Description of Work: I scheduled a non-warranty repair for a washer through Lowe's Service Advantage.

Description of Work: Lowe's uses this repair service for repairing their customers appliances while still under warranty. The repair company came as scheduled on Monday the first time and decided it needed a part which they ordered. They were suppose to get back with me on Thursday, and after not hearing from them as scheduled, I called them on Friday. I was informed that I had "slipped through the cracks" and hadn't been scheduled. They then sent someone out that day to put the part in but he said it wasn't the right part or it wasn't the problem. He quickly checked out the dryer and couldn't find the problem and said that he wasn't sure if it was repairable. I called the repair service and spoke with first Vicki and then a Betty and was informed that it sounded like it was unrepairable. I then started calling Samsung myself since I wasn't getting anywhere with these people and after a week finally resolved getting the dryer replaced. Samsung call this repair service and they completely did an about-face. They told Samsung that it was not deemed unrepairable. If that is true, why weren't they contacting me to work on getting it fixed. After the last repairman left, I never heard from them again. They never even suggested coming again to continue the repair. So, if my dryer was repairable why didn't they repair instead of completely ignoring the issue?????? Totally unprofessional. I suggest rather than getting this company to fix anything more than a burnt out light bulb, it would be better to just pray since that would work fast than this company. If I could give this company a lower score than an "F" it would be a "Z"

Description of Work: Refrigerator side of split door refrigerator was not cooling as normal, freezer side appeared okay

Description of Work: They replaced the ice maker in the refrigerator. They charged the basic service charge to take out the ice maker and another basic service charge plus labor to come back and replace it. They weren't sure exactly what caused the ice maker not to work so they replaced the entire ice maker plus another part. They have done work on my appliances before. They track a lot of dirt into the house when they visit. The grit scuffed up my linoleum quite badly the last time they visited.

Description of Work: Prompt response to my call to check a washing machine that had apparently been damaged due to an electrical surge when lightening struck the house. Gave an estimate for repairs. I decided to get a new machine as this one was 10 years old. Serviceman was professional and courteous and I think gave a reasonable estimate considering the circumstances.
