Description of Work: We just moved in our new home and had issues with bugs that are attracted to moisture. I tried getting rid of them myself but they multiplied. Arrow came and got rid of them! $150 included 1 visit and 2 follow ups. Recommend these guys for anyone! Would call them again.

Description of Work: On 4-28-14 I purchased a three-time mosquito treatment from Arrow Pest Control on Angie's List for $150. Daniel, serviceman for the Lafayette area, came to my house on May 8th and applied a granular product and a spray to more than 2 acres of our property. Before leaving he cautioned my husband that rain was predicted that might lessen the product's effectiveness. He handed a business card with instructions to call if we were not satisfied with results. It stormed every day almost all day for a full week beginning that night. A few days after the storms I called and told Mary that we were not seeing the full effects of the treatment. She very cheerfully offered a free respray at no extra charge. Daniel came back on May 28th (he is punctual almost to the minute!). Again rain was predicted and Daniel advised us to wait. We took his advice as this man is a true professional. I called and the office manager, Michelle, happily set up a new appt. On June 5th Daniel returned and very thoroughly re sprayed our yard. That evening, at dusk, I watered my pot plants and did general yard work for over an hour. I did not need to apply mosquito repellent. It was pleasurable to be able to work in my yard and not come in with huge welts from mosquito bites. I have been doing yard work ever since using no repellent, and I haven't been bothered by even the pesky no-seeums. Also, our monthly flea treatment for 2 dogs and cat was extended by 3 weeks. I am extremely satisfied with Arrow's services and wish we had learned earlier about their professional mosquito control. I had called several places in our area over the past few years. After I told them that we had a llarge area and pond, my calls were not returned. P.S. I still have bees, dragonflies, and earthworms!

A couple of weeks after making the purchase I contacted the company to see if/when we would hear from them. I received a request for a contact number. | |My wife set up the appointment, but no one showed. | |When the next appointment was arranged my wife asked if it would be cancelled if it was raining, to which she received the reply that it made no difference. | |When the service man showed up it was raining so he sprayed the inside of the house for insects, but said he would have to set another time to return for the outside spraying. | |My wife said the gentleman who performed the services was very nice. My problem is with the office's poor follow-up on the initial purchase and the poor information provided. Several pieces of information were not correct.

Description of Work: I chose for them to use Talston Granules instead of a spray. They spread granules around the entire house, property and 5' underneath the house. It has been almost a month, and I have not seen or felt the presence of mosqitos. This was the 1st treatment.
