Description of Work: Custom Security completed some updates to my existing security system very quickly and efficiently.

Description of Work: My husband called and they refused to give any prices over the phone but told him that he could sign a one year contract and that since our new house already had the equipment for Custom Security, that we would not have to pay for that. When the salesman came out, he gave him a price then told him that he had to sign a three year contract because they did not do one year contracts and that we would have to buy the equipment! My husband later found out that this was not true as they do do one year contracts and we should not have had to pay for the equipment that was already in our house! We paid $249.00 for equipment only, not including installation on a our new house which already had an active monitored Custom Security system installed and working. Even with paying $249.00 for new equipment, most of the ols equipment was left in place although the a new keypad unit was installed. The system quit working on one of the houses in the first week. The guy who came out wanted us to pay him to repair it! Unreal! The alarm on our empty house that we had for sale kept going off for no reason, so the realtors asked if they could quit using it. The alarm on our new house would go off after we properly set it and left. It would go off when we opened the door. I told the person who called but she could have cared less. We were contacted by a male who told us that our systems needed to be upgraded to the new 4G service. He also said that if we did not sign a new contact that the company would charge us to upgrade our system so that it would work! Mind you, we were still under contract at the time! We did not upgrade it. A woman called my husband and told him that we would not have to pay the old balance as we were not receiving service. A technician is supposed to come in the morning to upgrade our systems at no charge and without us having to sign another contract, so we will see how that goes. It has not worked in at least six months at either house and our contracts have been up but they want to charge us for systems that have been horrible! I have no idea how they got an A rating here! We give them a F! Update: Apparently the girl who called my husband forgot that she called him and called me wanting payment. I told her that someone had called my husband and spoke with him and told him that we we'd not going to have to pay for the time it was not working. She then remembered talking to him the day before and denied saying that. She was on speaker phone with my husband and I heard her say that,. Two guys came out and fixed the problem with the alarm but I am not sure if they upgraded the system or not. They were very nice. The guys who came out to do the original install were also very nice. We were just not happy with having to sign a three year contract when we could have signed a one year contract and paying for a system that was already installed. I also updated info in my original review. UPDATE 7/08/15: We are currently working with Mr. Ronnie to resolve these issues. UPDATE: 8/21/15: We have resolved all issues with Mr. Ronnie. Everything is working well and we could not be more pleased. We will continue to use Custom Security and are now proud to recommend them to everyone who wants a great reliable security system.

Description of Work: Security system was installed. The original appointment was scheduled quickly and the representative showed up on time. The installation went very smoothly and the staff was very professional. They answered all of our questions. The alarm center staff is friendly and helpful.

Description of Work: I already had a Security System with them, but my glass breakage was going off when it shouldn't have. They made an appointment the next day and the guys are always so sweet and knowledgeable. He went up in the attic and came down with the old monitor that had chewed off wires. He thought it may have been squirrels are mice chewing on the wires, which I would not doubt. He replaced it with a wireless monitor. I asked him the charge, and he said there was no charge. I have been a customer for 21 years and he knew that.
