Good experience. They came out when they said they would.

They did an excellent job rermoving two trees in a confined space without damaging any of the surrounding trees, fences or gardens. They were very professional, prompt and very efficient.

We had 4 sweet gum, an old elm to take down and then a water oak to be trimmed. Although we had some miscommunication at first on the timing of the estimate, Jim came through with a great estimate. We were delayed on starting the job due to the heavy rains and the soggy ground. On March 17, Jim and his crew arrived just when they said they would. They brought all kinds of equipment - chippers, bucket trucks, containers. The crew not only did the job as described but also trimmed up some additional trees (crape myrtles and other small trees) a removed some mistletoe from a river birch in the front yard. they were very professional, and ended on time. They cleaned up all the debris and then some - blew off the driveway and sidewalks, raked the yard, put all the . Despite the soggy condition of the yard, the lawn had only a few marks in it. They cut some nice logs for use in our fireplace (perfectly sized so we did not have to split them. The crew was so polite and Jim kept us informed on the progress. I would recommend Jim and his team to anyone. We got 3 quotes and Bofinger was not the lowest cost but definitely the best value.

George is great to work with and his crew is very professional. George used all his own equipment including bucket trucks excavation equipment and removal equipment. Everything went very well and all the chip was removed from the yard. Every day while working George's crew cleaned up and left the area in great condition. Highly recommended

I have done business with Bofinger's for years. We own apartment complexes and apartment complexes and George's crews can always handle our tree maintenance needs. His men are professional and friendly and always have great equipment. They take measures to protect our customers' property while they work and always leave the job site cleaner than it was when they arrived. I confidently refer George when ever anyone I know needs a well priced, professional tree maintenance contractor.

For a difficult job, Bofinger's is the way to go; the removal of the tall tree was complicating finding a contractor to undertake the project (it would have been nice if the other three contractors had bothered to let me know they weren't going to bid--I would have saved some time). Bofinger's had the equipment to handle this job, and the experience and professionalism to carry it through. His office staff arranged to contact my neighbor for the use of their driveway to sit the crane there to remove the tree. His team laid down rubberized/plastic tread mats along the driveway and grass to protect the property. Clean up was complete. Note re price: I rated it a "B" only because the price reflected what a business needs to charge to cover adequate capital expenditures, insurance, wages, and other overhead.

They arrived on time, were very careful with the lawn and cleanup and did some additional tasks for free.

They were prompt, efficient, and cleaned up thoroughly when they left. The team of three work extremely well together. We'll be having them back next Spring -- we should have done it this year, but . . . to those who say that they are expensive, they are licensed arborists. They know what they are doing and how to take care of your trees for the long-term.

I contacted Bofinger for a quote on tree pruning after reading positive reviews on Angie's List. George responded to my inquiry quickly and scheduled an appointment to look at my tree and discuss possible work. He was punctual, friendly and knowledgeable, but his quote ended up being rather expensive for the scope of the work he proposed. Ultimately I went with another company that was $300 cheaper.

The crew arrived on time and completed the work in a timely manner. They were professional and polite. They also removed part of a crepe myrtle tree that was damaging a gutter. After the work was done, they did a thorough clean up.

Had to wait a while but did an awesome job. Definitely a good company to do business with.

We were happy with the services. The company had lots of workers, so the job was done quickly. Everyone was pleasant and the trees and yard looked great.

George came out to give us a bid on tree work in our yard. He stopped by on his way home at the end of the day. We walked our property and discussed what we wanted done with our live oak trees and 1 water oak. He was very experienced in his field. I let him know that we were getting 3 bids. (They were all from Angie's list) After getting all the bids, we decided to go with one of the other companies. We would have felt comfortable with George's company doing the work and know he would have done a good job. Since all 3 were very capable, it came down to cost. If you need tree work done, he should be one of your bidders.

They are very fast and professional. After they cut down the trees, they removed all the debris and ground up the stumps. They are not cheap but they do a good job.

He had top grading and he did a great job. He name is George Bofinger. He was responsive. He did what he said he was going to do. I had some rims that had to be cut around and he came out. He told the company after he cut them. He was there to direct the cutting. It was a lot of money, but I think anybody would have followed George. I would use them again in the future.

Called for an estimate and set up an appt. for them to come over. No one showed up the day they were supposed to and no one called. I called back to set up another appt and they took my name and number but I never received a return call. The guy I talked to the first time was very professional and he told me they were very busy and it would be 5 to 6 weeks before they could get out to do the job, but we never got to that point.......

The job was excellent. We would highly, highly recommend them. He offered a senior citizens discount.

They followed my instructions and consulted with me before executing a few suggestions they made once the project was in progress.

George came to our home to do an estimate. During the walk-thru, he made a couple of suggestions that were also valuable and we included them along with original request. The team arrived as scheduled, introduced themselves and went to work. Within a very short time, they had completed the task and to be honest , I could not tell they had been here EXCEPT the trees never looked better. When I discovered they had missed one of the items, I called George to let him know. He had a few minutes and came right over to investigate. He apologized and assured me he would have someone come by later in the day to take care of it. That same afternoon, a couple of the employees arrived, removed the tree, loaded it on the vehicle and were gone to the next job. They were all very professional, knowledgeable, courteous and did NOT touch the Ligustrums - we will definitely use them in the future. Thanks!!!

They did a good job. They made the trees and bushes look really nice. It took them a while to get out to my place, which I didn't like but it wasn't really their fault because we had a bunch of storms so a lot of trees went down and they had to quickly fix them. It took them almost a month to get to me, which I didn't like at all. I had to call them to see if they were still coming out because they were so busy with all the trees that had come down on power lines and houses. They didn't call and I somewhat understood, but at the same time, they had an appointment and they should have called me to let me know that they weren't going to make it because the city had them doing cleanup. I was a little upset about that but they did a good job when they came out. They did a lot more extra things that were already included in the price and not because they were late. They had quoted me a price over the phone and when they came out I told them about two or three more bushes and he said he wouldn't charge me for that which was nice of them but I wish they would have cut some more off since they were three weeks late. They did a good job and I would hire them back. Their quality of service was good but I wish they had been more punctual.

It was a great price. I never had to wait on him, he came out when I called him and the fellows he had working for him cleaned up before they left. When he said he was coming out he came out. The only thing that happened is that I told him I had a check for him and it took about a week for him to come and get it, but that didn't bother me. My sister next door hired him for work, too.
