Daniel did a thorough analysis of the system, and gave both the absolute information on the system and all possible options available. I pressed him for his opinion (what he would do if it were his system), and he was completely honest and straightforward. Unfortunately, the system is going to have to be replaced as the evaporator coils are leaking and the compressor is failing, but Daniel did an outstanding job in giving us all the information to make a well-informed decision. Daniel has additionally followed up with us and Goodman to determine was would fall under the warranty and what would not. I have to say that this is by far the best experience I've had with an HVAC service company. I would not hesitate to use this service again, and intend to when we have the new system installed.

A definite Thumbs-UP. Arrived on time, proceeded to perform a thorough inspection and maintenance of both house units. Provided a detailed written and verbal record of work done and any problems found. in terms even I could understand. A second visit was needed for the replacement of a fan motor again on time, clean, efficientand pleasant. We will be using this company for all our A/C work.

My AC unit was not turning on outside but the blower was working inside...I called Residential Experts Heating and Cooling at 7am on 3/13/2012 and Daniel Bandy was at my home by 10:00 am. I can't recommend this young man to highly...upon inspection he realized that the outside unit wasn't getting electricity...I had done some electrical work the day before and tripped the breaker...after resetting the circuit breaker Daniel when on to do a complete tuneup on the unit outside and in the attic...checking all electrical connections and pressures using his gauges and cleaning the coils outside...really all that was wrong upon inspection was the circuit breaker had tripped and had I realized the problem before hand I would not have needed Daniel' service. I have to say that I have no regrets because I got my unit checked out for the upcoming summer and Daniel only charged $49. WOW! what a deal. I enthusiastically recommend Residential Experts Heating and Cooling.

I used Angie's List to locate a suitable professional A/C man and called Daniel Bandy. We talked over the phone and I asked him to come out when he could. He called a little later telling me that he was ready to come over and he arrived promptly. He worked for a solid two hours as I watched and helped. A previous repair had damaged the squirrel cage housing assembly so we reinstalled the new motor as best we could. The squirrel cage ran true and remained balanced. The motor brackets have the motor tilting slightly downward which is causing a larger amount of thrust load than it should have. Short of replacing the squirrel cage housing, Daniel found a position in which the blower ran fine and tested our unit. He left us an unbelievable two year labor warranty which, given his outstanding reputation, meant a lot under the circumstance of the units condition. Daniel was a pleasure to meet and work with and I hope to call him again the next time we need assistance. I highly recommend this yound man.

He was really good. He took a lot of time to do the tune up of my furnace. He explained the things that were going on with it. He told me I should buy a carbon monoxide detector.

I have never been so impressed with service on an HVAC system. I have had some poor experiences, but I can tell you that you will never receive poor service here. I highly recommend using Residential Experts Heating and Cooling. Everything was well explained, and if I asked a question, no matter how silly, it was answered with complete honesty. Work was completed quickly and for a very, very fair price. He even offered to install my new thermostat for me when completed the work ahead of schedule. A fantastic experience! He was even as nice as could be to my rather energetic and loving (crazy) cat. What more could you ask for?

Because the heat would not come on I needed service as soon as possible. The owner was extremely responsive and said that he was working in the general area and would be able to come by within approximately two hours after completing an installation.

In fact about two hours later he called to let me know he was on the way and arrived about 15 minutes later. He quickly diagnosed the problem, it was a simple fix and while there I had him complete a full HVAC inspection. He checked it out completely and was out the door in twenty minutes max.

Wow! This company won me over from the outset: First, Daniel was thoughtful enough to knock on my front door rather than ring the doorbell. I greatly appreciated that because the service call didn't begin with my "'fraidy cat" panicking and hiding under the bed for the rest of the day. Then Daniel saved my carpet by wearing those cute little booties over his shoes while he was in the house.

And this guy knew his stuff. It took only moments for him to diagnose why my furnace wasn't working, while explaining it all to me: not only which way to put in the furnace filter (something I already knew), but WHY the filter goes in that way (new information!). Daniel also explained the likely reason that the igniter went bad (MORE new info!!), as well as what the different parts of the furnace were.

