Very timely and professional installation. Work areas were cleaned up when finished.

Paid for the two hours for $180. Workmen arrived on time, did a great job, and left before the end of two hours. A couple of weeks later I received a bill for $100, With three hours of work listed. They called me when I expressed my concern that the hours were inaccurate and told me that it was the transportation fee. I have a hard time seeing but our transportation when it was 2 1/2 miles from my house!

I give them the highest recommendation possible.

They identified the issue and returned the following week to repair it.

Electrician was able to get it wired up and working with the existing wiring. We are very pleased with the work.

Arrived on time. We discussed the location for the motion light fixtures and the security cameras. They completed the work in about 5 hours and worked diligently to complete the work In a timely manner. I was kept informed about the entire installation. They installed the camera video cables in the attic and fished it though the wall at my HDTV. They even connected the cameras to the DVR and allI had to do was turn power on. Would definitely use again. They were very courteous and professional in the quality of the work they did.

Excellent service--we are so happy to have found such a great service. Stewart came out twice, once to inspect our panels and a second time to replace a chandelier. He is terrific, knowledgeable, efficient, and very helpful.

The electrician showed up on time, was very professional and knowledgeable. I had 2 electrical recepticles not working and the electrician traced the problem to a 3rd recepticle with a loose wire that had apparently been "arching" for some time determined by the demarkation on the cover plate, recepticle part and surrounding wall. All that was needed was a receptical replacement and proper tightening of the wiring to the recepticle for that recepticle and then the circuit was unbroken. I did have to supply the recepticle since he did not have the type recepticle in his truck but was not charged for any parts, only labor. Took him 1 1/2 hrs to complete the job and I was charged for exactly that amount of labor time. This company has done many jobs in my neighborhood because I have seen their trucks at various addresses. Checked them out on Angie's List and they did not disappoint. It's important to me to have an experienced electrician who is courteous, punctual and professional resolve any electrical issues and Cajun Electric is all of that. I highly recommend this company for your electrical needs.

It went fine. They were on time and did a good job.

The services at my old home were rescheduled twice before they finally got out there and took care of the issues, 3 days before my closing. At the new house, I was rescheduled 3 different times after it took them 3 weeks just to get me on the schedule. I was adjusting my work schedule to be available to them and I had to consistently call just to find out I was being rescheduled. This last time it was after they missed the appointment and I called them to find out the tech was on another job still. I think they are just lucky I am writing this and not my wife who was at home waiting for the tech.

The guy was nice and they do good work. But, they didn't stay very long. I asked him about a couple of things. I asked him about my kitchen light. Because it keeps burning light bulbs out, I was worried if it's shorting. He just said, "Oh, it's probably just the way it was hooked up." But, he didn't offer to check it or fix it or look at it. Also, I had an outside socket in the front of my house. He fixed the one in the back but not the one in the front. He said, "Yeah. That needs to be fixed but I don't have the part. You need a databox." I thought, "Well, shouldn't you carry those parts with you?" He did the things that I specifically mentioned to them over the phone because I talked to them over the phone to set up the appointment. They definitely took care of that. I didn't know that if I didn't specifically tell them over the telephone that they didn't come prepared or they wouldn't do anything else. I didn't know that. I don't think it said that in the small print. At that time, over the phone, I definitely mentioned an outside socket under my car porch that need replacing and also to wire up a floodlight for me and he did that. He was very good with that. If I would have known that I had to go around and really think and mention every little thing on the phone, I would have done that. So, now I'm going to have to wait and get another deal for somebody to come fix those other things. But, they're not as major as what I had done. What I had done was more important. I wanted to be home. That's why I set it up when I would take off from work. They had called me and said, "Oh, we can't come on July 6." They called me that morning. The girl did. I said, "Excuse me. I took a vacation from work. You have to come today." They were really very nice. She said, "Oh well, let me work around." I said, "Please. Please." She did. She did manage to work it out. They were very helpful. The guy that came brought a little assistant with him. He was very nice. It's not that he wasn't real nice. I just got the impression that if you don't tell them exactly which one to do over the telephone then when they come out, they probably won't do it. They need to put that in small print. What they do is, the licensed guy comes and brings his little technician with him. So it's two people. I was thinking of calling back and saying, "They only stayed one hour and I was supposed to get two hours." But, on the bill that they sent me, because two guys were there that added up. If you get two of them then you don't get two hours.

