He later (one week) sent a workman to take off a piece of marble from the tub. The worker told me to get an exterminator and he would return and finish the work. He did caulk around my shower. The ants were attracted to water which was leaking from the shower into the tub. Mr. Morris informed me 3 months ago that he was trying to match the marble. I spoke with him numerous times and he offered one excuse after another. He kept telling me that he had been busy with his own new home. Also, he said that he couldn't find a match with a supplier. He made numerous excuses and kept telling me that he would return my piece of marble. He also said that he was going to give me an invoice for the little bit of work his worker performed. Now 4 months later, I still have not had my marble returned. As late as yesterday, he promised to send someone over with the marble. He is totally unprofessional, unreliable, and unresponsive. We felt so strongly that we joined Angie's List to warn others. Poor company Do not hire!
Description of Work: I had ants in my bathroom which were under my garden tub in my bathroom. I called Complete Construction in April 2012. Matt Morris, the owner came out and looked at the situation.

Response from Complete Construction Contractors LLC
The customer called our company to look at her master shower which had extensive mold/mildew growth & ants due to a leaky custom built shower. She informed me that it had been this way for a couple of years (also apparent due to the mold/mildew growth and rotted wood) & wanted us to fix it. She already had a plumber there to look for a leak who tore open the jacuzzi tub and shower to investigate the issue and was told there was not a plumbing issue & to call a contractor. When I arrived, this had already been opened up by another contractor/plumber which we documented with pictures along with the mold/mildew growth on our first encounter. I informed her that it was due to a faulty original installation by her previous contractor and the shower seat had back fall on it and was holding water. The foundation of the shower and seal was also built incorrectly which allowed it to continue to leak underneath it for a long period of time which created the rot and mold/mildew growth. I explained there were only two options we could offer. 1.) Remove the bad grout and caulking areas and temporary seal them with new grout caulk in hopes that this would last her a short period of time but be cost efficient. This would also dry out the leak and allow us to treat/remove the mold/mildew growth under her shower so it would be safe again. Also advised her to have an exterminator come and treat the excessive ants who were living under her shower/tub area. 2.) Utilize option #1 to get a temporary seal and treat the mold/mildew after drying it out and search for an acceptable match to her marble tiles in color and to tear out and rebuild at minimum the back half of the shower and seat area and rebuild them correctly using Hardie Backer board and Schluetter System making sure to have proper fall on the seat so it would not hold water again. I informed her that marble was a natural stone and is quarried from different areas in world and it can be difficult to find an acceptable match but if she would be patient we would do our best to try and match it. I informed her that we would not be willing to fix the shower with a bad match because we do not want our hard earned reputation to be on "shotty" craftsmanship. If it were sealed and we removed the mold/mildew it would get her out of the danger zone to allow time for this process. We also told her we would bill her once we knew further details and costs incurred and extensiveness of damage once tore out. The customer agreed and we scheduled a two man crew for the following morning with her to begin due to the mold/mildew severity. The following morning, my employees went and purchased the materials needed and drove to her residence to be turned away by her husband saying that his wife was ill and they would contact us to return once she was feeling better. They called us to reschedule approx one week later. I sent two men to her house to work on this project and they treated the mold/mildew and temporary sealed the shower as discussed. We asked her to take one of the marble tiles which were already removed to try to find an acceptable match which she agreed. We then contacted 5 different resources we deal with and felt we found one close similar so new marble tiles were ordered. It took approx 7-10 days for the materials to come in which we informed Sarah of the progress. When these tiles arrived from the distributor, they showed not to be an acceptable match so we did not proceed but continued to look. We informed the customer's and once again advised that we were not willing to work with a bad match and assured her that she would not be happy in the long run so she requested that we continue the search. She recommended that we try Home Depot and said that was were her original contractor purchased the materials so we tried two different locations which did not have the materials as expected. We offered to continue the search again or return the sample as she was getting impatient and wanted us to just "install something". We once again told her that we were not willing to