduled the appointment for the next day and they never arrived. I had to call them to ask if they were still coming to my home. I was told that they would check to see why no one was here. I was eventually called back and told the employee stopped for gas. I let them know that I would not need there services any longer.

They did a great job but I found someone closer to my house opposed to paying and quot;travel up chargeand quot;

Based on a recommendation, we hired this company first for a deep clean, then for regular bi-weekly cleanings. The deep clean was fine: 2 workers showed up and worked fairly hard, very pleasant and responsive. The regular cleanings began with 2 workers then suddenly went down to 1 person for an increasingly shorter amount of time. That person was pleasant, but the work was superficial at best. When I asked for specific things to be done (wipe out the microwave, wipe down kitchen counters - not unreasonable stuff), she would respond while I was there. But when I wasn't there overseeing things went back to, well, not much. Our house isn't dirty, so I had hoped this service would be a nice fill-in for those jobs we didn't want to devote extra time to during our precious time off from work. But it wasn't worth the expense and the feeling that we were being taken advantage of. When I tried to speak with the manager - I didn't want to get our cleaner in trouble, but I didn't seem to be getting anywhere talking with her about what I wanted either - they were pretty unresponsive. They were more focused on their website feedback system than on actually connecting with their customers. Too bad.

It was ok baseboards were not done and the walls that were specifically asled to be dome was not completed.

Overall they did a good job, the ladies were nice and sure seemed to know what they were doing.

Two ladies arrived on time and worked diligently and thoroughly to get the job done. The only reason I gave them a B on quality rather than a perfect A was because I felt of the 2 ladies (been too long to remember their names) one was a super detailed cleaner. She cleaned the fridge. The other lady did very well but missed a few minor things, i.e. didn't edge carpet with vacuum cleaner in 2 of the rooms she vaccumed. Overall the company is very professional, quickly responsive and they did a thorough enough job that I will hire them again should I have money in the budget for cleaning services again. I even referred them to my Mom who more frequently hires cleaning services and I know she's hired them a few times since then.

The first time they cleaned, they did a nice job. The girls who cleaned the second time were much better. For what you pay, I would expect much more, but they are limited in what they can do. They can't move furniture to clean under it. They can't go outside to sweep porches. They can only use the cleaners they are supplied with, so things like tough soap scum don't seem possible to clean properly. Mirrors and glass were left with streaks the first time, but looked great the second time. They are much too expensive to use on a regular basis, but the girls are hard-working, sweet, professional and trustworthy, which for most people, is well worth the price if your house needs a top to bottom cleaning every once in awhile.

They charge about $150 for their services. The workers are as sweetest as they can be, but I don't think they are thorough. They do a pretty good job. It's only my husband and I who live in the house. So, there are only certain rooms that really need to be cleaned and I had them clean the other rooms that are unoccupied. They did the vacuuming and the sweeping in the other rooms too.