They were on time at 7:30 am and left at 10:30 am. They repaired the doorbell, which had broken. They even located some bad switches while installing the motion sensors and installed new switches in those locations as well. All old parts were kept and put into the boxes left over from the new fixtures. We are donating them. The work areas were left clean and neat. They were very professional . We were replacing builder grade fixttures in certain areas with higher lumen fixtures so that we could see better. The motion sensors are in rooms that are not used much and sometimes not turned off, like the garage. Now we can have light in areas that were too dim to work. We even purchased a coupon off Angieslist-- prepaid $300.00 for $350 of work on the day before the job after we knew the estimate. We checked with the office and they said they would honor it. So we turned in the voucher on the day of service. They will bill the rest of the cost to us. Since we provided the fixtures, and new motion sensors, most of the cost was for labor for two men. I am not sure what the final price will be since the original estimated price was 620.00. With the coupon, we prepaid 300. and we get a reduction of $50.00 on the final bill. They did provide a new door bell, new transformer and some new switches that they found were bad. Ultimately, the bill was under the 350.00 that we paid for it. Excellent service and very happy with the service.

I purchased the fan for them to install. When the tech arrived, he was very professional and courteous. He went right to work and didn't stop until it was complete. He followed all of my instructions on what I wanted and how I wanted it done. I am very pleased with the service.

Scheduling was really easy. Service provider showed up on time. He was able to find the problem and fix it. In addition, he made suggestions on how to prevent futures issues. He was very professional and helpful.

My bedroom ceiling fan could not be fixed so they installled the extra I had on hand in case the old defectivee. Bathroom light checkd out and nothing wrong with fixture. Somehow the connect wires were loose and they fixed that and light works fine. I had a spare bath heater light combo but tjeu said it would require new switch installation so they got a plaing bath heater to replace the plain bath heater that had worn out. It was much cheaper than running wireing to slip in an identical appliance. That new heater cost 75.00 , but I took back the 92.00 heater that required additional wiring. Saved me money and thats akkk I needed.

We've got a 70 year old house which had nob-and-tube aluminum wire throughout. Cajun Electric did an amazing job replacing all of the old wire. I got quotes from other companies in town which were at least double. The other company stated they would need to cut holes in the plaster walls to be able to get to anything. Lee and Cole, from Cajun, took care of it in half the cost without cutting any holes in the wall. These guys are professional and courteous. The were very quick and tidy. I will definitely be calling them for any other electrical needs I may have in the future.

The electrician was very professional and knowledgeable . Explained exactly what needed to be done and completed work in a timely manner. Very satisfied with the job he did.

Service was professional. They installed the outlet exactly where I had hoped. My only regret is not keeping track of how long the technician was at my home. This is important since my bill wasn't recieved untill the following month and I forgot the time he arrived and departed.

I called them and let them know I wanted to talk to a technician because I know how to do the work I just needed some questions and the assistant transferred me right over to a technician by the name of Adam.

after explaining to Blair my very odd/peculiar problem i asked her if i could please talk to a tech,she got me one on line under a minute wwwwwwwwwwwwwow !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! his name was Adam ! .i started both convos with letting them both know i was very skilled at electricity myself . i talked a little shop with Mr.Adam professional to professional and he assured me i was on the right path/diagnosis !!! :) you know folkz electricity is very dangerous and you should always contact a real professional first ! .the reason i am writing this is to let you know i called a bunch of people and no one would talk to me over the phone,i believe CAJUN ELECTRIC ,BLAIR ,AND ADAM to be modern up to date ,but still respect the good ole fashioned , willing to try to help people out of respect and goodwill . my hat/bandanna goes out to these two people and company , and i would recommend them again to friends,family, or residential or commercial clients.thankz again Blair and Adam and GOD bless you both and your company ! :) your friend RICK :)

This is the second time I have used them. I called them after the wonderful job they did the first time for me and the delivered with great service again. I will continue to use them for any electrical needs.
