Every time I have used the Dunns I have been pleased with their work.

They were very nice and professional, easy to work with, and always kept commuincation open. They were always trying to make us happy-- and did the work as agreed. The work looked good and we were very satisfied.

I called to set up and appointment. They came. They fixed what needed fixing and it now works and looks great.

They had tried, unsuccessfully, a few weeks ago after doing some electrical work for me. They spent most of a holiday afternoon tracking down and fixing the squeaks in my kitchen hardwood floor. My wife and I are thrilled with the result. I'll definitely have them back again.

Overall they did a great job. They were real thorough and made sure everything was done. They did everything we needed them to do and more.

Mike and Nancy set a date for doing the work involved and appeared promptly, went straight to work and completed the door installation very, very efficiently. The doors ended up requiring a lot of juggling to fit in a doorway that was not square. Both doors were too wide for the doorways and required trimming to fit. Mike and Nancy did a beautiful job installing both doors which now work perfectly. In addition, they addressed the previously botched job on my entranceway and made the storm door and entrance door close and open perfectly. They even repaired a deadbolt lock that had never functioned appropriately since its original installation. We now have a fully functional and energy efficient front entrance to our home. Not only did Mike and Nancy do a superior job of installation and repair, they were an absolute delight to have in our home. I would highly recommend Mike and Nancy from Handiworks and plan on having them back to additional work/repair on our home.

They arrived went straight to work and completed the job within three hours.

I think they are good, honest, hardworking people. I plan on using them for more work in the future.

Was in contact with Mike and Nancy via text and phone and they did came to house to view site we wanted tile to be installed above fire place. We were told they were working the estimate and would send it, we waited 2 weeks and called again I was told they had forgot but will send estimate once it was finished We wanted 1/2" hardboard installed above the fireplace since the tile was heavy. Receive a text from Nancy they could not do the job because a few months earlier a friend of Mike had died from falling of the scaffold. She could not hang the hardiboard alone. I text her back the following week, my husband and I hung the hardboard, could we get the estimate for installing the tile. We never heard back from Mike or Nancy. This process took over a month of texting, phone calls and waiting for a written estimate fir nothing. My husband and I installed the tile ourselves.

Mike and Nancy do a great job, and have been repeat service providers for us. Honest, punctual, and do always make sure the job is done right. We will continue to use them.

I had some raccoon damage under the house - insulation torn down and a vent screen damaged. Mike and Nancy showed up on time and got right to work. The door was being hung in an existing frame and had to be trimmed to fit and mounted on hinges. They followed my instructions to the letter and were delightful to work with. I would certainly call them again.

Mike and Nancy work well together. Very professional and cleaned up after themselves. It was a smooth transaction from start to finish. Took them about an hour to install a deadbolt in my home

Mike and Nancy are extremely helpful and responsive. I contacted 4 handymen from Angie's List. Mike was far and away the most responsive. I needed work done in a pinch, and he was able to accommodate. He knew what he needed for the fiberglass grab bar and overnighted some special fasteners for the job. They were on time, very professional and cleaned up everything nicely. Would not hesitate to hire them again.

Mike and Nancy knew what to do,how to do, and made sure the job was right. After they gave us their estimate on the work, we set a work date. They were on-time,prepared for the work needing to be done, knowledgable of what to do, cleaned up afterward....and were gracious to have a cup of coffe with my wife and I when the job was done. They are welcome in our home anytime.

They were excellent. Their responsiveness was excellent. They were not on time but they were quick. I like them a lot. They were personable. I would use them again.

The estimate was for $2800. The work on the roof was not a complicated stuff. The guy was very nice. He came over and gave me the estimate, but we decided not to use them right now. It is too late this year; so we decided not to do it right now. They were just extremely nice and were willing to go out of the way to help us. They did not charge us for the estimate. I had another company come out one time and they charged $35 for an estimate for carpets. We didn't go with them as they were so high. We will get this work done.

They did a great job in fixing all of the things I had requested. Most of all I appreciated their suggestions as to how to do the work effectively and cost efficient instead of just trying to do the "most expensive" type of work. Would definitely use again.

They were very good. I was very happy with them. They solved some problems that other people weren't able to solve.

they even primmed the areas they sanded ..one area was aprox 18' X 4' to be finish sanded in the kitchen /dining room area. The couple was very friendly and were very clean and neat when they sanded. I could not be home when they worked most of the time due to travel. The only complaint I could think of is they were a little slow on the repairs. They had some other work they were doing and I was really pressed for time. They were a few days late when finished but overall........I was very happy with them. They are very friendly!!

They were real good. It was a couple that worked on their own and they did a real good job. They were real cautious. It was a good price. The quality was pretty good. They were busy. They were very professional. I plan to use them again soon.

I found Handiworks on Angie's list. I called and left message and Mike responded quickly. He said he would contact me when he had availability and he did just that. We scheduled a day, they showed up with supplies and finished the same day. Mike and Nancy are great workers and easy to communicate with. They did an awesome job!!!!

UPDATE (5/24/2011): Immediately upon reading my review Handiworks contacted me and explained what went wrong. They did in fact send the estimate however to the wrong email address (I was even the one that wrote it down for them so I'm the one to blame here). I'm sorry I didn't receive it earlier as I might have gone with them for the work. Based on my experiences with Handiworks I would definitely call them the next time I need work done, their price was very affordable and they seemed like genuinely good people. I look forward to working with them in the future. Original Review (SEE UPDATE!! ABOVE): I made an appointment with them to come take a look at some drywall damage in the ceiling caused by a small leak in my AC unit. They were very nice and came on time for the estimate, they were going to provide me an estimate via email later that day but a little over a week has gone by and I haven't heard from them. In their defense I haven't tried to contact them to follow up, I had two different estimates schedule that day and have gone with the other contractor because I already had an estimate in hand and I am concerned about being too aggressive when just in the estimate phase. I do understand things happen though, perhaps the email just didn't make it to me. I would probably try them again in the future though but I am disappointed that they didn't follow up with an estimate.

They were great and I really appreciated their willingness to do smaller jobs.

The work was started in November and just finished. They worked sporadically, but were held up in some cases because of the weather. Very Pleasant to work with.

Price quoted was price charged when the job was finished. Nancy and Mike Dunn ARE Handiworks. They do all the work themselves. They were available when they said they would be. And though they tended to underestimate the time it would take to do a job, they stuck to the estimate.
