Fabulous! This was an outstanding experience. I will not even consider using any other company in the future. The inspection was very thorough, and I felt like I got way more than I paid for. Daniel was very easy to get along with. Obviously, he's very honest. I highly, highly recommend this company.

They were on time and very professional. Spent time explaining their process and anything they found. Extremely polite and knowledgeable. I will bring them back if the future.

We took advantage of the Angie's List Big Deal to receive a HVAC inspection/tune up for the summer. I called to set up an appointment, due to the overwhelming response Residential Experts Heating and Cooling where a bit delayed as to when they could come out. However, I received a rather prompt appointment given the circumstances. Daniel called prior to coming out to confirm my availability. Daniel did a very thorough inspection of our 10 year old unit, checking the unit inside and outside for air flow, refrigerant and the filters, he even washed off the AC unit outside. Upon completion, he provided us with the details of the work that he performed and his recommendations, none of which included any up-selling or the need to replace anything. He provided great tips that would help us to extend the life of our AC and to maximize the effectiveness of the unit. Daniel is very knowledgeable and cordial.

My experience with this company was great! The owner showed up on time and answered any questions that I had. He was really nice and friendly and explained to me what the current condition of my system is and what possible repairs will need to be made soon.

He was very professional and explained all steps taken for a AC tune up. Very friendly and was impressed with his punctionality and knowledge.

Even though our time slot occurred later in the evening, Daniel seemed to be in no rush during our appointment. We asked several questions, which were all answered patiently. He took the time to check our model's specific parameters before adding freon, and explained the shortcomings of our unit without any pressure to purchase. When it appeared we needed a new filter, Daniel took additional time to check his supply for one and demonstrated how to change it so we could do it in the future without assistance. Prior to leaving he asked both of us if we had any questions, making us feel more than comfortable with the recommendations. Overall, Daniel was a polite and informative expert. He made no attempts to intimidate us with technical jargon or heavy handed sales pitches. It appeared in every way that he has genuine enthusiasm for his line of work, which made for an extremely pleasant appointment. We would definitely recommend him first to friends.

Service was great. I was able to ask questions and he suggested ways as a home owner to make my unit last longer. He also pointed out a few things that were incorrect and fixed/improved.

I was very, very pleased with this service! I purchased my home a few months ago and knew pretty much nothing about the condition of the furnace and a/c systems. He not only performed the inspections that I requested, he went into great detail explaining how each worked, explained the proper routine maintenance, and gave me some troubleshooting tips to extend their life. He did not seem to mind me looking over his shoulder one bit. He talked to me the whole time explaining what he was doing and what he was looking for. He did not try to sell me any long-term contracts, actually he told me that if there's no indication of any problems, an every-other-year inspection/tune-up should be just fine! I was really surprised. One of the reasons I had put this off is because of stories I had heard from co-workers about how pushy heating/ac guys can be trying to lock people into contracts. In addition, on the receipt that he left me he wrote out in detail all the things he had told me so that I wouldn't forget, along with my filter size, etc. In short, he did a very thorough inspection and taught me a ton of things in the process! Without question this is who I'll call when my 17-yr old units fizzle out in the next few years (hopefully!).

We used the coupon code to get an AC inspection/tune up. The owner was on time, efficient and answered all of our questions. He also didn't try to upsell us on anything. I don't want my AC to blow up this winter. If it does, I at least know where to call.

Daniel was great -he was friendly, communicative, prompt, and professional, seems to be a very capable and honest person. He answered questions and offered suggestions. We would use this company again.

Daniel was out to our house on a Saturday within an hour of calling them. He did a great job and only had to add some freon to get the sysem back up. I have asthma so leaving windows open is not an option. Thanks to Residential Experts Heating and Cooling we are cooling off now!

I learned a long time ago that you don't leave someone alone when they are during their job and this was no exception. The technician, Daniel, was great and answered all of my questions and learner a lot. He was very patient and seemed to be very honest.

Wow! I am VERY impressed! I took advantage of an Angie's List "big deal" to get an A/C tune up for $49 from this company and wasn't planning to call to schedule the tune-up until June (since we usually don't have our A/C on much before then). Well, the weather got HOT fast and we tried to put on the A/C yesterday and it wouldn't start. Seemed odd since the unit was only 5 or 6 years old and we'd never had problems before. Regardless, I went ahead and called Daniel to schedule the service call. Although it took him more than a day to get back with me, when he did, he worked hard to squeeze me into his tightly packed schedule and then, before we hung up, I asked him if, by any chance, the problem could be caused by something that didn't get reconnected properly when we had our furnace replaced this winter (by another company). He said that very well could be the problem and took the time on the phone to walk me through what to look for inside the furnace unit on the circuit board to make sure the thermostat was connected properly. He was EXTREMELY patient as I tried to find some of the wires he was describing to me. Once I did find them, I located one that was not connected to anything. From my description of the wire, he was able to tell me where to reattach it on the circuit board and then waited while I tried turning on the A/C again. IT WORKED!!! I am SO relieved to have A/C again AND to not have to wait until Saturday to have him come and reconnect a wire that was such a simple fix. I'm sure HE'S glad he doesn't have to squeeze me into his already-packed schedule for another couple weeks now, too. What a win-win situation! Daniel is a very caring professional who clearly is an honest businessman doing his best to help people. I was NOT a current customer, so he really had no vested interest in taking the time to help me see if there was a simple fix to this issue. But he did take the time and that speaks volumes to his business ethics and customer service. I will DEFINITELY be using Residential Experts again! Thanks, Daniel!

