Description of Work: They poured a pathway and patio. The second part of the job was a little differently. They didn't smooth the pea gravel soon enough, so it was on top of the surface. You couldn't walk on it barefooted. They broke it out and did it again. It matched the first part of the job perfectly. It still looks great and we really enjoy it.

+ 0 moreIn the end, it all looks great! As a residential customer, I was a low priority, but there was pretty good communication with the contractor. This 1 week job ended up taking about 3 weeks. One of the sections was done improperly, so the contractor was suggesting he would put a a patch over the bad work. I consulted with other professionals and decided that a patch was not a good idea. The contractor had no problem agreeing to bust out the bad and pour new. I think this should have been his first response. We are very happy with our driveway and patio.
Description of Work: Extended driveway and extended patio with a brick ribbon. All exposed aggregate.

+ 0 moreIt went well. He started on time and got the work done quickly. The only reason I lowered parts of his rating is that, when the project was completed, it took a while for him to remove his backhoe. Apparently he had a health problem that distracted him at this time. This was not a big problem for us, it was not in the way, but it still took longer than it should.
Description of Work: He removed a large portion of an old parking lot and driveway and poured new in it's place. Added some reinforcement also.
