After doing some research about different companies, we elected to go with this company. Very pleased. I called the office and had several questions answered. They were able to come to our house for our first treatment within a few days. Only lived in our house a few months but glad we had them come out. Treated for ants, spiders, wasps etc. We had spotted a black widow and she did find one and of course got rid of it for us. All their staff have entomology degrees and are very knowledgable. We plan to continue to use this company for regular pest control.

So I have known Dr. Rick Story from my previous job at LSU. He was one of the best entomologists at LSU AgCenter. When I learned about his family business, it was no brainer to use him. Prior to using BR Pest, I had used a national pest company and paid much more with "seasonal" workers. He and his associate came to my house in Baton Rouge (Magnolia Woods neighborhood near Highland Rd) then did a full Termidor treatment around 1-level 2700 sq house. They also treated all 3 bathroom areas from indoor as well. Then I had signed up for an annual contract. No issues there. He was always happy to answer any questions and gave me some great tips for preventing termites and even other pests (no - I didn't have a general pest contract with him.) At this point, it was several years ago and we now have moved away to North Carolina. However, Rick and his team are still one of the best pest service companies I have dealt with. Good luck!

He checked behind the tub panels and throughout the house and outside areas to ensure that we haven't been invaded by termites. Since the Formosan termites have invaded our region, this is a serious concern. He also spent hours trenching around the house to apply the follow-up treatment and then came inside and removed the wall panels to treat around the bathtubs. The work was expertly done, and he returned everything to its normal state when he was finished with the re-treatment. We have used Baton Rouge Pest Control for over ten years and have been completely satisfied.

We receive a call every month to schedule the next visit at a mutually convenient time. The visits are prompt and always prove to be effective. They treat both inside our home along with the yard while being mindful of our pets. We have never been displeased with their service and recommend this company highly.

They are very professional. If you see any insects during the quarter, they come out and re-spray at no cost to you.

All employees have degree's in Entomology and are knowledgeable with not only pest issues in relation to the house but pest issues in relation with plants and shrubs. Very happy thus far with this family owned business.

Dr. Rick come to the place on time and find the nest of yellow jacket precisely. The treatment was really quick no more than 10 mins. But he also walk around the whole area to make sure there is no other nest left. As I need tree cut the next morning, he did come back to make sure no yellow jacket present there, though I didn't ask him to do so. Very productive and responsible for the service.

Baton Rouge Pest Control is always timely and returns phone calls promptly. We had a termite inspection today and the owner was on time and very polite. He inspected our home for termite activity. We would always use Baton Rouge Pest Control if we stayed in Baton Rouge.

Technician and owner arrived at the specified time and cleared the areas as necessary to apply the insecticide as they had described. The interior work to apply the product to the drains was completed in a timely and efficient manner. My questions regarding their techniques were answered to my satisfaction.

Like I said earlier, I would have liked for the process to have been completed at once and not dragged out over 5 months. But, all things considered... they've done a great job.

After a kitchen redo, we noticed signs of termites. We looked on Angie's List and called BR Pest Control as they had a high rating. They came out the same day and scheduled our treatment after explaining everything. They were on time, and completed the job in a few hours and were neat, polite, informative and professional.

He agave us the estimate and recommendations at the beginning of July. He did not badger me for a decision. I contacted him about a week before the job was done to give him the job. He sent two people out to drill injections holes every 12" around the perimeter of the house and to drill each of the peers under the house. They then injected each hole with the termiticide( Thermadore). They came back a few days later and filled in ech of the holes.The tretment is labled to last 10 years.
