Terminix - Alexandria -Termite & Pest Control

They do the work as promised, but they could be more thorough.

It went fine. There was a supervisor teaching a new person what to do. We have had problems in the past with the technician showing up within the time scheduled, may times!

They are on time, friendly, efficient and I have NO BUGS!

Initially I had them to set up for termites, they built a trench. Since then they come out once a year to just check for termites. A about a year ago I thought I saw some termites. I called them and they came right out and built another trench and I have not seen any since.

They come out yearly for the termites. They are really good with that. We had a problem where they found termites in a door facing outside. They took care of that for us like they said they would. We are under guarantee with them. They paid someone to reduce the door for us. I am really pleased with their service. They do the treatment outside mostly and I am concerned with their pest treatment for my pets. Sometimes they do treat inside, per my request, but I make sure I am not there. I have been very pleased with their service. The pest control treatment deal transfers with us when we move; we have moved 4 times in about 12 years and we have been using them since then.

They are not local and I need someone to come by to get the spray taken care of when I am here. They do the service when I may be working. I plan to go somewhere else when I can find someone. The quality of termite inspection and bug spraying is okay. I just don’t like that I can’t talk to a real person, I always talk to a automotive service.

I have been using their service for around 14 years. They do a good job. They are flexible in their pricing.

We have had Terminix for ten years. We are completely satisfied. We have had some claims and they have settled them quickly.

I get feedback from the property manager indicated what Terminix has done. We have been using their services since 2008. We have not had any issues since they started the treatments.

I receive a letter or email letting me know when they will come for the inspection, they tell me to call if the time doesn't work for me. I have been very satisfied.

Their service is variable. It all depends on who comes out. I have been using their services for over ten years. We feelthey are expensive for the monthly insect treatments.

We would not purchase from Terminix again. However, we purchased their termite system about 12 years ago when we had a swarm of termites. We were frightened and told that we needed to do something that instant. We should have comparison shopped. The system we purchased was a bait system which they did come and check per contract and report activity. They replaced the system several years ago with newer technology and it is cheaper to maintain. However, this year when our contract was up for renewal they charged us the old price of $339 per year and it took several phone calls before we were able to convince them we had a lower renewal price. If we had not had a copy of the contract signed and dated, I am sure they would have insisted on the $339 price. The phone goes to a central office which is then referred to the local office which for us is in Gaithersburg, MD. It was difficult to get a call back from the local office. I will definitely see if there might be other alternatives in two years when this price expires. It is very important to keep a copy of every financial transaction one has with Terminix.

They are a good company to work with, we have not had any problems. They have been very helpful whenever I have an emergency, they will work with you.

It is very difficult to have a one-time treatment from Terminix. They want a one year cycle of regular visits. I specifically requested a one-time treatment and modified the contract agreement in the presence of their agent. Nevertheless, Terminix attempted to make it a multiple visit agreement. I had to phone the head office to resolve the issue.

Terminix has been a very easy company to work with. Their scheduling is straight forward and they seem to be doing a good job at keeping the pests out. Thankfully wee didn't have a pest problem to begin with when we moved in, and Terminix has helped us keep it that way. We've seen mice and roaches outside occasionally, but they haven't made their way inside yet. The pricing seems a little steep for a quick application (the technicians usually come for an hour or so, maybe less). They have been helpful at pointing out holes to cover, good practices to avoid attracting bugs etc. All in all I am happy with the service I've received from them so far.

They are on time, very friendly, and when I had a problem they immediately came out. I haven't had any bad experiences with them and think they have done a good job thus far. Their price does seem a little high, but you get what you pay for.

So far my animals don't get fleas or ticks. I am satisfied with their service. They are very courteous. I have had to cancel several times, and they have always been fine with that. I have been using them for 2 or 3 years now.

I am renting my sister's home where she had regular termite and pest control services with Terminix so I called them to essentially continue the services under my name. They insisted they would have to set up an initial appointment to evaluate the home which is redundant since the home was already under a Terminix plan. However, I was happy that they were able to set up a same day appointment since I was already off work to meet with them. Unfortunately Terminix never showed up in the 1-3pm time frame they gave me. I called customer service twice to see where the technician was. The representative on the phone simply said they did not know where he was and could not get in touch with him through his cell phone. At 3:30 he still had not showed or called so I told her to just cancel my appointment because I had to leave and could not meet the technician at any later time. There was no apology or follow-up phone call for the no-show. I then filed a customer complaint form online. It took Terminix an entire month to respond to my complaint! Their email simply said "Thank you for contacting the Terminix Executive Services Department. We have received and reviewed your request. A copy of your e-mail has been sent to the attention of the Manager at your local Terminix office for follow-up. Additionally, an Executive Services associate will contact you to ensure that your request is being addressed. We apologize for any inconveniences you may have experienced." Of course I never received a response within 24 hours and at this point it doesn't matter because I have already gone with a different pest control company!

Everything is fine. I have had no problems with them. They provide an excellent service. I will continue to use them in the future.

I don't have to be home for them to come. They call the night before to say when they're coming. They come when they say they will. They don't bug me. If I'm here I pay them. If I'm not here they just send the bill. My overall experience with them has been excellent.

The overall service was as expected and I am satisfied.

I plan on having them back. I called a couple of people to see if they were cheaper, but this company is doing a good job.

They are fine and I have been using them for about 2 years. I have no problems or complaints. They are convenient. I have kept them and used them. For me if they say that they are going to show the next day and they show up and they do a good job then I keep them.

It’s an ongoing yearly service. One is for the termite; they come by every couple of months and check the station in which case we don’t have any termites. They also spray in and out. It’s two different contracts. They probably come every couple of months. I spend about $ 1000 a year. There are 2 different crews that come out. One will check all the station around the house to see if there is any activity in the termite station. Another crew comes out just to spray in and out of the house. They spray in the house if we request them. Mostly they spray outside the perimeter of the house to keep bugs from coming in. Everything is good. The people that they have doing it are very nice and very friendly. I was a little concerned about the price. I called them about that and they did lower it a little bit. I will be using them in the future.
