They were on time and very efficient.

The move from the house to the storage place went very well. Two men worked so hard to make it happen. We thought that they handled the boxes & bags of books carefully. We wanted to get them back to return the same items from the storage place back to the house, but they were not available. The move of the same items back to the house was handled by 3 men. It got done, but we thought that the first team of two (2) did a better job.

Fantastic. I have had bad luck with movers over the years and am happy to finally have a great moving service that I can use. I called ABBA and the owner was very friendly, scheduling two workers to load up my pod. They arrived on time and were very friendly and careful with my furniture. A month later when the needed to be unloaded, ABBA came back out and took care of it in less than an hour. Same great service and professionalism. Highly recommend!

It went very well considering that there were only two people who did the moving.

Everyone was punctual and very polite. They did the job as I requested and listened to what I instructed them to do. I had to buy an extra few hours but no complaints. The guys did exactly what they were hired to do and were great to work with. I will probably hire them again.

These guys WORK. They were friendly, professional, and did not stop until the job was done, despite the August heat.

Service was fantastic. Both locations had numerous steps and the men handled it with ease and were very careful. Moved quickly and did not take breaks. Very professional and catered to our needs. This company is really great. The owner was in contact whenever we needed him. They even showed up early. The two young guys that came and did our moving were spectacular. They were courteous and did everything asked of them. Even when they mentioned something wasn't going to fit through a certain door, they still tried their hardest and best effort. The job lasted about 5 hours and you will look at about $100/hour. I thought it was a little pricey but well worth it....I didn't have to touch a thing. There was only one hiccoup, they moved something from my apartment that was supposed to stay....but in all fairness, I went over what was going and not going a little quickly and I wasn't paying attention and I should have caught it. Overall, I'll give them an A-.

We were absolutely delighted with Abba's services. This was the best moving crew and best moving experience we've ever had. We had to move furniture and household items from Natchez, MS, to New Orleans, LA. We found Abba Movers on Angie's List and we spoke with Nick to get a quote. He was courteous and professional, and explained the basis for the estimated charges. We obtained a second estimate, and decided to engage Abba. That was the right decision. Abba stayed in touch with us by text and email. The movers arrived on time, they were courteous, knew exactly how to pack our boxes and furnishing onto the truck, and did so using the right equipment and in record time. Despite terrible thunderstorms that forced the crew to wait over an hour until the weather cleared before continuing to New Orleans, Abba charged me only the hourly rate for the regular travel time between Natchez and New Orleans. Because the crew was so efficient in loading and unloading, the final charges were extremely reasonable, well within the original estimate. We highly recommend Abba to anyone who needs moving services within the area.

The movers arrived on time and were extremely professional, courteous and treated our furniture with respect. We couldn't be more pleased and would recommend them time and time again to family and friends.

I've used them again. They dinged up a little bit of my stuff. They did reduce the charge, were nice, and cooperative about making an adjustment.

The movers were very punctual, arrived exactly when they said they would. I went over the time in my offer, but they never rushed or mentioned stopping work. They took a very reasonable lunch break. They were gentle with our belongings and were very genial to be around. The extra cost of the two additional hours they worked was completely worth it for the work they put in. Hopefully I will not be moving anytime soon, so I won't be needing their services again, but I would happily recommend them to others!

Very professional service. I was impressed with the workers did not play around but took there job serious. My furniture and stuff was placed inside the truck and everything was wrapped and secured. I would definitely use this company again in the future.

Overall, the traditionally stressful experience of moving was in my case, an excellent, uneventful and prompt exercise. Starting with my initial contact to Nick. He explained all the specifics of crew size, expected duration to make the moves and the range of costs based on duration. His crews work 7 days a week so scheduling the move at a convenient time was not a problem. Once I agreed to contract Abba to make the move, all details were handled via e-mail and phone notifications. Day of the move: the crew of 4 showed up right on time as promised with moving van and all the blankets, dollies and straping to secure the load. They came in, assessed the furniture to be moved, developed their plan and got down to business. I had to move 2-1/2 bedrooms/living room of furniture from a condo to a house. Also, I had a 10x10 rental storage to move and once the crew arrived at the house, a 8x16 POD worth of items to unload. The crew was very professional, friendly, all business and very prompt. No damage to either contents or house. They didn't even break for lunch. The crew was so quick, they ran my wife and I ragged trying to keep up with giving directions where all the boxes and furniture went. (that's a good thing). I was expecting the whole process to take 6-8 hours.... it only took 4 hours. Wow. Thanks Abba for making my 15 month home renovation project to end on a high note.

They showed up on time, and moved everything without hitting any walls or breaking any delicate items. I'd say it went very well.

We met Nick, owner of Abba Movers, and never interviewed anyone else after. He has a way of instilling confidence in your move, in the relationship you will have with your mover and he makes the chaotic process just that much more sane. Beside that he is endlessly polite and actually returns all your calls and emails?so what?s not to like about that! The way he packs a truck makes me think he may have had a Rubik?s cube as s kid?it?s tight and no inch is wasted. All the people on his team of movers and packers are friendly, respectful and equally polite. We moved long distance from New Orleans to New York State and it went smoothly. Highly recommended!

You have to give the guys credit that represent Abba. Dennis, Wes, Joe, and Ernesto showed up on time and immediately went to work. The items being moved were of special value and the guys handled them with care. These guys were organized, equipped with the latest safety gear for lifting, and worked as a team. I purchased their services after reading their reviews on Angie's List and after speaking with Nick. Our schedule was promptly worked out, they were on time and ready to work. We were moving very special belongings and they were handled that way. They placed the furniture, appliances, and boxes as I requested. It began to rain at the destination and it didn't slow them down a bit. They cleaned up the tracks at the entrances after they completed the move. And, instead of additional charges for the long distance, I actually received a discount because it didn't take the full four hours. How cool is that? I would recommend Abba to anyone that wants their stuff moved with care, on schedule, and at a fair price. David Broussard

The owner of the company was extremely cooperative to arrange the workers to show up early to load furniture items. It was important that the work was done early & on short notice since we were emptying a house in order to meet the closing on the house within a few days. The workers were very prompt, very cooperative & friendly. All items were out of the home within 2 hours. We were extremely pleased with the service provided by Abba Movers.

They were excellent to work with. Nick was prompt in returning my calls when I had to leave a voice mail. His people called when they were delayed for their scheduled appointment to let me know they were stuck in traffic and would be late. They were very professional in their dealings.

These guys are awesome! Showed up on time. Worked amazingly hard in very hot conditions. Packed every single inch of the trailer and bed of our truck with more stuff than we could have ever imagined.

Pack and move is a tough assignment, especially when it is 100-degrees in the shade. The Abba moving team did a fine job packing up, then moving everything 775 miles, a.nd unpacking. They were a friendly, and hard-working bunch. The owner, Nick Marquette was always available via phone and email, and was always prompt in answering questions. Could not have asked for more. Would use them again, and recommend them without reservation.

Both the load and unload went extremely well. Nick went out of his way to make the move as easy as possible. He was very accommodating and was available to answer all my questions and concerns each time I called. Dennis Hernandez packed the PODS in such a way that everything arrived in tip top condition. He and his crew are very professional and very efficient hard workers. I would definitely hire them again and won't hesitate to recommend them.
