Cost me over 4500 dollars and I would give them a F across the board. When I called Angie's list to complain I thought they had given me the referral when it was actually Service Magic. I called Angie's list to complain and they said they have a negative rating for them. He lied and said he plumbers license when he did not. It was not honest about the cost even though they gave me an estimate. When asked about additional cost he said yes there is an extra $400.00 for the tub.. He first wanted 5500 and I refused to pay so he lowered the price to 4750. It is in dispute now with Service Magic they are thinking about refunding $395.00 due to the tile that he broke when he did the job that he did not replace. That was not the only problem. He was late. He was there from 11:00 AM until 1:00AM the very next day. He forgot to put the stopper down in the upstairs and water spilled downstairs and I had to mop it up. He was a real messy contractor who was not honest.
Description of Work: They came into my home to replace the bath tub.

On 11/10, the liner had still not come in. I called Kelly and he advised me it hadn?t yet come in. I asked if there was anyway we could change the contract to cover a new tub, rather than a liner. I asked him how much more it would be, and he advised me $400. I sent this quoted price in an email to him as a confirmation. I also requested a new contract be written up. When he came out to my home, Kelly state he didn?t have time to read his emails and didn?t have the contact. I again verbally specified that it would be an additional $400. He and his crew got to work and worked until midnight. There was a leak in the ceiling due to a drainage issue, but this was relatively minor. During a later discussion, he stated there was still an additional $1700 owed to him. With our previous contract and the additional $400 owed to him, I had the total at $500. He stated he had $1090 more in it, which I agreed to pay to just get him out of my house. I would recommend that anyone working with this company have any changes specified in writing in the contact. I felt that they underbid the work and had to make up for it by requesting more money. I ended up paying $4,795 in total.
Description of Work: On 10/24, he came to my home for an estimate for a new bathtub liner. This was to include a show curtain rod, fixtures, etc. I was to take care of the tile and grout. It was going to be an extensive job. I signed a contract with them to move forward with the project. Parts and labor were to be $3,453.95.

We hired Kelly Harrison owner of Customized Baths, LLC in Baton Rouge, LA in April for a big job - 2.5 baths and kitchen. He was recommended by a friend who had used him to replace her bath tub and walls. He said our job would take about a week...I knew that was an optimistic estimate. He replaced a tub and shower stall along with the walls, granite square counter tops in 2.5 baths, and counter tops and back splash in our kitchen. It took all of three weeks. He had employees that did not show up 2 out of 5 days each week and Kelly would disappear for hours which I later found out he was booking other work. Overall towards the end of the 3 weeks I thought he had done a good job until he tried to finish the last day and gave us the final bill. Things were done at the last minute poorly or not at all. The bill was $3000 more than he quoted us which he explained that he had to buy more expensive granite than we picked out which was the first we were told of this problem. All during this job he continued to praise himself about all of his 100% satisfied customers and how if we had any problem he would come back and fix it. We waited three weeks to call him with our long list of problems ...I picked out only the ones that I couldn't do which were about half a dozen - plumbing, electrical, and molding. After 3 weeks of calling him he finally came out to look at the list, made an appointment to come in a few days, and assured me he would take care of ALL the problems. He didn't call or show up for that appointment. We called him again and the same thing happened, twice. He said we were rude to him...this was not true. If wanting what we paid for and finished properly in a timely manor is being rude than we were guilty. We never said a harsh word to him but kept trying to get him to finish so we would have the beautiful home we wanted.
Description of Work: Replaced tub and wall, shower and wall, counter tops in 2.5 baths and kitchen with granite squares.