I have to say I was VERY impressed with Residential Experts Heating and Cooling. They called to set up the appoint for the inspection a day after I purchased the Big Deal.... came promptly, told me a lot of good, detailed info about my Air Conditioner (it came with the house I bought 2 years ago and I really didn't know anything about it). He also advised me on how to keep it running well despite it's age. I would highly recommend this company.

This was a very good experience, and the service was excellent. The service person was well-read, professional and I felt assured that he knew the product and procedures. Great company!

We took advantage of "Angie's Big Deal" for an AC/spring tune-up. We have had service contracts in the past to provide this type of service. As time went on, our service contract provider started skipping key steps. We did not renew the contract this year and took tried "Residential Experts". Their A/C tune-up was thorough and the technician was on time, knowledgeable and courteous. Obviously, the "Big Deal" pricing could not be beat.

I called to schedule the service had to leave a message but they called me back the same day. They were able to schedule within the same week to come out and look at the A/C. Everything was in working order, but the tech spent some extra time talking about some other HVAC issues we had and provided some reccomendations which was nice of him. I would use them again they were on time, and did everything they said they would.

Daniel was prompt, courteous and very professional. My wife felt at ease with him working in and out of our house. He responded to my call almost immediately, and came out the same day. The service he provide far exceed my expectations. He took his time explaining what he was doing and was very respectful of our home. His pricing was much lower then other companies I have used. Daniel called me back right away, and was able to get out to my house the same day. He was very thorough, and took his time explaining exactly what he did after he performed the tune up. I was very impressed with professionalism and attention to detail. I would not hesitate to use Daniel's company in the future.

Daniel and Residential Experts was the third HVAC service professional to visit the house. The first two fussed with the thermostat, cleaned/checked the furnace, told us it was repaired and charged us for a call. Neither call resolved the issue. I arrived home just as Daniel was wrapping up. He had already troubleshooted the situation and formed a theory about the issue and had explained everything to my wife. He took the time to walk through the entire synopsis of his evaluation and theory a second time to me. He explained his theory was leaves or a small animal were wedged into the air intake for the furnace. Daniel clearly outlined the tests he had run, the results and how they went toward proving his theory. He wanted to test/prove his theory by leaving the panel door open to ensure adequate air intake for proper combustion. We would run this way for a few days and see if the furnace kicked on properly. He didn't want to crack open the 4" tube and clear/clean it out (and thus incur the additional cost to us) without proving his theory. Daniel was also very clear that this created a safety issue with our kids. With the door to the furnace room locked, I felt confident the safety concern was abated. Daniel left that evening without allowing us to pay for his services. He said he wanted to prove the theory first and then we could pay him. Further, he told me precisely how to open the 4" air-intake tube and clean it out myself if I were so inclined; thus saving me the money of the repair if his theory held true. All that evening and ever since, the furnace functioned brilliantly and according to the thermostat. Daniels theory was 100% correct. At our convenience, Daniel came back out two weeks later to clean out the air-intake tube. Sure enough, it was blocked by leaves. The furnace was choking without adequate air. Daniel cleaned out the tube, sealed it back up properly, replaced the furnace front panel and its worked perfectly ever since. Daniel's ownership of the problem, his diagnosis skills, his ability to clearly explain both the complicated details of the situation as well as his theory and his experience and skill with the furnace made our experience fantastic. We had fought this issue for (literally) months without a resolution. It was becoming a source of contention around the family. In 45 minutes, Daniel resolved the issue and was willing to stake his invoice on letting a theory play out. As a result of this experience, I would give Daniel my strongest recommendation to anyone requiring heating and cooling diagnosis and repairs.

My experience with Residential Experts was wonderful! I was especially thankful for their help since my husband works nights and I have a one year old baby. I woke up very early with my son (sometime between 4:30 and 5:00) and my house was pretty cold because the furnace wasn't working. I fiddled with the thermostat trying to get it to work, but no luck. I rocked my little one back to sleep and called Residential Experts. I was surprised to get an answer since it was so early. However, not only did they answer, they were at my house with an hour. The owner himself came out! I was so impressed. He was very courteous and professional. He even asked if I wanted him to take off his shoes. He took a look at my furnace in my house and then at the fan outside. He ended up replacing the outdoor fan motor. While he was at my house, he also cleaned out the furnace and replaced the filter. To top it off, I did not get charged an exorbiant emergency service fee! I would highly recommend Residential Experts to anyone and would use them again!

I have just moved to Milwaukee, Wisconsin to Columbus and had not yet found reliable companies for my new house. Despite my good luck of moving to a warmer climate, my furnace stopped working a couple of days ago. I searched at Angie's List to find companies that might respond to my late night request. I requested that 2 companies from Angie's List return my call; while waiting for those 2 companies to call me back, I remembered that I had received a postcard in the mail from another company. They answered my call right away; there wasn't an answering service that needed to contact someone who would return my call nor was there a pager to try to get ahold of someone. I actually spoke to the technician on the phone at he was at my house within 45 minutes. Once at my house he was extremely polite and seemed like he wanted to make sure I understood everything (even though it was in the middle of the night) before just replacing a part or telling me that everything was fixed.