Other aspects of the service call were also guaranteed to impress: After he finished installing the igniter, Daniel checked all the remaining connections on the furnace. Then he took a look at the humidifier and adjusted it, which alleviated a problem I've had with the humidifier for several years. Finally, instead of "knocking out the competition," symbolically at least, by covering up their sticker with his, he placed his sticker beneath theirs because, as he pointed out, the information on their sticker contributes to understanding the history of the furnace.

I VERY HIGHLY recommend this company! Daniel was punctual, polite, knowledgeable, and informative. He turned what I had dreaded as an onerous necessity into a brief, afternoon learning opportunity. Thanks, Daniel!

It started out with a tune up for my heat pump. It turned out to be much more than that.
My Tempstar auxillary electric furnace which is less that 10 years old wasn't producing heat.
It turned out that a few parts had gone bad. Sounded like no big deal. Replace the parts and move on.
Oh no, of course it wasn't that easy. They no longer make the parts because they were defective.
Tempstar forces you to buy the rebuild kit which is around 300.00.
The parts had to be ordered, and when you factor in the Holidays, that turned out to be an ordeal.
Thank goodness for Daniel from Residential Experts Heating and Cooling. He turned a very negative experience
because of Tempstar into a very pleasant one. He went above and beyond on this one.
He got me the part at his cost and installed it without a labor charge. I believe he took a loss on the job
because he felt so bad for me.
I'll definitly be calling him back in the spring to tune up my a/c.

I called Residential Heating and Cooling when our furnace was making loud noises. Daniel listened to our problem and told us he could be out that afternoon. He called between the times he indicated. Daniel came in and checked out the furnace. He found the blower mount loose and the screw was inside the furnace. He reinstalled the part. Everything checked out ok and the furnace was much quieter. :-) Then he answered all our questions regarding our furnace and heat pump. He was very patient and knowledgeable and professional.

Called Residential Experts after having another HVAC contractor try to diagnose a heat pump issue on three separate occasions. After dealing with a cold home for two weekend nights in a row and the other company didn't answer their after hours on-call line, I called Residential based on a recommendation. Daniel was at my home on a Sunday afternoon within an hour. When he left, I had heat, at least temporarily. I was sceptical. Daniel came back in two days to install requested components and to do an additional diagnoses of what was malfunctioning and what went wrong with the previous repair/installation work. Found several issues and they were corrected immediately. Now everything is working as it should be and I have more knowledge of just how my system should work than I have ever been given. Cost was absolutely reasonable, he was willing to go out of his way to make sure everything was as it shoudl be before he left. . I would recommend this company to anyone!

Overall, from the first phone call to the visit, the experience exceeded my expectations.

Excellent job. On time, cleaned up and explained operation and maintenance. Installation included two year warranty.

Came promptly both times, was very polite and professional and made sure everything was workiing properly before he left. Will certainly call him again if the need arises. Both calls occurred on holidays. The No Overtime charge policy was much appreciated.

He completed a maintance visit- a week later there was a problem. He came to my home the same day I called and deducted the maintance visit from my bill even though it was something that could not have been picked on during his intial visit.

Daniel is great! I had a gas leak and had one HVAC guy look at it and he told me that everything was okay. But I still smelled gas when my furnace would cut on. So I wanted a second set of eyes to look at my furnace to make sure that there was no gas leak. So I called Residential Experts and Daniel came out. He located the leak and fixed it. He is always thorough. I will definitely use him again.

Daniel was very professional and was extremely knowledgeable. He did everything promised and more. We just had our furnace and humidifier installed 2 years ago by another highly rated company on Angie's List. During the check-up Daniel found that the humidifier pad appeared to be brand new. After checking further, the tube that supplied the water to the humidifier had never been opened so no water was passing through. He fixed the problem so now we have a humidifier that actuallly works for the coming winter. I will definitely hire Daniel from Residential Experts Heating and Cooling for our next air conditioning and furnace check-up.
