Chris is a very nice young man. Price reasonable and his work was very good.

It went well, They put my roof on and did chimney work they said they were bringing a mason over when h gave me the estimate on the roof he said I needed new chimney cap and he had a mason because I told him I didn't know one he had a mason that would come over and do it and they came over fixed my chimney cap went ahead and put my new roof on and then just within the last month and that was the day before thanksgiving last year they installed the roof and did the chimney work and within the last month I've had a leak in my basement so I asked them to come over and check my chimney and check the inside of my attic to see if it's leaking up there and when I talked to Scott he tells me that I need to contact the mason for that and I said you guys are the once that brought the mason over here to begin with you contact them because it's all under warranty from the work you did in November he said we didn't use a mason we used our own guy but now their telling me I need a tech-point repair on my chimney and that could be upwards of a thousand dollars are so and I don't have a thousand dollars to begin with and I have heard from them and they have not come over and checked up in my attic he says you know he can almost assure me that the attic is not leaking all though when they put my new roof on they also put three or four sheet I believe it was four sheet four by eight sheeting up there which is brand new they took the old out and replaced it is in fact it is leaking but he is yet to come over and do that and I don't expect him to show up by now but they did send a man over to check the chimney and he's the one that told me I had three holes in my chimney and he's the one that came down off the roof and told me that I needed to contact the mason I told him to contact the mason blah blah anyway I told him go up and put cap in it or whatever you got to do to make sure no water gets in there of which he did and as far as Scott's concern it's fixed, because I feel like he kind of maybe hung me out to dry a little bit because he told me specifically that he was bringing a mason over here and now all of a sudden when I have and issue oh a mason never came over there to begin with we did our own chimney work and now I need to contact he mason and I need to pay for him. I really like him they were very easy to work with they did a good job putting the roof on from what I can see and it look nice on the outside they were very good about cleaning up after themselves but now a few months down the road when I call them about a problem with my chimney which they worked on and no so much, now all of a sudden their just kind of not readily available, so I don't know what to think about them. They sent a guy out after I don't know, it took him a week or so to get out here and they sent a guy out his name was Carlos he and another Mexican came out and they both got up on the roof and I stood out on the back yard and I watched them for a second and then I went in my house and then I came out about an half hour later and smell something extremely caustic smelling and I asked them what they did and Carlos told me that they sprayed some kind of water seal whatever on my chimney and around the base of my chimney to help so that no water would soak in and that was when Carlos told me that I had three holes in my chimney and I needed to contact the mason. I told you when I came out to give you an estimate that your chimney needed to be rebuilt and I said no you didn't he said yes I did you don't remember that conversation I said no he said you were trying to save money I said what I was trying to save money on and what I told you no about is when you gave me an estimate on my roof it was like sixty three hundred dollars somewhere in there and that was for nineteen squares on my main house I also have well I thought that was the reasonable price because I've been told up to twelve thousand and I had seven thousand in my mind so sixty three hundred or sixty four hundred whatever I think it was sixty three seventy one I didn't talk about but then he gave me an estimate on I have a tier deck in my back yard the top tier is twelve wide by sixteen long and he gave me an estimate of three thousand dollars just to roof my patio cover and I told him no way I know everybody is entitle to make a profit and I don't have a problem with that but I'll be damn I'm pay sixty three hundred dollars for a nineteen square on my actual house and then pay and additional three thousand dollars for a twelve by sixteen that's not going to happen I told him that's what I told you no about at no time did you ever tell me my chimney needed to be rebuilt you did tell me I needed a new chimney cap because mine was cracked and you would recommend that's my entire chimney cap be rebuilt.

Took over a month to complete a 10 x 16 deck. It was usually only one guy (Etan) working, although he did have another guy help him tear down the old deck and brought his wife to help with spindles one day. Never knew when he was going to show up, but he was a nice kid - pleasant and accommodating. Trouble was, I'm not sure he ever built a deck before. I've never built a deck myself, so it looked fine to me at first glance, but once it was finished, my husband and I started noticing weird things. Gaps between boards/crossboards, many places where two boards instead of one were used, crooked where it connects to house, etc. plus poor job of cleaning up. Screws, wood pieces, sawdust everywhere, concrete on siding, fencing around garden smashed/twisted. The contractor (Harold), who gave me the original estimate (the estimate was less than the other 2 contractors, plus I liked his ideas) never came out to check on his progress (as far as I know) - a lot of these problems should have/could have been addressed during construction. Once the deck was complete, another fellow from Superior stopped by with a swag bag. I told him that I liked the design of the deck, but was disappointed in the attention to detail. So we examined closer and we both began finding numerous flaws - some that I hadn't noticed before. He took pictures to share with Harold and said that someone would be in touch. No one ever contacted us, probably because it was too late to repair most of the flaws. We had to email or call to get some of the pressing problems corrected, but the subcontractor was always sent back out. Harold never followed up himself. We just had the deck stained by another company and they pointed out all the missing screws, etc. and corrected some of the glaring issues. They also came up with the following punch list: 1. All spindles need to be cut and straightened (this company cut/beveled the bottoms of the unfinished spindles) 2. One twisted floor joist 3. All notches on 6x6 posts poor (1" gap) 4. Deck boards spaced too far apart 5. Deck boards only had one screw instead of 2 (this company finished screwing in all the boards) 6. Joints need to be 45 % angle (no butt joints) 7. Deck is 3" out of square. 8. Lower steps are not wide enough (too narrow - should be 2 boards. 9. Hand rails aren't screwed enough. 10. Many boards cut too short - gaps. Structurally it seems to be sound - passed city inspection - so I don't think it's in danger of falling down. It looks better now that it's stained and a few repairs were made, so we can live with it. I've never posted a bad review before, but this has been a big disappointment and I don't want it to happen to anyone else. Based on all the stellar reviews, Superior appears to do great roof work, but avoid using them for deck building.

It turned out very well. They were quick and timely. I felt what they charged was competitive with the market. I disliked that they had to come out and fix stuff they should have done right the first time. I would tell friends that I would use them and buyer beware.

Not sure about date work was performed. Job went well. Could have provided more detail to clean-up, i.e. roofing nails and shingle pieces.

Overall, they were wonderful! The salesman wasn't good with communication and were wanting to get the work done quickly. The installer was excellent though! He was probably one of the best. He was terrific. They did well matching the color. They gave us exactly what we wanted.

I was 85-95% pleased. Their clean-up was fine. They did the job in 2-3 days. They put flashing on my chimney that they came back to fix, but not to my expectations though.

They are very good company. I have used them a number of times over the years for both planned and emergency work. They stand behind their work. The owners and the people they hire are very good. I recommend them because they are good, honest people. If they say they will be there, they are there!

They were superb! Their pricing is a little on the high side, but the work is excellent!

They do good work. They have fair pricing. For the area we live in, they are probably a cut above.

Superior Home Improvements was a good home improvement experience. My two year old roof was leaking from deficient work in the past from a different outfit. They came out and did a thorough inspection and gave me a reasonable estimate. They completed the repair in an efficient manner. Afterwards, I noticed something that I felt should have been caught and fixed and they immediately came out, verified my claim and fixed it within a few days of my call. I would use this company again in the future. Every point of contact was professional and courteous.

One thing I thought was really neat is I received a note in the mail from them that let us know that they had registered the roof under warranty. They were fast and they cleaned up well.
