Did an amazing job repairing our drywall. A real artisan - I would def hire him again for any drywall project.

Very neat--professional--KNOWS what he is doing

The first time I called Mr. Carter, I left a message and did not receive a response after 5 days. I called a second time and this time Mr. Carter answered. A visit to my home to inspect the jobs and provide a proposal was scheduled for 3 days later. Mr. Carter never showed for the appointment, did not call to say he would not be coming and has not called to reschedule.

Great! Mr. Carter was very accommodating & prompt with scheduling. He arrived on time, had all the correct materials and tools needed - I just had to provide the paint. Mr. Carter and Mr. Sonny did excellent work and were very detail oriented. I would highly recommend them and will definitely use them again.

Mr. Allan showed up and got started right away. He took the time to lay drop cloths everywhere and mask the walls where he would be working. After removing the old peeling tape he got it color matched and painted the areas he repaired. He did a good job on the repair and was careful to make as little mess as possible. I would use him again for any other repairs I needed done.

Everything was good but they actually didn't come back and finish the front door which they were supposed to do. They cleaned it and got it prepared for painting but I think they just forgot but everything else was good. I had used them once before to paint trim in the house and they had done a really good job that's why I used them again. They did a good job. They fixed my bedroom ceiling that had a leak in it and they did a good painting job and they sanded it down. I really kind of think it was just an oversight but the front door wasn't finished and that was part of what we agreed that they would do and actually that would only take them like 20 minutes to do. That's my only complaint. He went round in circles getting the appointment scheduled.

Mr. Carter came by soon after called to give estimate to remove popcorn ceiling, smooth, and paint. Estimate was given with fair price. I emailed once and called once to set up date to begin work and never received any response. I find this unprofessional. The work is currently being completed by another company.

The work they did was very good. They painted baseboards and other areas we couldn't get to. There were no drips on the floor, or any other marks. Overall they did a great job!

Mr. Carter arrived at the time he said he would. He worked quickly and efficiently and cleaned up. I will definitely use his services again.

I purchased a deal from Carter Contracting on Angie's List. The deal was that for the price of $99, I would get four hours of drywall and plaster repair. I had a few holes that need patchwork so this deal was perfect for me. Mr. Carter responded to my call promptly to schedule an appointment. He arrived on the day of our appointment, on time, and was very kind and professional. I informed him of the work I needed done and he got on it immediately. I was very pleased with the end result. I will most certainly use him again in the future.

There was some initial rescheduling as rain and other jobs seemed to push him back for such a big job. Once Allan and his crew came out for the job they worked hard, were pleasant to have around and did well with the work. They cleaned up after themselves every day very well which was very important to me. The job looked great afterwards but unfortunately some of the cypress wood columns, doors and beams started to fade and have weather wear after just 4 months. I called Allan and he came back out for no charge and re-did the wood work this time using a stronger marine type varnish on the wood work. It's now been about 6 months since he did that work and we are still having extreme weather wear on the wood but I don't really blame Alan for this as I think it's just the nature of the beast with stained wood work on your exterior. My husband is going to put a fresh coat of varnish this spring to keep the desired look up.

Excellent service and did a quality job

I bought a "Big Deal" through Angie's list for Carter contracting. It was for 2 painters for 8 hours. Mr. Carter and his crew arrived at 8 am. They patched and repaired all the walls for 2 hours. They were very thorough and repaired all the defects in the walls. After the repairs were done, Mr. Carter left and his crew of 2 painters remained. They did an excellent job painting the walls and the crown molding. They were extremely neat and clean and did not get paint on anything except the walls. They were friendly and professional. I am very pleased with the job. My home looks brand new! I would definitely hire them again.

They showed up and did a great job and were very nice. They do need to communicate a bit better as to when they will be coming but they were willing to honor my coupon because of some health issue’s which I appreciated.

Professional work the deal provided a limited amount of work, but it was done well.

This contractor showed up on time and had two assistants who did most of the work. They actually completed the job well ahead of time and volunteered to perform additional similar tasks because they got the job done so efficiently. Their work was excellent. Very unusual to see such integrity and professionalism.
