Great experience. Got work done in about 3 to 4 hours and explained the operation of the system. Works very well.

Arrived on time and completed project in under 5 hours which included removing the existing system and installing new system. 4 technicians worked on the project. Very satisfied. One of the technicians spent about half hour showing us how to program the thermostat and most efficient settings. This was a 21 Seer variable speed heating and air system.

Great! They were able to get a service tech, Daryll, out to us much sooner than originally anticipated. Daryll was very courteous and professional. After thoroughly inspecting our rather old, and limping along system, he was able to resolve the problem quickly. Since no parts or materials were needed, we were only charged for the service call! This was our second time using Central Heating & Air, and it certainly will not be the last!

Service was prompt and professional, and the diagnosis was spot on! The price was also very reasonable/competitive.

Got home early from work and the rear central A/C unit in the attic was making a terrible racket and wasn't cooling well. Called Central A/C to see if they could have somebody out in the next day or two and they had a tech in my driveway thirty minutes after the call! He got in the attic, took the unit apart, the fan/blower wheel had gone off-balance, so he fixed that, cleaned the unit, recharged the outside compressor, and that A/C unit has never blown so cold before in its life! Very impressed and will call them from now on with any air or heat problems!

The service provided by the appointment scheduler and the technician was impeccable. The technician evaluated the unit and made the necessary repairs. He was also very polite and helpful. The final price was very reasonable. I'll be using this company from now on, especially after previous disappointing experiences with two other companies.

It went fine. They detected and replaced a weak capacitor.

My outside A/C unit would not stop running when the thermostat reached the desired temperature and turned off the inside fan. I went outside to investigate and their was a layer of frost on the pipe and a smell of something plastic and/or electrical burning. That worried me, so I cut the power to the outside unit and called Central Heating & Air. The service technician was prompt, professional, and friendly. He found the root cause of the problem immediately and was happy to explain it to me. I had a burned out switch on a contactor, which resulted in the unit not turning off when it was supposed to. That in turn lead to an overheating in my disconnect box, which had produced the burning smell. He replaced both parts and tested my freon levels (it was low) and cleaned the condenser coils (they were overdue for a cleaning). I also should add that the weather was pretty bad that day, and it would have been perfectly understandable if they wanted to reschedule the service appointment. Probably more than half of the business and most of the schools in the area had closed due to inclement weather (it turned out to be a weekend of record flooding in the area). Their commitment to their customers is commendable. I recommend them will call them again the next time I have an A/C or heating problem.

Central had a repairman at our home within two hours and our air conditioner cooling again in 30 minutes. Great response time and quick service.

Called Central Heat and AC because AC would not turn on. The problem was because drain line needed to cleaned.

Contacted on very short notice late in day. They came out within an hour of the first call and replaced a fan motor on the AC unit outside. worked through heat and rain and darkness to get it taken care of. Excellent service!

The A/C stopped working on Sunday night. Called Central Heating and Air, and spoke to a live person almost immediately. Was called by the on call tech to assess the situation and since we had a small portable A/C, we did not ask them to come out that night. The following day about mid-morning, the technician came to my house, and quickly diagnosed the problem as fan motor seizing up. He was able to replace the fan and after a few small adjustments had the unit working again. He also cleaned up the unit, performed some general preventative maintenance, and checked and topped off the freon. Overall a great experience. The technician was terrific and explained the whole process and suggested some basic maintenance we could do ourselves. If I need more A/C in the future, Central Heating and Air will be getting my business.

It was a good experience. They were excellent. We got several bids on this job and theirs was the cheapest and also involved the most work. Many companies would not do the electrical work, but they were able to do it all.

First of all, I called Central Heating & Air at 7:30 a.m. (their opening time). They always promptly answer the phone. After reporting a problem with our upstairs a/c unit (this is South Louisiana, and it is hot and humid -- not a good time to have a/c problems). She said 'we can come now!' Unfortunately, I had an appt. and had to leave, but said I would be back ~1:00p. They said 1:00 is fine. The tech. (Chad?) arrived promptly and got right to work. It went very well - he quickly found the problem - a kinked copper wire on the outside unit (totally different from what we thought the problem would be). He was very thorough. He has been to our home before and is always professional, knowledgeable, prompt, personable and courteous. The price was much less that I was expecting - a pleasant surprise! I have used them several times before (Spring a/c checks, etc.) and they have replaced some of our equipment. They never try to sell something that is not needed. Their customer service is outstanding. I wish everyone I called responded as they do. Thank you.

Came home to an awful, loud humming sound coming from my indoor unit. Immediately turn the unit off. Try turning it back on and the fan won't blow. So I call these guys up and they have somebody out there in an hour. Once the guy opens up the unit, he immediately notes that the wheel fell off the blower. So, he spends a half hour fixing that and resetting everything. We test it and find that it fixed the blower, but everything had frozen up so he couldn't check my freon level and I had to wait for the ice to melt before turning on AC again. He leaves and charges me $85 for the visit. Tells me to call if I have any problems. I wait 2.5 hours before turning the AC on and it starts working with a normal amount of air coming out of the vent. But when I wake up in the morning it is not working and everything has frozen up again. Bottom line, he came out there a second time later that day, thoroughly cleaned out my outside unit in the drizzling rain, added 2 pounds of freon and the AC is running like a champ now. Charged me $120 for that visit, which he says was just the cost of the freon. I'm not sure if I got a great deal or not, but the guy was very quick to respond, easy to deal with, good about giving tips for maintenance and improvement. The overall price seemed pretty reasonable to me for two visits to fix two problems that weren't really related.

The only thing I can say is that when our air conditioner would go out, which was usually late in the evening or on a weekend, they always answered our call promptly and came out almost immediately. I don't remember details to tell a specific story from start to finish. I just know they have always done a fine job for us, and we have recommended them to others.

they arrived right on time as always and went right to work and finished and then showed me how to use the thermostat. They are a great company to deal with.

I spoke with Samantha of their office at 7:30 a.m. who promptly called me back advising that a tech would be out within an hour or less. The tech, Chad, was friendly and professional as well as quick. The repair to some wires that prevented the outside unit from kicking on were repaired after thorough investigation.

They have good prices, are honest and are quick to come out. I will use them again in the future.

Our upstairs AC stopped cooling and we checked Angie's List and Central Air and Heat was highly rated. We called them and they came out in less than half and hour. They determined we needed a new unit after ruling out other problems. They were very prompt on the day of installation and they were neat and considerate and professional. Although we didn't compare prices, we feel that we got a good deal and an excellent high-efficiency unit.

This company was recommended to us by our realtor. When the repairman first came, he realized that our copper wires had been cut/stolen and said he was not qualified to give us a quote on that type of repair by himself. He had the owner of the company (Ronnie) come by the same day. He said that they could try to fix the outside unit but it would be pricey to do and it would be a gamble as to if it could be repaired. They recommended a new outside unit for 2400.00 and offered a discount on the ductwork if we went that route. We were hesitant to commit to a new unit when the old one might be able to be fixed. So we had a friend of ours who used to work in that industry go check it out too. He agreed with everything Ronnie had told us and said that he was offering a fair price for the services. So we made an appointment with them to replace the unit and they were going to come the next day but ended up coming the same day since they had some time open up. They completed the whole project in just a couple of hours, were very professional and courteous. We will definitely call them in the future with any heating & cooling needs and wholeheartedly recommend them.
