Description of Work: I contacted Island Heating and Air since they had done some work for me previously. They were actually able to come out the same day but I was not available so I scheduled a different day. The service person arrived nearly 2 - 2.5 hours later than what I was told. The problem was a simple switch on the furnace and the worker by-passed this and everything was fine. He asked if I wanted to have the switch replaced - it was only about $20 and wouldn't take long. I said ok and then he and the other worker went to get my part. 90 minutes later, they returned with the switch and installed it in approximately 15 minutes. Then they gave me the bill and they had charged me for the ENTIRE time that they spent driving to get this $20 switch. I only live 10 minutes from a Lowes OR Home Depot. I figure they must have driven ALL THE WAY across town, had lunch, and then back. Very disappointed in the overall charge and for not being informed that I would pay the travel time. Never again ...

+ -1 moreI called on Wednesday and he was able to fit me in the next day . Took him 3 hours of hard work and he was done. All kinds of nasty stuff came out of the system.
Description of Work: He cleaned the entire heating and airconditioning system in a 20 year old double wide mobile home I just bought .

+ 3 moreWe had an excellent experience with this company. They were prompt and professional. We had smoke damage due to burnt beans. The smell was awful and lingered. The office staff was very professional and helpful. The technician was very through and professional. They used truck mounted equipment which removed all the junk and treated the odor. We got quotes from other companies that were much higher. In the end we decided to go with this company because they offered the same service with truck mounted vacs as the other guys, and their technicians were also licensed heating and air techinicians(so we felt comfortable that they knew about our system) and they were much cheaper. I am so glad that we did. I was very pleased. I highly reccomend this company.
