.I had removed most of the old rotten wooden railing (about 15 ft), leaving the 4x4 posts (still good). One post had to be dug up and re-inserted as the railing rails only allowed for 6ft separation between posts and one post was at 77". After this correction, the installation proceeded quickly. As the installation was almost ending, I noticed that the crew had neglected to install some minor trim, which they did not think were necessary, but quickly added them. In my younger years, I was an avid DIYer, but felt that my skills had waned and that I did not have the necessary tools to properly install this railing system. If I had been doing the job, I would have made one or two minor changes in the installation, but the differences were not enough to reject the job. I was initially quoted a set amount for 2 men for 2 hours and then a cost per man per hour. The men arrived at 9 am and were finished by noon. When I spoke with Charles Rick to establish the final cost, I was advised that he was charging me $250 for a 1/2 day job (slightly more than the previously agreed upon hourly rate). I accepted the change and asked to pay by Credit Card (also previously agreed on), and was told that it would cost him too much for him to accept a Credit Card, but that I could use PayPal. I did pay him by PayPal. I have emailed him twice requesting an Invoice with his Letterhead for my records, but have not received this Invoice copy. I would not use Charlie Rick, LLC for the reasons stated in the last two paragraphs.

He did amazing work. He calls back. He has a great crew. He can either do what you want or has creative ideas. He always wants to save you money. He is punctual and I highly recommend him.

Everything went great. Charlie showed up on time shortly after I called him. He gave me a fair price, and the job was completed the next week. A double gate was built, and concrete was poured to make a ramp up to a slab I have for boat storage. Charlie and his crew are professional and courteous, while being respectful of my property. Cleaned everything up and the new gate and concrete work looks excellent. I would hire them again in the future.

Overall pretty good, Charlie showed up w/ professional/courteous staff when he said he would; Focused on job, worked w/ me on sorting out Customer preferences as neither of us had used these materials or gate kits before. Staff stayed busy and completed the work. Came back 2nd trip due to missing matls (Customer supplied).

He and his team were in and out quickly, handled the job from start to finish including prepping for the job, measuring, buying the wood, installation and clean up. It was seamless and painless and they did a great job. Charlie is a man of many talents and can help with a variety of projects for homeowners. If he can't handle something he does his best to connect you with someone who can. I highly recommend him.

Our exerpience was good.

I wanted the fence to look just as it did but with a gate in it. After explaining why a few of the things I wanted wouldn’t work, we settled on the details and he and his partner went to work. Using the existing wood he maintained the aged look of the fence and even offered ways to cause the new wood to blend it. My fence is stronger than it was before and the driveway gate is perfect. I will definitely call on Charlie Rick again and I would recommend him to anyone needing work done around or in the house.

We were well pleased with the quality of work and attention to detail. The company was professional and followed through with all of our requirements.
