Response from Builders & Painters Associates
I do apologize for not answering your email on "Angies List", I do not know what has changed with my account but I have not received the usual phone notifications that I used to get here on Angies list so I didn't even get to see your message until after you've already given me a F. That's OK though. If it gave you some relief, or an outlet to vent, then I guess its worth it. Its true that you can't win them all, but I apologize if you took it personal because it was not my intent. Also, I would like to remind everyone here on Angies List that I have a very small operation, and I can't handle a super large volume of work and "Angies List" Cup runith over." so to speak...at this moment. August 19, 2013 ...Go Angie go! I bought some Angies list stock and have not regretted it at all! Traditionally though, business usually slows down for us closer to the holidays, so If you are willing to work with my schedule, then we can probably fit a job or two in the fall. Thank you guys from the bottom of my heart for the continued support and please refer to the many other positive reviews from the people who have actually hired us. Also guys remember this, that in this day and age a builder can get approached by many different methods ie. phone, email, facebook, angies list, face to face, word of mouth. Some are serious and some are not, some just want a bid so they can get insurance money. Some just want to get 10 bids for all the free advice that they can get. Its probably not that uncommon for customers to get overlooked in high volume times. I want to apologize in advance if that happens to you and for best results, you should contact me by at least two methods to be sure your not one of the potential customers being overlooked. Even if I have too much business at the time I still will talk to you, maybe point you in the right direction and avoid getting another blind sided F. Thanks guys.
