Abba Movers

"The workers were punctual, prepared and worked efficiently to get all of our houseful of furniture into a POD. Great work. My only concern was that we found out that the cost was about 20 more per hour than other service providers charged, even though this mover was offered as a "special promotion" (read- savings?). I would check out some other services for more specific pricing before just going with the Angies List suggested Specials....we could have saved $40.00. Anyway, we were happy with these movers. They did great work.

The guys did an amazing job. All three of them were very professional, careful, and quick with their work. They arrived a bit later than scheduled, but called to let me know that they were delayed due to an equipment issue with their truck. I would definitely contact them again if we ever needed a mover.

For starters, Dennis, Irwin and Adolfo could not have been nicer and more accommodating, particularly since I'm afraid I had no prior experience with moving and no idea of the logistics. Fortunately, I chose well. The move went very smoothly and the men were very patient with me. They also took great care of the furnishings. I would recommend ABBA totally?I don't think that I could have chosen better. And Nick, with whom I spoke on the phone and who worked with me on scheduling, also could not have been nicer.

Very Well. Contacted Nick, discussed scope of work and agreed on unit prices for time and materials. Then agreed on moving dates. First work day the loaders showed up early. They were very personable and polite. I had marked beforehand what items were staying and reviewed this with the movers. I also pointed out specific items that I wanted extra care in handling. They asked for clarification as needed. IMO all of the guys were very deliberate, quick and careful. The next work day the same group of loaders showed up early. We reviewed what few items needed packing. They finished the packing. loaded the items, transported to new address and unloaded. I am very pleased with the move. Thanks Adolpho, Irving, and Giovanni. They did a wonderful job moving my home. I couldn’t ask for better they were great!!

The crew was incredible. They were very friendly and arrived on time. Despite working for nearly 6 hours, they never took a break, and worked incredibly hard. There were a few little nicks in furniture, and a couple of scratches on walls but nothing major. I know that those are inherently a part of the moving process.

Had 2 men for 2 hrs. They finished in 1 hr. & did everything we asked of them.

We had to reschedule our moving date because the renovations were not complete at our new office. Nick was very accommodating and understanding. The movers arrived on time at our home to load some furniture we were moving to the office. Then they went to our old office and loaded all furnishings and delivered it all to the new location. The men were careful and very courteous and worked steadily the whole time. The move went very well.

They were hard working and very polite. We would recommend them to others.

It went amazing, they were on time, and well staffed. They took good care of our stuff also. The overall service and attention to detail was amazing. Customer service and professionalism was great. Would definitely recommend them to anyone that lives in my area.

They were outstanding. I was in the military for 14 years and have dealt with a lot of movers. These guys were probably the best I've dealt with.

Abba is the best. Nick and his staff took good care of my moving needs. The two person crew showed up on time on the moving day and they were professional and took extra thoughts and steps to place and position my furniture inside the truck to save room and to make sure all the stuff would fit in it. No hassles at all with Abba Movers.

.excellent movers... They told us exactly what supplies to buy beforehand for the job. they were fast ,careful and somehow were able to all of our stuff into "Pod" type moving container. They disassembled the furniture as needed and wrapped it for protection. I thought we had too much "stuff" for the container and that it could not be done but, they did it!!! We had one small incident with breakage. We got on the phone with the office and immediately came to a satisfactory solution. I would hire them again tomorrow!!!! Great deal through Angles list and great service!!!!!

Nick and his team were total professionals. They provided a prompt quote, showed up as scheduled and delivered our belongings with no damage. It was a pleasure working with them.

The movers, Josh and Jean, came ready to move even heavier items than we had and worked full time, no breaks. They were very cautious and careful with our property. We will call Abba Moves the next time.

I didnt use the deal because this doesnt include a moving truck and there are extra cost for it.

It went very well. This was my second time of using them. The first set of guys were great, and the guys this time were good as well. They were on time, pleasant and personable, and seemed to like their job/care about their work. Although they worked quickly (which was wonderful), they also made sure I was happy and I did not feel rushed. I was comfortable with them in my house, as I was with the first guys. I would definately use Abba Movers again and wouldn't hesitate to recommend them. Another nice thing is that Nick (owner? manager?) is VERY responsive and easy to work with.

Nick and his crew at Abba Movers were fantastic. I originally contacted several local movers in the Baton Rouge area about two weeks before my move. Nick was the most responsive and accommodating of anyone I spoke with and offered competitive pricing for the moving services that are provided. We were in contact with each other several times leading up to the day of the move to make sure that any questions or concerns I had were taken care of. The day of the move the 3-man crew arrived 15 minutes before the scheduled start time, were very friendly, professional, and got to work right away. I'm not kidding when I say that they didn't take a single break during the load-out of my old house. These guys worked non-stop and the same can be said of unloading everything at my new house. They disassembled furniture, loaded the moving truck like it were a game of Tetris, tied everything down, and unloaded everything where my wife and I asked them to. Nothing was damaged or lost in the move like you hear about with some other companies. This was the best moving experience I've had and would recommend them to anyone.

The movers called to tell me they were on there way to my home. Once there I showed them what had to be moved and where it needed to go. We had a lot to do in a short time and got started right away. They moved the furniture in the pod and covered it with the blankets provided. They wrapped each piece with shrink wrap so the blanket wouldn't fall off. Once all the furniture was packed we moved the boxes in the pod. They were 30 minutes late, but stayed 30 minutes more to make up the time. Overall I was satisfied and would use them in the future. Although unloading the pod might not be as bad as loading it.

Great company did a wonderful job moving me to my new home. Would most def suggest to anyone looking For a goo moving company. 3 bedroom home in one trip amazing

Very professional movers. Took care of my old furniture in the moving process. Everything arrived in tact without any scratches or damage to any of my furniture.

They did a good job. They were on time, and the owner followed up with me afterwards. Everything went very well.

All in all, Abba Movers did an incredible job. The three men showed up about 10 minutes early and got straight to work. They packed the truck like I didn't think possible and fit my entire 3500 sq ft house in one truck. It was truly magic. At unloading, they moved into the new 3 story house with no complaints (or noticeable breaks) for that matter. I had no issues with damage to either house or furniture. All in all it was a great experience and I will use them in the future in a heartbeat..

There was a snafu with the address so the movers went to the old address, not the new one. It was not a big deal since the new place was very close to the old one. The two movers were professional and hard working. They re-moved several items and they also assembled a metal bed frame.
