Description of Work: I was blown away by how efficient and careful these guys were!!! I've moved a lot, and this was by far my best move! I definitely would use them again and recommend you do too if you are planning a move!!!

Description of Work: Abba Movers did a wonderful job! Due to some severe weather the day before my scheduled move, adjustments to the timing had to be made; but, they were prompt with notification of the delay and the communication was great. They were friendly, efficient, super cost-effective, and most importantly, they were careful with my belongings. Everything arrived in perfect condition. I heard about them from a friend and would definitely recommend them to others. Great job, guys!

Description of Work: I bought a piano on a Saturday morning that I hadn't really planned on buying with the provision that I get it moved by Sunday at 5 pm. Abba movers handled it when no one else would or could.The guys were super responsive and on time, they did a good job and unloaded it at my house, positioned it and set it up. They weren't a piano moving company but they got the job done in the short time frame that I had.

Description of Work: ABBA packed up my apartment, moved the contents to the new apartment, and unloaded the boxes, bags, etc. into the new apartment. They arrived on time and began promptly. Took 3 men approx 5 hours.

Description of Work: We had them pack up most of our stuff (mainly kitchen), load it in the truck and unload it at the new house. Trip was from Baton Rouge to Geismar. Nick was very responsive and helpful in helping us determine how much material (boxes, tape, bubble wrap, etc.) to buy. Communication was excellent and the (4) guys that came out were very nice and did an excellent job. The only thing that broke was a wooden piece on a lamp (that is easily repairable with some wood glue). Everything else was done very well and I would use these guys again in a heartbeat. They did in 8 hours what would have taken me months to do alone.

Description of Work: Nick answered the million and one questions I asked w/ patience and true professionalism. They did arrive 2hrs later than originally scheduled, however I was notified in advance & received calls & texts updating me on their progress. Jean and his partner handled my furniture w/ care & were both friendly and professional. Also I was quoted 2hrs and that's how long the move actually took. These guys are the best!

Description of Work: It went fairly well. We moved both my one bedroom and my fiance's studio apartment in right around 4 hours. They even accommodated my schedule changing last minute and let me push my move to the evening slot. They made quick work of it until they hit a snag while trying to get one of my larger couches through a doorway. They did a bit of damage to the door frame while trying to force the couch through. That was the only major hiccup. The owner Nick told me that he would take care of it if we had any problem getting our security deposit back. I would definitely use them again. They were the best value around (great rates for three men and a truck) and they did a great job. All of the guys had a great attitude throughout. They were a pleasure to work with.

Description of Work: It went well, but it went about 7 hours longer than the 6 hours we expected the move to last. We were expecting 3 movers, but 1 was a no show, through no fault of their own. A 3rd mover, who wasn't supposed be on the job, arrived 6 hours into the move. Being on an hourly rate after the first 2 hours, this was becoming quite costly. They were exhausted and the loading and subsequent unloading began to slow them down. Even though they were very professional, polite and careful with our things, the move cost too much and it took too long.

Description of Work: They came and packed my belongings on one day and then moved my belongings on a second day. The crew was professional, nice, polite and quick. I had heard horror stories of other moving companies being paid by the hour sitting around and wasting time. But this crew did not. They barely even took a break for lunch. I would refer them in a heartbeat.