do poor quality craftsmanship and would return the sample marble tile along with the invoice for work up to that point. This is when she scoffed at me and told me "Invoice, for what? All you did was a little caulking". I explained to her that there was a cost associated with the work she requested from us which included the missed appointment and materials purchased to temporary repair her shower, mold/mildew remediation, labor for two men/two days to work on the shower, and the man hours involved in trying to find her a match to her marble which greatly exceeded due diligence. She boldly informed me that she was not going to pay us and to bring her the marble sample or she was going to tarnish our reputation with her country club neighbors. I reminded her that those same neighbors are the ones I gave her for referrals when she initially requested references and they would praise our work. I told her that when she paid her bill we would gladly exchange it for her marble tile but she continued her threats which we placed no bearing on. Several weeks following this conversation I received a voice mail from the customer which we still have on file where she informs me to look at her Facebook page and Angie's List and once again threatens to smear our name at her neighborhood "Garden Club". She even went as far as to say we had mutual friends at church and she would smear our name...boy oh boy. She had written a smear campaign on us of Facebook and had her friends making uncalled for comments. Our attorney printed all of the emails, Facebook and Angie's List posts were she wrote false information and inaccurate details of the matter and we advised her if the libelous information was not removed immediately we would take legal action to protect our hard earned company name. She was advised one more time that if she payed her bill, we would returned the marble tile. I received a phone cal from her husband who asked me how much the invoice was and then threatened my life if I had any further contact with his wife. Gilbert then sent me multiple text messages on July 19th 2012 7:21 p.m. which we have saved. We then received a phone call from her daughter who represented her as an attorney and Sarah's legal council who informed me that her and her entire family had repeatedly asked her mom to refrain from Facebook etc. because she is always posting things like this and embarrassing them and causing them problems. She requested that I go directly to her father's place of business and to pick up a certified check for the $725.00 we were owed if we would return the marble tile but they were concerned with us making a record that her house had mold/mildew in case she ever wanted to sell it. I told the customers (daughter/attorney) that it was not up to us what documents she released to her potential buyers and could not advise her of this. I went to her father's place of business were I was informed by the receptionist that the customer was not there and had left hours prior my phone call with Ashley. The receptionist began to scold me and threaten me at that point. I left and called the customer's (daughter/attorney) and advised her that I did not appreciate the wild goose hunt for our money and we would be proceeding legally on the matted and filing a lien on the customer's residence for non-payment. They can pay the past due invoice, lien fees and attorney fees associated with their non-payment up to this point and we will return their marble and settle the file. Sidenote: We were also threatened by Angie's list that if we proceeded to file legally against the customers for slander or libelous information posted on Angie's List or Facebook that they would put us in a "Time Out" box and add a notice to our company that we threaten to sue clients which would give us greater negative effect. This is all on a recorded voice mail from Angie's List representative: Noël Clawson Help Desk Toll Free: (866) 625-5478 ext 7650 Fax: 3178037650 Email: noelc@angieslist.com We also had a detailed recorded conversation with this representative where she confirmed this threat and told us Angie's List was protected by a Information Fair Share Act and they did not care that it was false and slanderous information they were posting on their website. Lesson to be learned: Our company will ONLY provide quality craftsmanship no matter what pressure is applied and we don't care were you live, you still have to pay your bill. We also are not going to be pressured by a website who only exists because of HARD WORKING CONTRACTORS and HONEST CLIENTS, not by dishonest non-paying clients. Put us in a penalty box for needing to be payed for our hard earned work which pays our employees and keeps the lights on... I have attached her Facebook attacks on our company and suggest you read this also. IF YOU PLAN TO HIRE OUR COMPANY AND NOT PAY US....BEWARE....WE WILL FILE LEGALLY TO BE PAID W/INTEREST AND ARE NOT INTIMIDATED BY ANY FORUM YOU CHOOSE TO SLANDER US ON!!!!! Do not edit our report in any fashion.

Everything was good. I would recommend them for their quality of work and thoroughness.
Description of Work: They repaired a leak in our air conditioner which had caused mold in our attic. They scrubbed the mold out of attic, treated the wood, laid fresh insulation, and repainted our ceilings.
